>TFW the entire show is one prolonged Trump skit

I really don't get this M.E.M.E

I legitimately enjoyed the Melissa McCarthy one on Sean Spicer. But to go ahead and say it's the best SNL skit ever? No.

nobody watches it how would we know?

It's not even really that good of an impression it's just funny because you know Trump is assblasted for days afterwards.

Remember when Baldwin was a serious actor?

It's the best it's been for a while, but it's still not great.

>t. trump

Remember when Baldwin called his teen daughter a fat pig?

It's gotten better definitely. Not the best tho.

Still, that Sean Spicer skit is the best thing they've done in years. Fucking killed me. Ive watched it like 10 times.

Baldwins Trump is also great. It's not a dead-on impression, but it's a great caricature and you just know that it makes Trump lose his shit every time. Depicting Bannon as the literal grim reaper is fucking hilarious as well. The old school sci-fi monster music that plays when he enters is perfect.

>mfw people try to say Trump is a tough guy when he gets butthurt over SNL making fun of him.

Watch his Comedy Central roast, or Obama roasting the fuck out of him at the Correspondent's dinner from a few years back. Dudde literally cannot handle anybody making a joke about him.

Kate McKinnon as Conway is probably the best part of the Trump skits.

>you're a rude, thoughtless little pig
>You don't have the brains or the decency as a human being.
>you better be ready, pig
>I don't give a damn that you're 12 years old, or 11 years old, or that you're a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the ass who doesn't care about what you do as far as I'm concerned
t. the Donald

t. fag with a terrible sense of humor

funniest? no.
cringiest? maybe.

yeah I mean the regular cast is really shining
everyone is buzzing about their imitation of reporter #1 or reporter #2

The show gets less views than pewdiepie on youtube.

kek

>muh SNL

Like the live show, or the posted youtube clips? Live shows don't get as many views as popular youtube videos, and the youtube clips are only available in the USA

Weekend Update is the best its been in 20 years.

Everything else is good but not great.

>parents and older relatives talk about how they used to have "SNL Parties" where they went to eachother's houses and watched SNL at night
>watch older SNL, some of it's funny
>almost nothing in twenty years has made me actually laugh
>they're getting even more partisan than ever, with less reliance on jokes or gags and more on insulting political opposition

I dunno I don't like comedy in general but I think SNL is one of the most overrated tv shows ever.

SNL hasn't been funny in a very long time, but I will say the makeup is strong and Alec Baldwin slips pretty comfortably into Trump's mannerisms.

The material is utter trash sadly.

Reminder that it's literally the most watched season in 22 years.

I voted for Trump and I thought the Spicer one was kind of funny

I still love my man Spicey though hes a trooper and dresses up in Gundam cosplay so hes /ourguy/

DUDE FUNNY WIG LMAO

>american satire

>I want to fuck my daughter

t. trump

I sincerely hope they do a Trump impression every week for the next 4 years so that Trump eventually has a meltdown and holds a press conference screaming about how bad SNL is. That stupid faggot has no idea what he's doing

I found the melissa mccarthy/sean spicer thing kinda funny but it's hard to find anything about a trump parody funny, The guy is beyond parody at this point there is nothing they could possibly do or say that is more hilarious than the man himself

Only legitimately funny Trump portrayal I've seen so far is the one in the comedy central Trump V Sanders debate

>hating on trump is a popular meme
>snl picking at low hanging fruit

Its pretty much like what all the late night talk shows have been doing for the last half year.

>haha late night comedy reaffirms my belief that donald trump is a doofus haha so funny

Don't forget the plethora of homophobic rants, not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just incredibly ironic and shows you hoe desperate the left are to cling onto someone as a coping mechanism

wow snl is such great comedy, the jokes are so subtle and nuanced.
not really i was being sarcastic
and when i say jokes i mean 'jokes'
watching snl really explains a lot about america i guess so its useful at least.

Comedy is dead

are they really going to rely on Trump impersonations being funny for the next 4-8 years?

I dont think anyone is going to care about them 6 months from now

>implying hating on DJT is anything new.

People have been shitting on Trump for like 30 years.

SNL has always been awful, from day fucking one.

Yes but it has never had as much saturation as it does now.

>Every late night comedy show
>Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump......
>Is Orange
>*Audience roars with laughter while their ratings sink*

Give it a rest already, you think they would have learned their lesson when this shit got him elected in the first place.

You would think they would make fun of Hillary or Obama or any democrat because they lost so badly and acted like babies and no one else is doing it making it ripe for the picking but no let's oversaturate the market with Trump cuz that worked so good before.

Will Liberals ever learn to be subtle?

You're either 2 days early or 5 days late, shitl

Honestly didn't know anyone watched SNL

I'm not sure this comic can really complain about Strawmanning.

Making fun of the president is basically one of the five pillars of late night comedy though. It's never going to go away.

They don't call him orange though?

Which is funny since this season has the best ratings of the past 20 years

Conan's Obama/Trump phonecall bits are funny, SNL still isn't

It's therapy for butthurt liberals.

that isnt saying much

>It's never going to go away.
Except when the asshat in the White House has a (D) next to their name.

kek (((ratings))). Give up the ghost already. MSM is dead. This nonsense doesn't work anymore.

They made fun of clinton plenty.

Reminder that every celebrity who is making fun of Trump cried themselves to sleep the night of the election

youtube.com/watch?v=zT0Rjc6jKCg

>(((ratings)))
it's science goy

I don't understand parodying Trump. He is a living caricature; he is seriously the funniest dude alive. His mannerisms and expressions are just so over the top and blow me away. Did no one watch the apprentice? Never once in my life did I watch a presidential debate or speech until this man. Parodying him is like making a spoof of the scary movie series. Watching him makes me laugh; watching this dude (or other people try) imitate is just bad.

Normies don't realize Trump is the ultimate meme. His first official act as POTUS was baneposting.

How embarassing

Agreed. Never found much of it funny at all. The old jeopardy I remember enjoying. I always preferred mad tv

I guess it's good for you that your life is so miserable that you actually enjoy watching snl, that is unless if this is just b8

Underage retards (like most of this board) wasn't even alive for Clinton's presidency.

Sure, I'm not saying don't do it at all. I'm saying everyone is doing it non stop and it stopped being funny awhile ago around the time he got elected it back fired so badly. If your going to do it you have to be subtle which they clearly are not.

We gotta to remember Hillary Clinton fucking almost died on camera and no one made fun of it.Imagine for a sec if that happened to Trump they would run with it for months. She also held a big speech about a green cartoon frog meme while Trump did a speech about a better deal for African Americans. Switch the rolls how much do you think they would make fun of him for that? They would call him delusional and a child and say Hillary is the adult in the room.

How about Obama's teleprompter glitching up and him saying the words If and okie dok a million times. If it happened to Trump they would never stop making fun of that.

Now they should keep using the things he does as material but they should carve out some time for literally anything else at this point.

look at all these butthurt white people ITT

...

>We gotta to remember Hillary Clinton fucking almost died on camera and no one made fun of it
People made fun of Hilary for being out of touch and her history of not being as progressive as she is now.

As far as SNL goes, there were far more Hilary sketches than Trump sketches

This

They did make fun of Bill and Norm McDonald made fun of Hillary Clinton a lot. But that was when SNL was funny... Over 20 years ago.

>tfw when you diversify your cast to the point where no one has any talent so you have to bring in celebrities to do impressions

Not as bad as the butthurt liberals who had to riot because they didn't get their way

Baldwin's Trump impression is awful. He just puts on a blonde wig and makes a stupid face.

McCarthy's Sean Spicer bit is pretty good tho.

>Sooo, Donald Trump...

American """""""""C O M E D Y ~~~""""""""", everyone.

>He just puts on a blonde wig and makes a stupid face.
So does trump

ITT: people, who shouldn't be mad because they won the election, can't handle the bantz

HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHA

11.1/10 COMODY GULD

An obese woman dressed up as a man yelling at the camera is funny now?

It is when it perfectly satirizes how ridiculous Sean Spicer is.

Every week, the manchild president and his followers are getting more triggered by it.

I hope they carry it on forever.

Bullshit.

Also when they included Hillary in a sketch she is always portrayed in a good way likes she's the adult in the room. Like when they did the debate spoofs.

>Moderator ask Trump a question about national security
>*Alec Baldwin autistic screeching*
>Some sort of low blow insult aimed at Hillary
>Ms Clinton would you like to respond?
>*This my fight song starts playing*
>Well Donald thank god I'm gonna be President look at these polls
>*Alec Baldwin autistic screeching*

She is always portrayed as smart well spoken and of course in a winning light

He was portrayed in every skit as dumb misinformed obnoxious and childish and of course a loser.

Compare and contrast that with some of the Norm McDonald sketchs he use to do about Hillary.

>the pinkos are upset because their Queen Cunt lost
>they cry on internet, TV, newspapers and on the streets
>they literally assault people
>we laugh at them and their snowflake tantrums
>somehow we're the ones being triggered

I know logic and common sense were never libshits' strong side, but c'mon now.

Wow, did you even watch the sketches you're cricticizing?

Constant jokes were had at Hillary's expense with Kat's portrayal nailing her shitty attempts to seem nice, hip, cool or relatable. Down to every annoying quirk she has.

Here is some Norm MacDonald for some reference.

m.youtube.com/watch?v=Xnw8JRpXdAc

You're right that Trump and Trumptards have no reason to be triggered, but there's no denying they are.

>mic drop

Delude yourself as much as you want to cope, but don't pass your delusions off as facts

>pointing out at other people's triggering = being triggered

This. It's not even good. What's actually good is the resulting asspain.

No delusions, I'm not even American.

Posts like these:
And these:
Are people being triggered.

>Wow, did you even watch the sketches you're cricticizing?

Did anyone? I watched it the first time they did it and it was exactly as I described above. And seen little snippets here and there also exactly as I described above. I'm not going to tune in on every episode of a show I hate and that stopped being funny 10 years ago.

>mfw the funniest person on SNL right now is the fat guy from Keenan and Kel

Yeah, in other words, you're blinded and don't remember how much Clinton was mocked from the beginning of those political sketches.

>Being this mad

Oh, and this one:
If you don't think the post above is a triggered trumptard (or someone false-flagging one), then you're the delusional ones.

it's at the point where even if it was funny, snl has failed for so long I still wouldn't watch it. kinda like the simpsons

Simply mocking Trump and the administration doesn't make this the best of SNL. The 80's 90's was so much better. When was the last time you heard anyone talk about the non-political skits? Nothing from SNL has been iconic for a long time.

I voted for Trump and agree with just about everything he's done so far and I think SNL the last few weeks has been hilarious.

People need to learn to take a joke.

It's the funniest it's been for a while

But it's been garbage since the mid-90s

In comedy you punch up not down. The fact that trump has literally compared america to a bully and openly advocated the US stealing the oil of nations we have invaded makes him a prime target for comedy.

And , trump is a lolcow

>attempt a bad joke
>get called out on it
>whooaaa all these people must be triggered by jokes about trump

It must be a blessing to be gifted with this much ignorance

>I believe in protecting groups of people from jokes

Donald Trump actually watches it though. Other people, not so much.

I'm watching this at the moment cause of an user above
youtube.com/watch?v=8Poi5x0E2CM

I'm fucking dying

>(((comedians))) are back to muh oil now that we have another Republican president
>same (((comedians))) didn't care about Obama bombing the brown people with oil

nope, completely missed it. "punching up" in comedy is an actual term look it up.

Thats why I said "openly." Obama never actually said what he was doing, trump is actually saying we should had stolen the oil.

>Trump and his faggot supporters actually expected everybody who hated him to bend the knee and start worshipping him afterwards.

Nah, not all of us are so desperate for validation.
