I can trace my ancestry back to Min but my father's family isn't pure Han compared to my mother's.

I agree that western science and as well as other stuffs is superior, but what wrong with studying traditional ideas? It not like we will stop learning from the west if we do. Communism, a western idea that harmed China more than Japan did in WW2. Modern China is a extremely materialistic capitalist society that lack empathy and compassion, that happened because we abandoned many traditional values due to the Cultural Revolution. Korea who some what face similar issues is trying to counter this by reviving Confucius's values in Korean (pic related). Not all western ideas is good and not all of our traditional values is good as well, but sometime it is better to look back to our ancestors.

Democracy and Western modernity doesnt work as great as everyone inside the wall thinks it does.
Gommunism was pretty good for China, since it ended their anti-militarist and passive mindset they had since the Song-dynasty. That mindset is still alive on Taiwan, which is why they suck so much, giving more of a fuck about celeb scandals than pressing questions of economy - until their elites all move to China to emigrate.
Chinese values that are good that need to be furthered:
- collectivistic mindset
- loyalty to the civilization-state
- high status of education
- ambitious leaders that want to conquer everything (Qin, Han, Three Kingdom era values, afterwards pacifist isolationalist shit took over)
- no concept of any metaphysical god
Chinese values that are shit that need to be crushed:
- extreme pacifism
- extreme greed and "jewish culture"
- disorder and extreme individualism bordering on anarchy
- extreme superstition
Communist/Western values that needs to be instilled:
- unity of purpose
- solidarity
- revolutionary spirit
- aggression and violence, but directed exclusively to the outside and not against each other
- nationalism
- believing in rationality
- atheism and worshipping science
- worshipping technology, the power of man and its ambitions
Western values that need to be kept out:
- democracy
- western liberalism
- post-modernism
- "social justice"
- "gender justice"
- depravity and degeneration
