First for underestimated gem meme.
Also first for based Gareth and all Gareth related memes.

Move on.

Reminder that Heaven sent was originally going to have the weeping angels sending the Doctor back in time over and over again.

GOAT.

First for preferring Mel

In an incredible twist, Gareth was revealed as Mel user.

We're all Gareth

Gareth judges companions based on how well the actor could have played Romana 2.

No Future: okay.
This definitely felt like a big season finale, with lots of tied-up loose ends and returning continuity elements.
And there are a hell of a lot of continuity elements: you get the Doctor and UNIT fighting the Monk, a Chronovore and the Vardans in a book that also has to resolve the arc which started in Blood Heat and the tensions between the TARDIS team. As if that wasn't enough, No Future tries to be about 1970s punk subculture and civil unrest. It's too much for a single novel to handle, and while on one hand it stops things from ever getting boring, some of those elements aren't explored as well as they could.
And I'm mostly talking about Ace here: after progressively falling out with the Doctor and Benny for the last few books, the payoff here isn't all that great. Basically, it's what Lucifer Rising had already done, but not as good. As in that book, we see Ace betraying the Doctor, only here instead of her rejoining him at the end, we find out that she was secretly working for him all along. This is both predictable (at least after a certain point in the story), and unsatisfying, as we never really see her making the choice and overcoming her issues with the Doctor..
The Doctor and Benny are fine: she joins a punk band and gets closer with Ace as she reflects on what it's like to be a soldier; he gets a few nice scenes with both the Brig and the Monk, as well as a great one about a riot in the underground.
Cornell's a good author, but he gave his best in Love and War, with a relatively limited plot and a tight focus on the characters. This time, he bit off more than he could chew. That said, I don't want to be too harsh: No Future is definitely entertaining, and overall I enjoyed it. But it's a book which has to satisfy a lot of expectations because of its position in the arc, and it makes the mistake of throwing in even more stuff. 6/10.

>tfw you and I are the only ones here knowing who Mel user is
I'm sick of this new /who/.

Gareth "The Doctor has been miscast three times" Roberts

7 is celebrated by the official fan narrative now even if he was unappreciated in his time. If 12 is only remembered for his era's flaws and "flaws" he'll be like 5, who had many good or underrated episodes.

>Capaldi
Who are the other two?

Melanon posted here just a few months ago.

>look what a le oldfag I am, am I cool? I bet no one else remembers this XD
Wrong and pic related.

That's the million dollar question, isn't it?

He says Smith is his favourite, so we can rule him out.

I'm guessing Colin Baker and Pertwee

Nah I think he likes 3.

It's an age old question: How many people have to say something is underrated before it actually becomes properly rated?

instagram.com/p/BPPtcPqgDI0/

How do you feel that the Weeping Angels are returning in a story set in the Vatican?

Do we know for sure that he's including Capaldo?

I dunno if I love or hate the red velvet mixed with the grandpappy jammies and hoodie

>that costume

They've fucking ruined the velvet

>And I'm mostly talking about Ace here
It's a little unfair to compare No Future's use of Ace to Lucifer Rising's, when really almost nobody but Mortimore ever found a good use for Space Bitch Ace. Cornell did better than most of them just by trying to write Space Bitch Ace as if she were an actual character instead of just using Darvill-Evans' stereotypes or pretending all the bits they didn't like in her arc hadn't happened.

And now you realise you will NEVER meet Peter Capaldi as he still is the Doctor.

And now you cry.

;_;

>being this bait

To be fair, why would you want to go to set? I bet he gets annoyed at the fans turning up. There's always conventions etc, which I'm sure he'll do.

And if he does Big Finish, he's technically still the Doctor...so...

He ERASED Gareth

"You are the Doctor."
"Yep. And I always will be."

Yeh mate I hope I get to meet him again soon I'll get a new one from him later tonight he is a nice man to me and my friend and he loves it too so I am very excited about this something I would have given up on

>Cornell's a good author, but he gave his best in Love and War
He clearly hadn't blown his wad with Love and War, since Human Nature, Goth Opera, and Oh No It Isn't are all better than No Future.

How's your friend doing? The one who thinks she's pregnant with Peter's baby, yeah?

Yeh mate I hope I get to meet him in a few weeks or I'll be back on tomorrow but I'll have a good night out with my friend today but I'm still at work at night time to get a good laugh and I am still in the sweats of the gym I have to have a nice time waster lol

Everything ends. And it's always sad. But everything begins again too, and that's always happy. Be happy.

>tfw he knows he's going to die soon

Also, I have to applaud Moffat for the War Doctor and the 13th Doctor plot in Time of the Doctor.
It makes the End of Time better by justifying 10's grief. He realises that he's nearing the end of his life, not just regeneration, which is why he flips out with the "so much more!" stuff

>The one who thinks she's pregnant with Peter's baby, yeah?
What? You gotta be kidding.

youtube.com/watch?v=qWM7l9SAipg

The alternate "I don't wanna go" takes are hilarious. I kind of wish they went with the one where he's completely breaking down, streaming with tears

>tfw you and I are the only ones here knowing who Mel user is
I 'member.

>It's a little unfair to compare No Future's use of Ace to Lucifer Rising
I think it's perfectly fair when the book itself invites the comparison by doing something very similar with her.
Aside from that, I don't have a problem with New Ace's characterization here, it's as good as it ever was outside of Mortimore's books and Conundrum. I don't dislike the character, but most authors do seem to find it hard to deal with her.

Anyway, I'll be taking a break from the NAs now. The end of a big story arc seems a good time to do it.

Today I spent 5 hours masturbating to webcam models and I even donated some of them to show feet.

My favorite nu who series is 5.

AMA.

Has anyone ever gone so far as even to need more to do look more like?

Have you seen the Doctor Who porn parody?

Do you like feet because they remind you of Smith's face?

Nice.
I'd Gareth her Roberts.

>I don't dislike the character, but most authors do seem to find it hard to deal with her.
Well, yeah, the only thing I dislike about the character is that most authors found it hard to deal with her, but isn't that enough? Dozens of books by authors who clearly have talent, skill, and ideas that fit into Doctor Who all got dragged down by having to include a character they didn't know how to deal with. And No Future is one of them.

And, given that Peter Darvill-Evans himself was one of those writers who didn't know what to do with her, why did he foist the arc on everyone?

Someone more autistic than me needs to put together 12's confirmed series 10 variants, there's been a real shit load of them so far

That guy is the 13th Doctor in disguise.

Screenshot this.

One day I will be rich enough to afford pizza every day. Every fucking day.
I will eat pizza every god damn day, you hear me, who?

One day Gareth, one day.

I believe in you user.

>work hard and save up money to reach the dream of everyday pizza
>develop a sense of responsibility and restraint
>no longer want to eat pizza every day

This is what's been collected so far, there's been a few new ones revealed since

...

All I can fucking afford is
1) bread
2) porridge
3) cheap sausage
4) apples
5) rice

THAT'S IT
WHAT IS WHAT I EAT
I WANT PIZZA
I WANT PIZZA EVERY DAY
WHY THE WORLD IS SO FUCKING TERRIBLE, /WHO/?
WHY?

This man is effay as fuck

I'll literally drop the show if that little communist Maxine Peake becomes the Doctor. Terrible, terrible actress.

>Anyway, I'll be taking a break from the NAs now.
I took a break in my reread after Sky Pirates, because that book just isn't the same without the RADW flamewars about whether Dave Stone is the best new writer or the guy who ruined Who forever.

>not being glad you have enough healthy food to eat and a place to live and even fucking internet access
faggot.

>I took a break in my reread after Sky Pirates
Trying to bait Gareth to see if he's really here, are we?

At least you won't be a fatty.

>le capaldi was "wasted" because his doctor wasn't a malcom tucker clone XD

sick of this meme desu.

>>le capaldi was "wasted" because his doctor wasn't a malcom tucker clone XD
But we can all agree that Capaldi was wasted on Torchwood because his Frobisher wasn't a shapeshifting penguin, right?

Also the SHEEP red shirt needs to be added

>Le all your complaints are completely invalid because somewhere there's a child starving in Africa lmao

THICC, better than Karen t-b-h

Doctor who is fucking garbage.
It can tell any story in all of time and space and it always ends up a shitty looking celebration of mediocrity.
It's a predictable, safe formulaic children's show where the Le wacky man saves the day with some 'witty' banter and a 'clever' scheme.
The Doctor never goes anywhere in his development, just going from dark to light or dark to light depending on the incarnation.
It has no love for science or history, it just boils everything down for lowest common denominator. It's a waste of time and effort,
why don't you losers mature and watch some grown up television for a change.
You shouldn't watch doctor who unless it's with your own children but I really don't want you plebs procreating.

torchwood is so comfy

What if...
That porn actress who played the doctor in that... became the real doctor?

>healthy balance of t-shirt, buttoned shirt, different color coats and yes/no hoodie

Literally the GOATest doctor fashion. Almost everything changes yet it's still all quintessential 12

>implying Julio Pumarejo Jr. won't be the 13th

I've always assumed it was the same character, broken and more subdued after years of travelling with the Doctor

>I've always assumed it was the same character, broken and more subdued after years of travelling with the Doctor
Now I want a Big Finish box set where Frobisher gradually changes from Robert Jezek to Peter Capaldi over a series of adventures with post-Donna Ten and while-Amy-and-Rory-are-sleeping Eleven, finally pushed over the edge by an argument with River Song.

Fucking listen to this post mate . I know you're probably exaggerating but it sounds like you have no conception of how privileged you are. It's not that you're wrong for wanting some pizza but count your fucking blessings mate. Pic semi related.

So, how is it that a show called Victoria has like six people from NuWho in it, but no Deborah Watling?

Are there any Doctor who lesbian porn? like where the Doctor is female and she fucks a female companion?

>Are there any Doctor who lesbian porn? like where the Doctor is female and she fucks a female companion?
They don't really need the Doctor to be female. You may not want to see Paternoster porn, but what about Susan/Barbara, Susan/Ping-Cho, Amy/Amy-from-the-future, a threeway between Claras one of whom is a Dalek, Nyssa finally finding out how to shut up Tegan…?

Kameleon/TARDIS porn.

It's already canon, so why not?

Series 5 is my favourite too

What about K9 and the TARDIS? I never got the impression that they got on well. Like him and Mr. Smith.

GOAT frienemies

why not season 6?

Because half of the episodes are horribly forgettable and only one episode is good

I'M THE DOCTOR
DO YOU HAVE ANY MAGIC PUZZLE PIECES FOR ME

>only one episode is good
But how can that be when The Girl Who Waited and The God Complex are both good?

Neither of those are the good episode of S6

youtube.com/watch?v=HMkdwu18bOM

Remember when Class was a thing?

>What about K9 and the TARDIS?
Given the choice between the TARDIS and Leela, the TARDIS and Romana, the TARDIS and Sarah Jane, or the TARDIS and Sarah Jane again…

And in the late EDAs, K9 is deep inside the TARDIS and all he wants is to get out.

Love the amount of variants Capaldman gets, I wish every doc was like that

No.

I don't usually post here but got a question.

Did they ever explain who blew up the TARDIS and caused all the shit with the Pandorica?

The Silence apparently blew up the TARDIS, somehow. The Pandorica was built by every bad guy ever, to hold the Doctor (but could be opened with his screwdriver).

So the weird voice was just one of the silence? That's disappointing

>Did they ever explain who blew up the TARDIS and caused all the shit with the Pandorica?
Yes, sort of.

The Silence, an offshoot religious group that the Silents in S5 were only a part of, were afraid that when the Doctor was forced to speak his real name at Trenzalore, it would destroy the universe. That's why "Silence Will Fall" was all about. So they figured blowing up his TARDIS before he got there would be a good way to stop that. Except blowing up his TARDIS is what actually destroyed the universe. Bravo, Silence.

Meanwhile, the Doctor did eventually get to Trenzalore, but even though a bunch of stuff happened there, and he did reveal that his secret real name is "The Doctor", it didn't actually destroy the universe. Again, Bravo, Silence.

As for who blew it up, it's not entirely clear whether the Silents blew it up, they tampered with it so that River Song would blow it up while trying to fix it, or they tampered with River so she'd blow it up while trying to fix it, but whatever, it's their fault.

Oh yeah, and the Silence fucking everything up caused the Silence to fall, right, so at least it was a good pun? Nope, they stuck around and did other shit.

all the episodes are good in season 6, namely The Rebel Flesh, Good Man Goes To War and Doctor's Wife

except Black Spot which was shit

>all the episodes are good in season 6
Let's Kill Hitler was a pretty disappointing followup to A Good Man Goes to War after that long break.

And Night Terrors is only "pretty good for Gatiss", not actually good.

>still watching Doctor Who

Come on, really?

Ahh ok that all makes sense now, thanks

Reading and listening to it, too.

Was Cold War and the ice warrior in that Ep shit? I've forgotten

It had a sort of Bank Holiday Monday feel, the kind of Jules Verne, Edgar Rice Burroughs story of derring-do, which I've always loved.

What the hell are you trying to.say
