Depends on where you look when you say e-celebs now, but yeah. Think about it like this, 10 years ago Fred was the most popular on YouTube, now it's Pewdiepie. Generally all of the "I get mad at video games and movies" reviewers were always bad, AVGN, and Douges older videos being an exception
