considering the fact that the finale was devoted to condemning the morality of the characters, I'd say no

I don't think so, it's more of a matter of having a new plot every episode and how each of the main cast interacts with a temporary character with a quirk. The lack of general continuity between most episodes helped with that. If Jason Bateman's character had a new girlfriend every couple episodes in that it'd feel a lot weirder.

why not just say partners?

it's the main part of the show that they can't get along with people over tiny things and that's why they break up relationships

honestly i'm surrpised there were only 73 girlfriends for jerry. it felt like he had a new girlfriend every week. george had susan and elaine had puddy but jerry never had a long term girlfriend.

yeah it's just the nature of sitcoms.

Not good for comedy to have them date 2-3 people over 9 seasons.

Also aren't they almost always after something serious when they date?
Not like they're aiming for casual sex as far as I remember.

Seinfeld ruined America :^)

No, it just showed what dating is like in NYC.

he had a wife.

Can someone give me the run down on this guy?

he was engaged. she was in like 2 episodes though.

Rolling for jerry

He killed himself because he's a bitch.

Just like Hunter S. Thompson.

>its a genY pleb asks stupid questions because they dont know how much fucking there was everywhere until about 1982 episode..

youtube.com/watch?v=blnnQMEAfo8

he's a good good american writer, yeah.

What happened in 1982?

No why would the jews do that?

>Did Seinfeld glorify casual sex?
>glorify

The Hiv, my youngling.

Excellent writer who struggled with depression (or something similar, I don't remember) and ultimately killed himself. He believed that irony and postmodern culture were toxic and basically eroding real human sincerity and emotion. Television was sort of the epicenter of this in his opinion with stupid shit sitcoms like Seinfeld (also things like Family Guy, South Park etc...) where the characters are utterly irredeemable stereotypes and have no real human qualities or interactions to speak of.

OP's mom got pregnant and the fuck fest stopped.

Gay Men's Disease got renamed youngling

This is top secret but they do that because *gasp* that's what they do! They have causal sex and don't think it's a big deal

Shocker

Seinfeld takes place in the 90s

>Jason Bateman

They normalised it.

Of course, degenerate jews.

how did George get 63 and I have none

i think he was trying to say micheal bluth having a new girlfriend every two or three episodes would be weird in arrested development because despite it being a sitcom it had strict continuity.

why would you save a memefrog thumbnail r/the_donald?

Jerry didn't have many gfs during the first few seasons because irl Jerry was a bit uncomfortable about having to do that onscreen at first.

>how did George get 63 and I have none
He tried different things.

Is going out with someone a couple times considered gf status? Should really just say sexual partners.

I HATE HOW CASUAL IT IS IN SITCOMS TO HAVE SO MANY GFS AND PARTNERS

Elaine 73, Jerry 50, Kramer, 62, George 27

i haven't read any of his shit, just have some surface knowledge of post modern irony. did he really think seinfeld was detrimental to society? literally who the fuck cares if they're ironic without redeemable qualties? they're works of fiction, not meant to represent real life, that being said if you're not some happy go-lucky pleb the characters from seinfeld are actually pretty relatable and the whole point of the show is that they're heavily flawed. there's a reason why it's so influential. but like i said i don't know what exactly DFW is digging at here.

Yes, this would be presented as a flaw in an unsympathetic character and a virtue in an attractive one.

right, but that wasn't the point. the point was that the characters in seinfeld had a very high number of partners because most episodes ran on gags about very specific quirks people had, so a new love interest had to be introduced to mock said quirk. this worked well for seinfeld because it's episodes are usually fairly independent of each other.

that said, what you say is true, attractive characters can get away with many things, on tv and in real life.

>did he really think seinfeld was detrimental to society?
Are you capable of reading the explicit meaning of sentences without inventing shit to argue against?

well they live in NYC, where there's people everyone and it'd be easy to meet qts. in addition they actually go outside unlike you

I LIVE IN NYC BORN AND RAISED

...

Which of the three main men is our guy? I'm inclined to believe we're a mix of them all

but... do you go outside?

be like george. he is fearless. just goes right up and hits on every girl he sees. theres 9000000 people in NYC, you dont have to worry about seeing anyone again if you fuck up

his one famous novel didn't earn its length and is worshiped by his fanboys who have fetishized the material in an ironic twist that may or may not reflect his original intention in producing the work; he had an obsession with acronyms and in a culture-wide spasm of dovetailing is now referred to as DFW.

Ive had sex with 6 different girls iny life I have run into them all again on at least 2 different boroughs

I always found it totally unbelievable that George (or in Curb, Larry) could find so many beautiful women who were attracted or willing to sleep with them.

Is this completely unrealistic or can anyone with enough hutzpah get laid?

you remember them because you had sex with them. if you had gone and asked them out and gotten rejected you wouldnt remember them past 2 weeks

like i said don't know what his position is, and would like to be informed

Underrated

>A bald short fat guy can get 50 girlfriends and I cant get one

IT'S JUST NOT FAIR

larry is rich and successful though, so he's bound to get some.

He didn't say that Seinfeld was detrimental, he argued that postmodern irony (the inability to take things seriously or to have meaningful discourse; i.e. the idea that it is shameful to express sincerity of emotion) was detrimental. Seinfeld and the like were simply manifestations of that sentiment

Imagine having 50 dicks in you. :/

thank you, in what text does he talk about this?

I'm totally an Elaine though

watched s1e1
can't imagine wtf do you like on this crap

>Not good for comedy to have them date 2-3 people over 9 seasons.

>implying TBBT is bad

imagine putting your dick/face in that slit which had 50 dicks ejaculating in it

Infinite jest

In various essays and interviews. Here's a good video on the topic:

youtube.com/watch?v=2doZROwdte4

my God, all the germs, and stds lurking in there ready to jump on your dick.
I know this dude that fucks whores when not fucking he's gf and passed her chlamydia and shit.
Poor girl doesn't even know she's carrying the stds of at least 1000 dicks of sleaze balls in her. She has a little piece of them inside her growing and replicating for life.

Jews are the synagogue of Satan. Of course they'd push this filth, anything to degrade Holy Matrimony. The only acceptable numbers of lifetime sexual partners are 1 and 0. Binary.

Imagine being such an insecure cuck that you can't help but think about all the other dudes with bigger dicks and better sex skills than you instead of focussing on fucking a hot wet slut.

Casual sex has always been a thing

imagine kissing a mouth which has had dead organic matter chewed in it over 20,000 times. wouldn't it be disgusting?

George has a job and he goes out.

i think we can all guess what your lifetime partner count is Sup Forumstard

Tfw epiphany

>George has a job
He doesn't for like two and a half seasons.

...

imagine trying to produce a show in 2017 where you have 70+ girlfriends and they're all white. people would riot.

i forgot skyler was one of his gf's. i wonder if she was as much a cunt on the show as she was in breaking bad.

also what the fuck is with the uggo in 4 across 4 down? what did he see in her?

the uggo was some hot chick from school when they were kids and they met up when they were adults and time had not been kind to her.

where is skylar?

7 across 2 down

fugg never knew that was her

When you put all the white girls side by side like that, you can really see how bland they all are. I mean, I know it's kind of a poor stereotype to call white people vanilla. But, fuck, these are some of the most vanilla women I've seen. And it's not just their faces, but also the fashion. 90's white fashion was super boring too.

GIRL WITH FUNGUS CAT A BEST!!!

I found it unbelievable any of them had over 10 relationships over the series.

Kramer and George are in no way attractive or good looking. George is a giant asshole and Kramer is weird as shit how do they attract that many women.

Jerry you could argue hes a popular stand up that gets on TV a few times but 73 is still an absurd number.

Who is the bigger Don Juan? This list is incomplete by the way, as it's missing S9.

Missing arguably best girl.

I liked the gymnast the best

I literally would not fuck any of these people.

fuck off normalcunt

It also helps in those cases that Seinfeld has no clear time lapse between its episodes in most cases, these new flings can be as much as months apart.

how could such a comfy show have such a fucking horrible lead.

...

I like his reports on the porn industry shows in las vegas

George laying pipe

and all of those characters were shown in a poor light

>George
>balding fat manlet
>62 women
how

He is unemployed and lives with his parents

>Jerry never dated a black girl
hrmmmm

He wrote a really great article about Roger Federer and tennis.

Neither did anyone in Friends until the ninth season.

Seinfeld was looking for a girl in real life hence all the auditions as sexy actress gfs

summer of George

He fucked all of them IRL too.
