FLYNN
AM I TO CREATE THE PERFECT SYSTEM?
FLYNN
AM I TO CREATE THE PERFECT SYSTEM?
.....YEAH
>tfw ywn see legacy on the big screen again
True eye and ear kino.
>this died for capeshit
>Fun action scenes
>Great OST
>Decent story and characters
>Follows up to the original nicely
>Doesn't sequel bait in the ending in case of a nonexistent third film
Why did this get shit on in 2010? This was Disney kino
It took 28 years for Tron to evolve from it's Cinema origins into the Kino of Tron Legacy. We just need to wait another 21 years for Tron to take the next stage of its evolution into the Überkino.
>tfw no iso gf
>No Tron 3
People couldn't take the Valley Uncanny
she is my jawfu
Fuck this hits hard

post yfw this scene
Chills everytime
...
I feel bad for not watching the original Tron.
I'm not asking if it aged well, because it obviously didn't, but is it worth it? Should I watch it after Legacy?
Watch it before
Legacy is much better but no harm watching the first its just rather dull
........yeeeeeaaaahh
Fuck you for reminding me TR3N is never gonna happen.
Fuck Disney. Fuck Star Wars. Fuck Lucasfilm.
I'd mount that ISO with my DaemonTool if you know what I mean...
but now you get Star Wars every year, yaaaay
>You're in the End of line and this guy derezzed your girlfriend's ass.
What do?
FOR JEW

It's old timey Disney, but depends on your mood it can be breddy comfy.
>dat muzzik
>dat Sheen channeling CyberBowie
>dat everything

It's dull. Every action scene is a lost opportunity.
its literally kino.
I dont see the visual effects as "dated" because theyre done in a fashion similar to classic b&w films like Metropolis

The soundtrack made the movie
>Flynn comes in
>Yeezus starts playing
The original Tron is superior. Just compare that scene to this one:
My first girlfriend took me to see in in the theater. I liked Legacy a lot. Only thing that really bugged me is that they made the grid too "lifelike" for my taste. As in, in the original move stuff could happen without any regard for how it worked in real life. But in the new movie you had rain, engines, moving parts, etc. Not just imaginary computer shit.
i think the implication was that the more realistic stuff was a natural evolution of the grid, and the synthetic bars and arenas were flynn's "perfect" creation
lel
I get that view of it. For me some of it just seemed like they were trying to hard to make it cool.
You're inside a computer. Vehicles don't need exhaust or brakes to work. I liked the otherwordliness of the original.
This looks realer than real life
