public trackers are fine its your taste thats shit

rarbg for new ones, sometimes the piratebay
rutracker for everything else

Irc

putlocker :^)

>he's not on ptp, kg, cg, ahd, tik, teh or thc.
Lmao

rarbg

>public trackers are fine

>use public tracker
>hundreds of duplicates and hundreds of variations of a torrent
>no actual sorting or cataloging, huge clusterfuck of results
>no quality control at all
>jew lawyer spies in the swarm taking note of IPs

>use private tracker
>no duplicates and only the important variations (sd, 720, 1080, 4k and remux)
>everything is sorted, catalogued and listed correctly so you know exactly what you are getting and what version it is (directors, theatrical, criterion, anniversary etc)
>quality control, bad torrents are reported, removed and replaced

People who think public trackers are fine because they can "get it all there" don't actually know what private trackers are for.

they're just bitter they can't get in.

rarbg for ใŠใ†ในใ„ films
avistaz.to for asian films

invite me then?

Even though I've been pirating tv, movies, and porn off the internet since WinMX was new, the removal of KAT has completely crippled my non-anime torrenting. I'm ashamed of my lack of knowledge with how all this stuff really works.

>14 replies, still no /ptg/

Well,

anything for my fellow redditor

sent ;)

I use IPT.

Pros:
>incredibly rich and diverse selection of torrents
>in-house rippers and amazingly effective uploaders
>friendly and active re-seed community that will dig hi and low for a copy of your torrent if you request a re-seed on anything

Cons:
>bonus-point system could use a rework to award more points for more poorly-seeded torrents
>surprisingly elitist community and staff that come across as wanting IPT to the ONLY good private tracker
>tons of shilling with stupid lotteries and buyable bonuses for real money and all sorts of stupid shit to """encourage""" you to donate to the site (but this is still a very minor complaint as literally 100% of it disappears with a good adblocker)

>I download all my movies/tv shows/games/music/software, I wouldn't buy them anyway so it's not a lost sale
>It's all fucking overpriced, fucking jews trying to get my money
>I'm just one person, it's not like whether I pay or not makes a difference

>IF YOU DON'T SEED YOU ARE A FUCKING LEECH WHO DOESN'T DESERVE TORRENTS, IF NO ONE SEEDS THEN TORRENTS WILL DIE YOU SELFISH CUNTS

Why are private tracker autists so hypocritical?

used to be kat (rip in peace), now it's rarbg, with tpb as backup

I don't really get the private tracker madness, so far I was unable to find 2 movies on public tracker in my whole life, and neither movie something I'd have to see

I guess it would be nice to have PTP account or something, but I don't even know how to get invite other than begging on Sup Forums

don't like the looks of this guy

i know i can always count on the reddit fellow

I don't think this is a "private tracker only" phenomenon.

That being said I feel the reason people discourage not seeding so heavily is because torrents and the torrenting community essentially runs on nothing but people's good will.

If this good will is not raised above all else, they fear the community will break down.

>tfw on all top trackers, but ipt/rutracker are better

>ipt/rutracker

The "top trackers" are all at the top because they focus on very specific things, like FLACs or old games or something.

The reason the trackers you mention tend to feel better is that there's a huge overlap, meaning the "exclusive" stuff from the top trackers usually trickles down to the other trackers pretty quick.

tell me ONE private tracker that has a blu ray version of The Plague Dogs

What are some good torrent sites?

piratebay seems sketchy af

What's left of that site is a riddled mess of advertisements.

sketchy?

...

>tfw Torrentshack is no more

Last and best private tracker I used, probably stopping torrenting altogether now. Fuck begging for invites in IRC or using public shit.

Plague Dogs was released in 1982.

so?

MTV is the second best TV tracker.

I have no idea what I'm reading.

usually those last 2% are files nobody wants to download so they dont
like .txt & .nfo files

usenet

I haven't checked but I doubt THAT obscure movies from 1982 even warrant a blu ray release. And if there is no release there can be no upload.

>paying to pirate

It has never been released on bluray so nobody has it...

Maybe you are thinking of Watership down, which got a BD release.

>implying you can get anything in /ptg/

Already seen that thread, I'm good for tv shit, though. Shack was the perfect all around tracker.

seeding is for faggots so public trackers always win

although i got a good strategy for private ones where i make 10 accounts from different ip's and always switch to a new one when they get banned but it's usually not worth the trouble except with some rare torrents that you can't find elsewhere

I did that for Avistaz and got banned on all I had, desperatly waiting for a new open signup, still got some obscure asian shit I need to grab.

You sound like an entitled bitch.

Like you were castrated at an early age and was raised like a true faggot.

In a CLICK of a button you can sort/categorize most of these things out.

Are you ever a dickless wonder.

i understand private trackers are better organized, but do they really have stuff you can't find on elsewhere? i almost always find everything i want on public trackers but hey maybe i have plebs tastes

Generally, no. Almost anything you can get on most trackers is out there somewhere. The point is not to have to go looking across multiple public trackers and wading through endless shit to get it.

Though some of the more very obscure stuff though can only reliably found on trackers that specialize in them.

Private trackers are generally not for finding stuff you can't find elsewhere, they are for what I said here .

i see, missed that post, but are private trackers really more secure than public ones? (unless you download a lot of course)

It's not worth the time of the lawyer to get an account and to download popular stuff and to keep the account in good standing long enough to make any claims against IP's in the swarm. Which are generally very small in comparison to public swarms.

They can just go to any public tracker, that has freshly released content that has 10,000+ leechers and file complaints to ISP's all fucking day. And because of the low success rate (IP needs to come from a country and ISP that works with them) they need huge numbers of peers to get anything out of it.

Private trackers are too small and too hard to be remotely worth their time.

I can't download shit off public sites any more due to moving and getting a new Hitler ISP.
They're so fast on those copyrights that I got my internet cut off HALFway through downloading a 4GB movie so about 5 minutes or so after starting the download.I downloaded that same movie off a Private site and have been seeding for months without a notice
Private torrent sites are safe as hell and I haven't gotten an ISP notice since I started using them more often as well as having access to higher quality rips and Obscure films

>I only search by name
>I don't know anything about what actually makes a good file so I don't know how to look for a file that's good
