2000 years worth of culinary autism dating back to Apicius.

Because we have something called "culture". Look the word up on the dictionary.

jewish and ar*p influence

>all fruits must be peeled
That's just bad form desu

>dairy with fish

Don't you add parmesano to the putanesca?

>>all fruits must be peeled
For many fruit like apples that's pretty stupid

Pecorino on pasta with octopus sauce makes it the food of the gods

I never really understood until I tried a real carbonara without meme creme. you should listen to pastafags

Half of those are lies, I'll leave you to figure out which.

That's the only one you got right

Is it:
>no milk in coffee after noon
>no protein at breakfast
>all fruits must be peeled

The other two actually seem pretty sensible.

protein at breakfast has to fake because breakfast is just deli slices and cheese

the absolute state of italian """""cuisine"""""

>>no protein at breakfast

Croissants or cakes have proteins

>>no dairy with fish

Where id you ehar this BS?

There are many fish dishes with Parmigiano cheese for instance

No point in arguing with foreigners. You were called barbarians for a reason.

In reality it all has to do with centuries of culinary development based on what types of food were available and what social classes used to consume what
But still
>no milk in coffee after noon
Because at that time it's no longer breakfast and if you're going to have some coffee it's just for extra caffeine
>no protein at breakfast
Not entirely true, it's just that a classic Italian breakfast is more sweets-based
>no dairy with fish
It'd taste fucking awful, it's an acidic taste mixed with another acidic but different one
>no chicken with pizza or pasta
White meat has no taste and it's too chunky so it doesn't work mixed with a bread base
>all fruits must be peeled
Eh, this is only in formal situations or in company of MUH HYGIENE people really

they put coca cola into their wine

No, pointless arbitrary rules are traditional obfuscations used by people to provide the façade of a culture.

autism

we do that too though I consider it really trashy but it's how most teens start drinking alcoholic stuff

>Lol why does this rule exist?
>"It exists because such and such"
>DUDE AUTISM LMAO
Calle avenue

I mix wine with Pepsi Max to make it last longer.

自閉症児

>no dairy with fish
we have this rule too

but it's you who have strange food rules and bastarize everything

it's very autistic honestly

>this kills the pastafarian

A shame to the Anglo race is what you are

>no milk in coffee after noon
No. we call him "macchiato" and we drink it also after noon
>no protein at breakfast
We have a litlle breakfast, just one coffee, tea or Orange juice
>no dairy with fish
>no chicken with pizza or pasta
This is a fucking culinary crime
>all fruits must be peeled
it's a choice, I prefer fruit without peel

>no milk in coffee after noon
?
>no protein at breakfast
?
>no dairy with fish
because it's fucking disgusting
>no chicken with pizza or pasta
see above
>all fruits must be peeled
?

>no dairy with fish
that's a given for any country, r-right?

Never had ate philadelphia roll?

And this is why lox is rightfully American, not N*rdic

>tfw you order coffee with milk after noon and you get beat up

What's wrong with south italians?

>>no milk in coffee after noon
not true, some people just don't like to have milk in coffee right after lunch because milk fills you up as it gets digested as food.
>>no protein at breakfast
what, not true at all, I know plenty people who have salty beakfast with ham et similia.
>>no dairy with fish
true, just the thought of having fish with cheese.makes me gag, terrible pairing.
>>no chicken with pizza or pasta
putting chicken on pizza is subhuman tier, on pasta is alright some times, like cold pasta salad with chicken is alright, still kind of a yank tier recipe.
>>all fruits must be peeled
not true, well I peel my fruit because I was spoilt like that as a kid but tons of people eat fruit with the peel as long as it's washed.

those are the Spanish 2bh

>no milk in coffee after noon
that's because cappuccino (coffee with milk foam) is usually only drank in the morning, there are a lot of people that drink their coffee with a bit of milk, at any time time of the day, proof of this is that almost every bar always keep a little jug of milk on the counter
but we like making fun of tourist that drink cappuccino after lunch, that's very unusual indeed
>no protein at breakfast
anglo-german slander, while it's true that most people down here have smaller breakfasts consisting of coffee and/or milk and some biscuits/pastries, nobody beats an eye (apart from friendly banter) if you eat a panino with prosciutto first thing in the morning
>no dairy with fish
pic related, it surely is not common, but there are some delicious exceptions
>no chicken with pizza or pasta
there are better options you know (pasta with beef, like ragù as used with lasagne), and chicken broth with its own kind of pasta (pasta corta) exists
>all fruits must be peeled
this might have been true in the yesteryear, when general hygiene was way worse, but why would I renounce all that sweet fibers in this day and age?

in all honesty the only true food rule of Italian cuisine is to not water down wine, that shit is a vile and blasphemous act
good quality bait by the way

>the US talking shit about strange rules
