Our generic bears are black bears, as our brown bears are limited to small areas of the rockies and pacific northwest. They're pretty much over-grown raccoons; the most common interaction that people have with them is the bear getting into their trashcans and spreading the contents all across the yard. They're also really chill most of the time.
