Casino is more exploitative and a tad bit sensationalized, it also has a much more distinct and unique style. Goodfellas is much more about paying homage to older films, and is all about music and pacing to capture specific time periods and the sympathizing of the mafioso culture. Casino, though still a very well made and entertaining movie, just does not have that rhythmic pacing of Goodfellas, which is why some songs were even reused in Casino. Goodfellas really is all about the soundtrack, it has like over 60 used songs in the whole movie to span three decades, and there's almost always a song playing in that movie. Casino is a 9/10 Goodfellas is a 10/10. Plain and simple
