I want a Dodgers vs. Angels WS. They're both of my teams so I wouldn't lose.
CHOO CHOO

Rangers Rants! @RangersRantsBot
Rangers Rants! Retweeted Baseball Reference
The Rangers are drawing 866 more fans/game than the lowly Astros this year! Houston will always be the puny little brother! Hahahaha
>FAGSTROS BTFO
Its nice that Mexico/Louisiana's team won a WS though
FREEWAY SERIES WORLD SERIES
Your franchise is an embarrassment for running out Terry Collins like that. You are the biggest joke in the NL East and that includes the Barves and Phillies.
>KC: Red Sox expected to target Hosmer this winter
Does this mean they aren't prioritizing Martinez? Interesting.
Its nice that the first underwater city got a championship though. Houston is such a fucking shithole.
2 million people showed up to the Astros parade.
With 2.303 Million population in Houston and 6 million in greater Houston area that would be like ~30% of greater Houston and ~90% of Houston.
>flyover cuck seething that he doesn't have two teams to cheer for at will.
Someone is cranky.
Jesus Christ imagine being this fucking assblasted
>BAJP taking off his trip and pretending he doesn't live in the heart of flyover country
I think things have a real probability of getting ugly in Queens for the second year in a row. Very shallow roster, fringey defense, weak lineup.
Injuns of Land of Cleve, 2029 World Series Champs, maybe
Why should I be mad, my team has at least won a Series since the Regan Administration.
Why are Rangers fans so salty?
POST CURRENT MOOD
youtu.be
I only root for teams of one city, Los Angeles. I'm not a coward who doesn't root for his crosstown """rivals""" like him. Dodgers, Angels, I cheer for whoever wins more.
It's cool that Atlantis got a WS trophy
Ok guys, let's be serious here, when is it the Padres turn?
Where's this 2 million number coming from?
This thread can be your safe space. You can be cranky here, it's okay.
do they still make good music? they used to
Rangers fans, what say you?
That's it baby.
The Rangers would have two rings if not for umpball. We didn't get a rigged ring because of a little rain storm, you pussy ass faggots. And last time I checked 2 > 1.
>not being #TeamCHINITO
kys fampai
I feel that way about the Astros and the Rangers. Texas cup when?
How many people would die in a Dodgers/Giants NLCS? Last two digits confirm
literally impossible as of 2011 m8
>a fucking WWF belt
Keep in mind it's on a friday so it's likely a lot of people still had work
You saw the bullpen terrorist.
Imagine that but 100x
>Keep in mind it's on a friday so it's likely a lot of people still had work
This is true.
Houston Independent School District cancelled school so it's practically a holiday for kids.
I want to see this if only for an all out gang war/riot.
>November 3rd is officially Houston Astros day
I want to see this at least once in my life
...
youtube.com
Now that the dust has settled, how do you think this year was? I'm really glad they started the video off with Genett's home run cycle.
I think last three digits is more realistic. It might be the first NLCS that would have to be played in an empty stadium
It was actually the grand slam cycle he hit for, not the home run cycle
>NOVEMBER 3RD IS HOUSTON ASTROS DAY IN TEXAS
Thoughts, Rangers fans??
Yeah. We're happy we don't live in a shithole like Houston.
...
2 > 1
We have more pennants in the AL than you, little brother.
>nothing at all about the burger cycle
Weak
1 AL, 1 NL, 1 World Series > 2 AL pennants
We have more Texas holidays than you, big brother.
WEW
Just remember HouSpics, the Rangers are Texas's most important team.
we've played in the AL for six years
>Josh Reddick
I love this guy, idgaf if he wasn't able to do much during the WS.
Dodger fan here.
Now I don't know too much about baseball but I'm still trying to wrap my head around the Darvish trade. I know the Tigers wanted more for Verlander and picking him up would have hurt our chances in the future but why pick up a guy who hasn't pitched on the big stage and who had a very poor outing a month or so before picking him up versus a guy who has played in the world series and who has proven time and time again that he can pitch in the clutch and has electric stuff even despite his age.
Just why?
>Houston, we don't have a problem
>We have a Championship
SOMEONE PUT THAT ON A POSTER RIGHT FUCKING NOW
5 Cowboys rings, 1 Stars cup, 1 Mavs title, 2 Rangers pennants >>> 1 Astros WS, 2 Rockets titles
Catch up, little brother.
>November 3rd canonized as Houston Astros day in both Houston and Texas by Mayor Sylvester Turner and Governer Greg Abbott
>tfw your team is only shown because your pitcher chimped out and somebody walk off homered for the cycle off of you
>caring about protestegg
No kneeling in baseball
Note that the Governor didn't say November 3, 2017
He said NOVEMBER THIRD.
WE ANNUAL STATE HOLIDAY NOW
Houstonians are pathetic.
At least the Cowboys have 16 home games. Enjoy your Spic ball
>not caring about the best sport on earth
Stick to luckswing, or at least until MY Rangers win the Series.
>WE ANNUAL STATE HOLIDAY NOW
>Caring about the most unpatriotic sport in the United States of America
Might as well call yourself a communist
Kiss the rings, loser. That's 7 to 3.
But baseball is the most communist sport
> Defensive improvement at short
> Two All-Star caliber outfielders
> Rotation is still there
>loser
That sweet Mets delusion. Watching your season be effectively over in June while Daniel Murphy comes to town and lights you up will surely be entertaining.
Daily reminder that seeing the Dodgers losing the WS is equivalent to winning the WS for Giants fans
Los Angeles didn't want to assume Verlander's contract. They are way over the luxury tax threshold.

>Indians pick up 2018 options for Brantley and Tomlin
I sort of understand Tomlin. A reliable veteran arm in the rotation. What I don't get is Brantley, especially after it has already been determined that he is having surgery again and will be out 5-6 months. It also hurts their chances of bringing Santana back. I'm not on the BRUUUUUUUUCE train simply because he will be priced out of their range. Regardless of his statements of how he loved Tito and playing in Cleveland, he is definitely out.
Wait?
Houston has a baseball team?
The Cleveland Indians choke in the postseason.
>reddit and fiers have rings
They mean nothing now.
If you werent active roster you shouldn't get a ring. Reddit shouldn't get a ring because he almost lost the 'stros everything
Baseball is purely American.
Castro BTFO himself the moment he put on that glove
Brantley hit well when he played this year and he doesn't come with any long-term money attached. I think that's pretty much the motivation right there along with getting a right-handed bat in the OF. As far as their Santana chances go, I guess it depends on what the Indians max payroll limit is.
They could also trade Kipnis and replace him with Yandy Diaz. Or they could just use Diaz to replace Santana. And you're right about Bruce; he is going to whoever pays him the most.
>2 million people showed up to the Astros parade
What % were White? 80%?
>Josh Reddick isn't active roster
>Josh Reddick didn't make quality defensive plays
I don't care if he didn't produce offensively like i'd wanted in the post-season. He did excellent during regular season and Springer, Altuve, Gattis, Gonzalez all activated when they were needed.
A Dodger parade would've had 5-6 million people at least.
Too bad they choked like usual lmao
A.J. Hinch is the worst manager to win a World Series, just like the Lastros are the worst team to win one.
...
>not John Farrell
Daily reminder that losing the NLDS and then hiring a new manager is the equivalent of winning a playoff series for Nationals fans.
Good God who is she?
the 2006 Cardinals are objectively the WOAT World Series winners. They won 83 games ffs
>not Bruce Bochy
>not the 2010, 2012, 2014 Flukeshits
It is if Baker is the manager
>>la radio

Say you have an outfielder who does amazing all season, but gets traded away at last minute. His original team wins WS. Does OFer get the ring?
He was instrumental in getting the team there, but you can't devalue the ring by giving out more of them.
In my autistic opinion: Managers + Active Roster + 3 Managers Choice
You wish. Reminder that watching the Giants win 3 rings in 6 years is equivalent to winning the World Series for Dodgers fans.
