The bias in favor of women in hiring is no secret. Stupid HR cunts like to hire other cunts, and old rich dudes like to hire attractive women.
Back when it was recruiting time at my university, every. single. girl. got a job, most immediately and with multiple offers to bid against each other. This despite the fact that some of them did not even meet the minimum GPA requirements.
Meanwhile tons of guys with better GPAs and better research and everything went unhired, and even the few who got jobs only got them after a long, strung out process, rather than getting offers immediately in the first interview as most girls.

I have another theory
They "masked the participants' voices" so that women would sound like men and vice versa. But men and women also have different intonations and mannerisms in speech, so even if they made a woman's voice sound lower, it would still sound vaguely "girly." The result is that the interviewers would think they're talking to a flamboyant gay man or a tranny. No one wants to hire one of those.

This. When I was doing database shit I did some work for a start up tech company and the back end engineers were some of the thirstiest betas I have ever met. Also they are usually insufferable white knights which only makes the situation worse for them.
I actually wouldn't mind being a stay at home dad. By which I mean, adventure dad. I would take my kids throughout the wilderness and teach them to fish, hike, build their own fires and shelters, and make traps for game.
