Adrift on the Nile is pretty good, watched it in an Arabic class.
A Separation and Close-Up are my favorites
...
Anyone see this?
Suppose to be good.
I was really impressed by Under the Shadow - the 2016 Farsi language horror film set in Iran. It's both genuinely unnerving and a vehicle for fairly sophisticated social commentary about the Iranian Revolution. Highly recommended if you like horror kino.
Do you mean films made in the Middle East or films about the Middle East?
I don't care about Michael Bays opinion on Libya.
The Human Shield II: Reshielded
The Stoning Of An Unfaithful Wife
Oi: The Goys Who Love My Gold
Sixteen IADs
I Blew My Love Up In Fallujah
Kajaki is pretty good, if Afghanistan counts as Middle East
Dont really know if it counts as middle east, but anything by Nuri Bilge Ceylan

Go through Kiarostami's filmography, including the movies that he wrote for but didn't direct.
A Separation is easily one of the decade's best movies.
>A seperation

>Waltz with Bashir
>Buddha Collapsed out of Shame

turtles can fly, pleb
Poor Satellite, didn't even get Agrim cunny
The Flaming Borders, an Iraqi epic war kino from the 80's about killing hordes of persian scum. I think it was the most expensive Arabic movie when it was made, it used actual real live tanks.
Fast forward to the last 20 minutes to see all the action bits. m.youtube.com
