yes

No.

I've seen 50 year old students. Its never too late to get a degree if it leads to a good job.

Not at all

If you're still alive the answer is no

I've had grandparents in my courses

If you're 26 and don't have a college degree, you might as well just commit suicide.

My dad went to medical school in his 40s

Only if you are pursuing a bachelor’s in english or some social science. It's never too late to get a STEM degree.

nope

just make sure what you're studying is worth it.

just sit back and laugh at all the naive 19 year olds in your class voicing their sweet little opinions in your humanities electives

Nah, been in classes with 40 - 50 year olds. Don't fall for the "I missed the boat" meme, never too late to unfuck your shit.

t. English major saddened that my field has been overtaken by leftists and in the process of seeking a career change

Based dad

Take a major with a future like A STEM or a trade such as welding.

Graduate.

Make bank.

Bang the 18 and 19 year olds while you're there.

No, but be prepared to feel old. University is an extension of high school where everyone can enter nowadays

Real talk, it's never too late to go to college.

Unlike high school, there is no age limit.

No it isn't. I went back at 26 myself and it was way better - I actually worked instead of drinking and socialising.

No, in fact you have an advantage over all those teenyboppers
You actually know why the fuck you are there so you'll actually try to get good grades and go for a major that isn't shit.

What's the point of a degree anyway?

I only hung out with the people who were 25 or older while i was studying accounting. They had a lot of advice for me and were a better preperation for the real world post-college. You will be fine OP and you will have a lot of friends.

No, don't listen to these cunts on here who tell you yes.

They will discourage anyone who has any aspirations or ambitions, so they can feel comfortable being lazy NEET cunts.

You need one to get a decent job in this country.

NO. I'm 27, CIS major. Every single class there are SEVERAL 40-60 year old people.

It's never too late. As long as you aren't an idiot.

Don't listen to anybody else here bro. NEVER TOO LATE.

no user son, but make sure you pick a career with a future rather then falling for the educational jew before taken loans.

Not as long as you do a good degree.
I'm 27 and doing my final year starting September.

go for it, you'll be qualified by 30. still young.

for stem, never.

No you don't.

>Is 26 too old to start university?

Might as well say,"Is 26 too old to ever improve your lot in life?". As long as you have a solid plan in either STEM, medicine, or a legit trade than you're good.

do it! i dare you pussy

(you)

no, but dont bother starting it without learning everything on the internet.

the internet is 1000000000x with 99999999999999999999999999x more resource than college has.

learn everything then breeze through college afterwards and get your degree cheap.

I started uni at 18 and a guy on my course was 25, I ended sharing a house with him for 2 years and he seemed to enjoy himself.

I don't know how it works in weedville though

It's never too late bro, do it and have a great time

yes, best kill yourself now

OP here, I was thinking of studying computer science. It seems like humanity is on the cusp of a new industrial revolution with computers and automation, I want to prepare myself for the future

I've already started reading the Sup Forums meme book and learning Java to prepare

You need to be realistic. At 26 you should be looking at a retirement home to move into

Yes, unfortunately. You are far, far, far too old at 26. Realistically, you should just kill yourself.

No, of course it's not too old. Stop looking for reasons to be afraid, doubt yourself, etc. Go and follow your dreams, work hard, and you'll make it. Stupid question in the first place. You're young as fuck at 26.

Unless it's a hard science or medical, you're wasting your time, fuckwit.

Not at all

It's never too late to try to better yourself you retarded faggot. Hit the gym too, dyel.

No way dude, I'm 22 and I haven't even finished all of my general education classes because fuck college. Going to military/medical school instead.

If you don't know what degree you want to get, just research the degrees that will give you the widest amount of opportunities and $$$. Keep in mind that if you make a certain amount of legitimate/non-degenerate $$$, it doesn't matter what you're doing to get it.

>implying going to college isn't already fucking your shit.

Unless it's a hard science or healthcare you're better off learning on your own time with any number of free resources.

omg imagine being 26 going to college. think of the 18 year old girls, and you being old enough to no longer let your aspie brain prevent you from feeling afraid of them

No, why? All the freshman spergs and autists will look up to you thinking you know your shit.

Thanks gramps

No I'm 21 and still in third year. Everyone treat me like a five year old here tho.

Are you a fucking idiot? Of course not, just don't waste your time or money if you're doing so. If you plan on skipping classes, not honestly trying to do and learn from the work and planning for the future, then obviously don't bother and let some other sap go. It is what you make of the opportunities available at the start.

Nah mate, sure most of the students are around 20 yo but at the end of the day there's a lot of people who are 40+ in the classrooms. There's nothing weird about it, you just don't really expect to see them in parties. Imo if you hate your job you should not be okay with wasting your life on it, just give it a shot for one or two semesters.

takes medical specialists like 17 years of university.
your dad becomes a doctor, just in time to retire.

I dropped out of high school my freshman year.

Worked menial, low-wage jobs until I was 29.

Tested for the GED, enrolled in a community college and received my AA at 30.

Enrolled at a state university at 31 and was awarded my B.A. at 33.

Currently 36 and working in the IT field earning 60k annually. I've got about half of my college debt paid off, with about 30k remaining. Due spending all of my childhood, and nearly all of my adult life, living in poverty, I'm able to live well beneath my means and expect to be debt free within 4 years.

I'd almost certainly be earning >$10 an hour had I not sorted out my life and went back to school.

I'm in my mid-thirties and browsing Sup Forums, though, so I guess I'm still a failure.

It's better than nothing

no

but this guy gets it

don't learn java bro.

python will teach you the most, give you the most opportunities.

He's a GP and he's happy with his career move

Depends on how far you're willing to go and what end goal you have in mind. At the start I wanted to stay in and get a doctorate but, around 2015, I noticed that the leftists more or less took over uni and constantly pushed their agenda, so I grew disillusioned.

Regardless, from what I've read about the Ph.D path it sounds like I'd be better off doing something else. Tenure is a bitch.

(but there's no age limit for high school)

No.

No. Never.

There is here. You can't attend if you're over 18.

Yes, because at that age you're probably a fuck-up. You're not getting in a top-10 university, so why even bother

nice politics thread

>military/medical school
the fuck?
military school sounds like the easiest school in the world to get into, whereas medical school is the hardest...so wtf?

Right back at (you)

I'm an idiot who got a degree in criminal justice. I wanted to be a cop, but then I got a real job after I graduated and realized that money and comfortable hours are more important to me.

Now I'm 23 and making absolute shit pay working an office job where I can't advance because everyone else has actual degrees. I'm wondering if I should go back and get a real degree.

It's just hard because I have a gf that I live with and its going to be really hard to have to go back to depending on my parents and not being able to pay for anything anymore.

How did it go? Did he succeed in getting a job as a doctor?

No

nope. it might seriously improve your life for the better

but if you go to university study something useful

Either start a company or go to university.
There is no other choice that leads to a good life 10 years later.

Yes you can.

Greek stuff might be awkward, but you should never be ashamed of improving yourself

what university?
province?
city or town?
what did he do before?
why did he switch?

Nah man. I'm 25 and plan on going to Uni in a year.

Just gotta decide if I want the military to pay for it, or if I want to go it alone and be a free man.

No

There is an age limit. It's 21.

Can't you compete with Jewish lawyers with that degree?

(you)

Learn PHP. It's the way to go.

based user

>Greek stuff might be awkward
It's cringe-worthy to start with, at 26 you'd be embarrassed to be doing that shit. It seems childish when you're 18, ffs.

I wish I didn't feel like such a Grandpa around people younger than me. I was in school at 23 and felt old. I have a degree but if I ever do school again, CC or grad school only.

>79545842

(me)

>fuck (you) and your shit tier Canadian debatin skillz

Hey OP, watch this because it fits your situation.

youtube.com/watch?v=7N2a2qTf9ik

No

I'm not here to debate with you. Stay mad.

no

greek stuff? wtf are you niggers talking about

> PHP
> Current year
I cant even

I got a classmate once who had 72
Never is too late to study

Don't listen to either one of these fucks. Learn C/C++ as your basis, branch out from there.

I fucked your mom, and your sister.

You will only use it like once in CS in an interactive website making course usually.

Is there any worthy alternative yet ?

In and out user.

Im like you OP
26

I dont know if I should do military like everyone always tried to push me into or look into a degree with a future. I just dont know what degrees are worth it these days.

you can't quit work to go back into education
what about your wife and kids?

Op I am not as old but I have lotsome of old friends who went to school.

I've got a friend who was 30 when he transferred from community college and he's got an EE degree. I know several 24-26 yr Olds who are working on MechE and chemE degrees.

Nope. up to 40 is fine.

Also, you wont be a clueless 18 year old (assuming you had a life so far) and will get all the girls because 18-22 year olds cant compete with 26 in terms of life experience and desirability, as people that age tend to have their shit together.

nope, several guys i went to school with who were over 30 and most who had kids too. They are pretty successful now

>tfw 19 and haven't gone to college yet
should I end it lads?

Here we fucking go...

Stick to web dev if you want an actual career.
