Okay, I get why Obi-Wan was mad at Anakin, but what reason at all would Anakin have to be mad at Obi-Wan? When they last saw each other they were still Good Friends, yet in this scene Anakin's acting as though Obi raped his wife or something.

He shoulda been like "Yo Obi my man, fancy meeting you here! Wait, why the long face? Why are you taking out your sword? Oh...you found out about the younglings...oh...well this is awkward."

It just feels like they forced the character to pretend he hated Obi-Wan because the scene doesn't work otherwise.

From my point of view Obi Wan was a condescending cunt

that wasn't Anakin, that was Darth Vader

prequels are fucking ass cancer news at 11

I don't have much time to post this, they've almost found me
All I can say is Jar Jar is the key to everything
TO EVERYTHING! Follow the clues, trust no one
Jar Jar is the key

Seemed like there might have been some kind of implication or deleted scene where Anakin starts to think Padme was cheating on him with Obi Wan. He was absolutely pissed when he found out Obi Wan was on the ship with Padme when they landed.

I thought he thought Padme was having an affair with Obi Wan.

obi wan was fucking gay though where did he get that?

Because he's in the process of trying to convince Padme that everything he's done, he's done for her and their child when Obi Wan suddenly steps out of the ship.

Anakin's not a retard. He quickly realizes
-Obi Wan knows about Order 66 and Sidious
-The fact that Obi Wan didn't come out to talk to Anakin like Padme did shows that he knows Anakin has fallen to the dark side and Obi Wan isn't interested in bringing him back to the light
-Obi Wan is here to kill him
-Padme is helping him
And after Anakin attacked Padme in his rage, he twists it to "Obi Wan FORCED me to do that"

>Anakin's not a retard

he thought he was being keked by obi wan

What specifically does he do in the movies that's retarded?

Pretty clueless interpretation desu, he thought they were scheming behind his back not cheating on him.

got his limbs cut off and almost burned to death

Anakin doesn't trust anyone at that point.

>losing a fight makes you retarded

Wew lad

He kept buying into Sheev's bullshit about reviving the dead right after he said that he doesn't actually know, just that *maybe* they'll discover the secret.

>implying anakin had a chance against the high ground

He's emotional unstable and does a lot of stupid, reckless things. 'Retarded' is a common hyperbolical term, you literal autist.

he does everything to protect Padme and then he almost chokes her to death

It's like RedLetterMedia pointed out: Anakin was TRICKED into becoming evil

Although RLM was dead wrong about how Sheev rose to power in the political side of things

And all that stuff in their review of the first film about raised taxes being a good thing for business. Their storytelling and film making critiques are good, but the political ones are naive.

>Hmm, who could the Sith Lord be? Could it be this creepy old man who's lecturing me about how great the Sith are and trying to turn me against the Jedi? Nah, couldn't be him.

Sheev never said he could "revive the dead," he said he could prevent loved ones from dying. Is that really that outlandish in a universe where the force is a thing?

>he's retarded
>what does he do that's retarded
>a bunch of retarded stuff

Kys my man

>tfw i still can hear Jesus' voice telling the story of the Tragedy of Darth Palaguies
miss you bro :(

True

and after that he still follows him and goes to the temple to slaughter kids

>Pretty clueless interpretation
Not really. The original script (and probably some scenes that were filmed) featured a subplot where Anakin was getting suspicious about an affair between Padme and Obi-wan. Lucas ended up dropping it during shooting because he thought the plot was all over the place and it wasn't necessary.

But he left the resolution of that plot in the movie without any alteration, so it is kind of jarring. As it was shot, that scene is referring to Anakin being suspicious of an affair. The way the movie ended up, it's meant to indicate him being paranoid about them conspiring against him, but it's not much of a stretch to interpret it the other way, since that was what was originally going on.

>he said that he doesn't actually know, just that *maybe* they'll discover the secret
That's another case of Lucas changing a scene without realizing how it affected other scenes. The initial version of the Plagueis story was much more vague, and it was implied to either be strictly a legend (more than in the final version), or something that happened a very long time ago. Because of that, it was never implied Palpatine knew anything about saving the dead.

TOO SOOON??
IM TOO SOOON..
OBI-WAN YOU HAVE TO FIND US
YOU HAVE TO FIND US

"You brought him here to kill me!"
He genuinely thought Padme had Obi Wan with her to attack and kill Anakin for his deeds.

Vader was not considering either of their true positive feelings for him as he was taken over by the Dark Side and his need to destroy the Jedi was now a larger priority than the relationships he had as Anakin.

It was more of the fact that he was also having a really bad day. Don't forget those jedi were at minimum his co-workers he was feeling pretty shitty about what he'd done and his only justification was his wife and children surviving.
So when Padame was telling him he was fucking up it just made him feel worse then Obi-wan came out.

He tought he turned Padme against him

Maybe if you know all that deleted plot shit going in. Just watching the movie it's simply
>"You brought him here to kill me!"

Yeah, that's what I said. I was just pointing out that it's not crazy that some people see the scene as Anakin thinking his friend was boning Padme behind his back. Because when the scene was filmed, that's what he was talking about. The scene still works without that dropped plot stuff, but it's still visible.

>Film for babies
>Doesn't understand it
Hmm, well for one
>"YOU TURNED HER AGAINST ME?"
And two
HE WAS FUCKING DARTH VADER, HE'D GONE MAD YOU DUMB FUCKING IDIOT

He always had some negative feelings and resentment to Obi-Wan, as shown in the AoTC, along with him being used by the Jedi Council along with them disrespecting him and always treating him different, and Obi-Wan represented them in his mind.

Something about the highground
