No. The Hundred Years' War was a french dynastic war. The french king who controlled England had a claim on the kingdom of France. He managed to get many french nobles on his side, to the point of having the entire western part of the country at some point.
If he got the entire french kingdom he would probably have gone back to France because the country was richer and more populated than England. I guess english (that was already heavily influenced by normans) would have been replaced by french as more numerous french people would have traveled to the other side of the channel to populate the island. I'm pretty sure english would've been extinct in less than a century (reminder that at the time there was around 13 million french people and 4 million english people, to put things in perspective).
