Not even close to true. Beyonce had to give away tickets on her last tour to pretend like she still fills arenas while Gomez stays at home all day snortking coke with Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom while Bieber has been playing clubs in Europe.

Pop musicians have short shelf lives. And Beyonce has been around for 2 decaes now while the others have been pushing a decade on the scene.

And the market ALWAYS changes when each new crop of kids start getting into music every decade or so. And that's true no matter how hard the media machines try to keep their designated royalty on top.

Just loook at the most successful tours of the 2010s and notice how few "current" musicians are on it:
