You have been given many recs and you won't update it. The time has come for someone to take over as its clear you're actually a reddit horror pleb yourself
anything with a jumpscare ever
So reddit likes good movies? Huh maybe it's a better place than this shithole then
I don't even call them jumpscares anymore, I call them drumpfscares,
Contrarian
I like The Thing, Witch, Noroi, Exrocist, Babdook and Blair Witch Project
3 movies out of that list deserve their good reputation though.
I do agree with the rest.
The Shining was literally the most reddit thing I ever watched
Agree
Kys retard
is Sup Forums pretending these movies are bad now via reddit association?
Why so triggered redditor ?
OBSESSED
Explain whats so bad about The Thing or The VVitch?
This is pretty shit bait to be honest.
>hurr le triggered do I fit in yet?
Yawn
>The VVitch
not a horror movie
Not horror movies
Ironic shitposting.
How is it not a horror movie?
Fuck off
sage
You know whenever you read these posts that it's some guy who embarrassed himself in front of a girl once when he shrieked because of a jump scare
reddit has mentioned them
>Sup Forums turning against The Thing
I predicted it long ago in Alien threads. After Aliens the next in line to hate will be either Alien or The Thing.
>jumpscares are goood
Now that's just retarded.
>Muh jumpscares are ebil
You know the thing and Hitchcock used jumpscares, right? They're not bad in and of themselves, its all about set up and context.
Agreed. Cheap jumpscares suck but with proper buildup they can be great. Although I hate it when a jumpscare has loud music or noises. Good jumpscare can scare you without using excessive noise to make you jump.
Yes horror movies need to be scary, yes jump scares are scary, yes 'muh psychological horror' is reddit pseudo-drama garbage
Lowtier b8 from tourists. Ignore it and move along.
It's obvious that everybody hates the 2000s version of jumpscares. It was the dark age of horrors.
Go back redditor
So this is the power of autism
it's as reddit friendly as jumpscares
please go back at any time
Insidious 1/2/3
Conjuring 2
Sinister
Paranormal Activity (all)
Any US remake of a jap horror film
Those are normie core. We are talking about reddit horror here
People like them
The word reddit no longer has any meaning, does it?
>theres a difference
fuck off
All redditors are normies, but not all normies are redditors
John Carpenter is one of reddit's biggest heroes. Anything from what is widely considered his "good" era is reddit.
What is reddit about halloween
>everything that's popular is bad and therefore reddit
You don't realise it, but you yourself are the absolute epitome of everything wrong with an average redditor's attitude.

youtube.com
most of the movies in that image are pretty damn good
is this bait?
It's reddit horro
It is. It just lacks jumpscares. This confuses and enrages plebs.
The Exorcism of Emily Rose
If a horror movie fails at being scary it's not a horror movie
reddit means bad. Stop pretending you don't get this. Nobody cares about a fucking website holy shit
Sup Forums cares an awful lot about reddit it seems
Memes aside, is Cabin in the Woods worth a watch?
>inb4 reddit
no, it's metashit.
that's what I figured
Just watch the original Evil Dead again
I dunno about reddit, but anyone with the opinion that 'psychologocal horror' (aka thrillers) are the best type of horror are usually tryhard plebs.
Just because Reddit like Thing, BWP and Witch doesnt make them reddit movies. Cabin in the Woods is as reddit as it gets though, theres so much snark and wink nudge bullshit. Its a decent premise too but its insistent irony kills it.
What's a scary horror movie then?
