will it go full LOST?

this looks to be completely off the rails fucking HYPE

Carrie Coon has aged like milk

still need to watch season 2

this, what is that fucking haircut?

>Carrie Coon is going full on MOMMY

i like it

Still need to finish second half of s1

that beard makes Theroux look like Huge jackedman

>is the end near
>the end is near

Damn... Lindelof did it again

EVERYONE HAS BEARDS

you don't shave in the apocalypse. this isn't The Walking Dead

It's still too far away, but at the same time I don't want it to end.

KINO

Leaning more towards menopausal aunt

Didn't the main guy die?

What's the point of this?

retard
watch the last episode again

Holy shit are they actually going with Apocalypse? Would make sense after Rapture...

I watched it when grinding in WoW. What did I miss?

Best show on TV by a huge margin.

t. christcuck

You missed WoW being complete and utter shit after WotLK.

post yfw they end up on the Island

Wrong.

threadly reminder that The Vessel is everything the leftovers wants to be but can't be.

still need to get past the first four minutes of s01e01

its jacob's ladder and the series is going to end with a mangling of "the end of the world is actually the end of the self"

...

I've been holding off my suicide for this.

me too ahah

Are we some sort of...suicide squad?

...

Is this the season Jill finally gets BLACKED

This is going to be great, it's a shame nobody watches this show.

Still can't believe Theroux hasn't gotten an Emmy for this, he is brilliant.

...

holy shit
is this kino

Fuck off

I've honestly never heard of this show before.

go watch it now

I haven't seen S2 yet but what other Biblical elements are they going with, what role does the baby left on the porch have? Is it the Anti-Christ?

Nothing for Patti either. Award shows are a fucking joke 2bh

>still playing WoW

you missed out on life you fuckin sperg

Does this remind anyone else of the LA X theories before the season 6 premier of Lost?

>Award shows are a fucking joke 2bh
I want to raid an award show with squirt guns full of bull semen.

Kevin sees visions from "angels," returns from the dead in S2, twice, and "converts" a skeptic non-believer (John Murphy) in the finale. I have a feeling that he's supposed to be Jesus or something.

This is some full-on LOST bullshit.

Kill yourself normie pleb

It's not though. LOST had the disadvantage of getting too caught up in sf mystery bullshit, but this show wisely lets the mystery be and instead puts focus on the characters and their internal conflicts.

>is the end near
>the end is near

So what about Magic Black Jesus, was he just someone who could go between Heaven and Earth?

best show on television easy

i'm not gonna watch the trailer
but i can't fucking wait

We can only hope, pray, and sacrifice to gods that they'll keep that God-tier intro from season 2, broughs.

EVERYBODY'S WONDERING WHAT AND WHERE THEY ALL CAME FROM

EVERYBODY'S WORRYING ABOUT WHERE THEY'RE GONNA GO WHEN THE WHOLE THING'S DONE

>not surpassing the previous 2 seasons in intro

>You believe you'll always feel that pain ?

That Holy Wayne scene with Nora is the best scene on tv for years

they will change it for sure

my nigga

Wayne? He's a big phony.

Unless you mean John's father, but it's obvious he's staying in the afterlife. He plays Virgil for a bit, but I don't think he's anyone that special.

>Wayne? He's a big phony.

He was not. He doubted his own power. But the wish he granted to Kevin came to reality at the end of season 2

>Now, who wants a hug?

>This and Fargo in April.
>Twin Peaks in May.

Truly the year of telekino.

>Americans S5
>Big Little Lies

Song

I'm more curious if they'll top the season 2 caveman intro:
>Previously in The Leftovers
>4000 BC
>my sides

So what are the guesses on what kind of events start happening to make everyone think the Apocalypse is coming? Catastrophic natural disasters? More departures?

Better Cuck Chuck also

I just checked and saw that HBO has an Andrew Jackson miniseries planned, with no set date. Sean Penn stars

Hopefully it's better than John Adams, that was so mediocre.

>It's not though. LOST had the disadvantage of getting too caught up in sf mystery bullshit, but this show wisely lets the mystery be and instead puts focus on the characters and their internal conflicts.
>It's not though

>mfw the series ends just as another departure occurs

>ARE YOU READY FOR THE TELEKINO EVENT OF THE CENTURY?

Why is everyone so hyped on a TV show about day-old food?

s1 intro was so weird and cool that when i first saw the s2 intro i hated it.. but by 3 eps in i love it and hope they bring it back

Well The Young Pope already aired but i will also finish this, why not.

hopefully

god i fucking love margaret qualey

FUCK THAT
shit song

She was wasted in The Nice Guys. That whole film was

Young Pope is everything that Leftovers wants to be and has more substance in any given minute than the latter has in its entire run.

they are all pawns in a grand battle between good and evil. Wayne was being used by the evil side, and my guess is that his baby is meant to corrupt the Garvy family, but Kevin is a prophet for the side of good and so far as been able to keep it together.
Also he wasnt seeing angels in S2, he was haunted by a ghost that was explicitly called an agent of his "adversary."

Its a test, a test of man's faith in each other.

i agree

He's literally Jesus. He came back from the dead.

But it's not about the mysteries, Lindelof told me in an interview.

link

"What if no one's home?"

"Then you come to my house."
God, such a fucking good show.

indiewire.com/2014/07/dont-watch-the-show-for-big-reveal-about-mystery-rapture-in-the-leftovers-says-damon-lindelof-84139/

But people still delude themselves that it isn't entirely about the shitty half baked mysteries.

>leftovers will never get the appreciation it deserves
fuck everything

youtube.com/watch?v=mynoYJi35Ac

Most underrated episode

>I want to free him
>Why?
>Because it's my turn

KINO

thats different, im not watching it for an answer.

The show is about faith through and through, characters having faith in what they saw, each other, and if we as the viewers have faith in Kevin.
It would be reductive to give a definite answer.

That episode was great, priest went full Jesus and suffered for their sins. Second time I watched it I almost cried.

Season 2 of this show is so fucking good. Season 1 is pretty dry IMO, not much going on that's too thematically interesting.

But season 2, holy god. What literally went right?

This is going to be a fucking ride

>justin theroux will never get the appreciation he deserves
it's just not fair.. fuck game of thrones and fuck these shitty overrated meme shows

I watched this with my mother, who doesn't know any English, she cried

This show went completely downhill after season 1.

Season 2 was just some race baiting sjw nonsense

OFFICIAL CHARACTERS POWERRANKING

1. Matt
2. Kevin
3. Nora
4. Meg
5. Laurie
6. John
7. John's wife
8. Jill

POWER GAP

9001. Tom

I thought the same thing until I re-watched it all to show it to my girlfriend.

Season 1 is actually really good, and if you know where the show is eventually heading you can see all the threads being set up very subtly, even for Season 2. And of course when you see the national geographic and know all the foreshadowing it provides... well it makes me feel like this show is Lost done right.

The Leftovers is routinely praised by the shitty blogosphere. It is wildly overrated.

you're an idiot, most of the black people shown in S2 did bad things and made human mistakes. In fact the dad is meant to be a dark mirror to Kevin.

>Nora that high

She yells at everyone and cant keep a grip on her emotions.

In the end John was at least able to admit he needs help and doesnt know what is going on.

Part of me wishes it actually did end at season 2, which is obviously why that ending felt so sorta full circle. It was such a perfect ending. Brings me to tears every time.

But everything I've seen from S3 looks like it's going to be great. So here's hoping
