Had to make it weird? The third and fourth series are pretty enjoyable but in a different way from the first two. I like to think it was about the friendship between Cook and the skater.
personal pref I suppose. Not discounting Ef of course. There were a lot of qts in gen 2.
Cook's episodes from season 7 broke my heart and left me with the taste of vomit in my mouth.
The first episode was OK and I wouldn't be that upset if it had ended with him making a U-turn back into the city.
The second episode was like a long, protracted dump on everything that made Skins great. It completely destroyed Cook as a character.
The call-back at the end was devastatingly awful and the writing was some of the worst this series has managed to produce (and that's saying something considering some of the other later seasons.)
I'm still angry about it and wish I'd never soiled my memory of Skins with this necrophilic rapist of an episode.

I too was a child once.
Series 2 had it's shitty characters. Notably Freddie whose a shitty friend to Cook. But it's probably still my favourite cast. Not to mention the Cook Arch in Season 7 was pure kino.
Third gen can die in the fire though except for based Nick.

i just watched the 2 episodes "Pure" about Cassie in the final season 7 and i must say i wish i never have.
