Can we talk about this film? I was pleasantly surprised at just how good it was considering it starred Nicholas Cage and was directed by Michael Bay.

kill yourself
a bit melodramatic but it works for a great 90s movie
check out Armageddon next
Like with all nic cage flicks, it would have been better without him
Fuck you, only Nick Cage could have pulled off Con Air
>YFW Nick Cage was going to be Superman in a Kevin Smith abortion
nah, that was shit because of him too. The only exception is leaving las vegas
Name one actor from the last 20 years who isn't just himself in every role
He is a good actor who has done a lot of silly acting in dumb movies. You have no sense for these things, never leave a dumb comment like that in one of my threads again dipshit.
Yeah but almost no Nich Cage films would've been made at all if he'd not agreed to star in them. It means that films he stars in have essentially become a genre in and of themselves.
I'm calling it
Soon fags will be saying this movie was satire also.
>Face/Off without Nic Cage
Really just kill yourself
Name one villain with this much depth and a motive this understandable from a film released in the last 10 years.
that shower scene
I WILL NOT GIVE THAT ORDER
>never leave a dumb comment like that in one of my threads again dipshit.
I don't want to but when kids say stupid shit on my Sup Forums I feel an uncontrollable urge to point out their shit taste
Go watch Adaptation you worthless fuck
>in 1996, God said: "Let there be a film atarring Nicolas Cage directed by Michael Bay!"
>"But, Lord!" Said the angels" that will blow big time"
>"I AM THY LORD, DO AS I SAI!"
>And so His will was done
>and it was good
I GOT GREEN SMOKE! I GOT GREEN SMOKE!
The Rock and Armaggedon are some of my favorite action flicks and not ironically.
>there are people here who didn't watch this when it was released
My mom took me to see it in theaters. It's been my favorite dumb action movie for 20 years, and it's the only Michael Bay movie I genuinely like.
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU, MAN?
I’m not a soldier, Major. The day we took hostages, we became mercenaries. And mercenaries get paid. I want MY FUCKIN' MONEY.
>Three tours in Vietnam, Panama, Grenada, Desert Storm; three Purple Hearts, two Silver Stars and the Congressional Medal of - Jesus. This man is a hero.
so fucking based
Grunge?
hey there cupcake
i bet youve literally never seen a nic cage movie and have only seen the memey from the remake of wicker man
same
AAYYYJAAAYY
>that unfortunate gay hairdresser stereotype that comes out of nowhere
even back then, the audience was like wtf
find me a straight male hairdresser
The bad guys didn't even do anything wrong
What about barbers?
Quentin and Sean made it good. Cage made it GREEEAT.
Just because a guy has a leather jacket, handlebar mustache and is a big manly guy doesn't mean he isn't gay as fuck. Same with barbers.
Its so melodram its painful to watch, The plot is also absurd.
Joe was arguably his best movie.
>considering it starred Nicholas Cage
Hahaha, look at this pleb.
Also, everything Bay did in the 90s was great. People just call him the worst director ever because of the Transformers sequels.
Actually it's good because it was written by Tarantino and he suggested to get Connery and Harris.
I hired it from Blockbuster
>Kevin Smith
why must you americans drag Kevin smith into every discussion?
It's okay as long as you don't take it seriously. In retrospect it pretty much started the whole generic movie with le epic soundtrack fad so it needs to be destroyed.
>I GOT GREEN SMOKE! I GOT GREEN SMOKE
Oh shit GOAT score, man! One of the best finales I've experienced in cinemas.
>Goddamnit, commander, one last time! You tell your men to safety their weapons and drop them on the deck!
>I cannot give that order!
>I am not going to repeat that order!
>I will not give that order!
watch Adaptation you fucking faggots
Ed Harris was great in that movie.
I love his deadpan delivery of "There is no fucking money."
There's a scene where the puff argues with the FBI guys that he isn't a barber.
The Rock is action-kino for the ages, everything came together perfectly to make this one of the best 90's action movies.
AHM ONLEH BARROWING YUR HUMVEY!
