ALWAYS LOOK ON THE BRIIIGHT, SIDE OF LIFE

If you actually read the bible you'd know Romans werent even involved

Woe upon you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites that swallow up the property of widows, under cover of your long prayers; your sentence will be all the heavier for that. Woe upon you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites that encompass sea and land to gain a single proselyte, and then make the proselyte twice as worthy of damnation as yourselves. Woe upon you, blind leaders, who say, If a man swears by the temple, it goes for nothing; if he swears by the gold in the temple, his oath stands.

this is actually correct. if you know the story you know that it's the jews that demanded his sentencing and death. didnt the jews kinda blackmail the romans into convicting him? im fuzzy on the details

These doubles confirm.

Jesus of Nazareth, I'm SPQR.

pic related shows how things basically went down

Romans were literally just doing their job since they largely only performed punishments as harsh as crucifixion for actions, so the general idea is Jesus must have been up to something that would have actually constituted sedition or even rebellion. It's pretty likely since the Galilee in the first century CE.

It's pretty likely since the Galilee in the first century CE was essentially the headquarters for anti-Roman activists in Judea.

Only correct answers.

It is an easy answer (always has been), but incorrect.

The only parties allowed to crucify in Roman controlled territories were Romans.

Beyond that, the Jewish procedure for a death sentence was by stoning. This was usually only reserved for non-Jews entering Jewish temples.
>thinks the Bible is a legitimate historical source

Matthew 26
>50 And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him.
>51 And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear.
>52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.
>53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
>54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?
The scriptural answer is yes

The Heebs.

Those that say they are jews and are not

They are expecting a messiah, but they rejected Jesus because he didn't take the form of a big powerful king who would deliver them from the romans. Jesus first coming was as a humble servant who was born in a barn.
They also reject Jesus because they're expecting their own righteousness to get them into heaven, when in reality everyone has transgressed against the Law, and everyone needs a savior.
