>be european colony >get independent as a result of european dickfights >live few hundred years in peace and prosperity since you're irrelevant to europeans >meanwhile europe is constantly at war >this results in thousands of european immigrants running from war >after the biggest two wars, europe is so savaged, it leaves you as economically strongest in the world >"yay usa best nation in the world"
How can Americans take pride in this? Their only accomplishment is literally doing nothing and being irrelevant.
>nothing You forgot about slaughtering defenseless natives
Landon King
being proud of cunt is the most idotic thing ever no matter what your cunt is
Justin Barnes
meh, look at Brazil. They had the same starting conditions as America, yet they ended up as a third world shithole
Robert Taylor
I don't see the problem with that desu.
Logan Anderson
>the same conditions Go study both historys before shiting misinformation.
Nathan Turner
that was the brits bruh
Liam Morgan
>They had the same starting conditions as America no
Josiah Rodriguez
Then educate us what is the difference. Both of them started as a tiny colony of Kingdoms of Europe.
Brandon Foster
You sound like an injun...or a banker.
Oliver Brown
Brazil has fuck all resources compared to the US, and didn't have nearly as much room to expand Its geography is also much worse, there's a reason most cities are on the coast
Connor Gomez
>the same conditions
Can you even pretend to make some research before talking shit?
Isaac Ramirez
A lot of south American cunts have a ton of resources (like Venezuela and their #1 supply of oil) but couldn't do anything with it.
America succeeded because of early Anglos and later Germans, who are genetically superior.
There's a reason Germans rule the EU and the Anglosphere (especially papa UK) have been running the world for hundreds of years.
Christopher Clark
My English is not sufficient good for make big texts, but I'll try.
First of all, USA was a colony of settlement. Brazil was a colony of exploration. While Brits was worried about build a country, a new home, portugueses who come here was worried about collect and sell resources, and back rich to Portugal.
USA become independent in 1776, and stay as a republic since it the start. Brazil become independent in 1822, and started like a Empire and was one of most powerful empires on world, with a gigantic navy and a prosperous economy. So, in 1889, a coup d'etat takes place, motivated by the slavering abolition, that knocks down King D. Pedro II, and from there begins the shit hole that you know today.
Also, I'm writing on smartphone so I'll not speak about geographic, political and others factors. I speak in that text about the more simple things, have much more.
Gabriel Brown
>USA become independent in 1776, and stay as a republic since it the start. Brazil become independent in 1822, and started like a Empire and was one of most powerful empires on world, with a gigantic navy and a prosperous economy. Sounds to me like Brazil had better conditions than USA
Levi Lewis
>meanwhile europe is constantly at war so were we, 224 years out of 241.
>after the biggest two wars, europe is so savaged, it leaves you as economically strongest in the world your continent caused both world wars. maybe you shouldn't be chimps if you want to prosper
it's telling that europe has finally been at peace for almost a century thanks to Pax Americana. you're welcome
Comanches were actually winning battles against Mexicucks. How embarrassing for a """""European"""" colony, Spain should just give up in shame.
Aiden Torres
did the natives always have horses or were they introduced?
Wyatt Thomas
The Spanish didn't feel like taking their horses back with them, so they just let them run free after they left. Same thing with pigs. Neither are indigenous to the continent but are everywhere in the wild now.
Julian Anderson
Yes and no. Horses actually existed in North America before Europeans arrived, but they went extinct (not sure if they were ever domesticated... they were probably eaten to death)
When horses were reintroduced, it was through Spain.
Sebastian Fisher
>american education
Caleb Cox
jeez let them alone already
Easton Lewis
Another butthurt thread about how we're more relevant than everyone else
Sup Forums at night is fucking trash
Levi Smith
Most of these seem like minor strifes in your back yard, and interventions that took place far away from your borders. When OP is talking about war, I think he means things like sieging and bombing of major population centres, large scale warfare between conventional armies, etc.
Caleb Green
>a war is only a war if there are sieges and castles nice backpedaling, want to erase all of rome's achievements too while you're at it since they didn't use gunpowder?
war is war
Asher Walker
My point is that your wars don't really seem that devastating to your country by comparison.
Jason Ramirez
NOO U FEKEN URO MUSLIM KEK AMERICA NUMBER 1 WAR AR 15 MUH FREEDUMS
Eli Hughes
America financed wars that destroyed Europe. Besides, America never had devastating wars on its territory. I say the day America turns into 15% white, brown & marxist shithole would be the best for humanity.
Sebastian Hughes
It's a feature, not a bug. We have a strong hegemony over our own hemisphere.
Isaac Mitchell
>It's a feature, not a bug I'm not sure what exactly you mean by this.
But my point was simply that wars in Europe have tended to be far more devastating to all participants than the wars you have fought. It probably has much to do with the sheer distance between you and your enemies. It would be my uneducated guess that your war in 1812 was the only time your country really took a toll in any war.
Nicholas Rivera
Nah, we didn't actually take very many losses in the war of 1812. Our deadliest conflict was the Civil War.
Joseph Howard
Yes, so devastating wars have been few and far between. And that was kind of OPs point. All the nations (that still exists) in Europe have had their share of completely devastating conflicts.
America has historicly been a place you could run away to, to escape the never ending wars and conflicts of the old world.
Parker Sullivan
no, that's the War Against Obesity lmao XD
Hudson Scott
>The British started slavery
Daniel Gonzalez
>Their only accomplishment is literally doing nothing and being irrelevant.
Well, if that's how you become a global superpower then the Czech Republic should be emperor of all time and space.
