I don't care
My favorite Harrison Ford flick
And Tommy Lee Jones flick too, actually
I think the scene where he gets to the special olympics training stadium and interrogates a retarded athlete by beating him up was a bit too much
>WHEN I CAME HOME THERE WAS A MAN IN MY HOUSE.
What did he mean by this?
>YOU WILL NEVER GET NEW FORDKINO
ALL HIS TOM CLANCY STUFF WAS THE HEIGHT OF 90S SPY FLICKS
THAT CONVOY AMBUSH IN CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER WAS BASED, BOURNE HAS NOTHING ON THIS SHIT
>That van in the back
What are they called? They're so fucking neat
The parts where Kimble is working at the hospital and eluding capture etc. are cool, but the whole drug company conspiracy ending is pretty lame.
Tommy Lee Jones singlehandedly carried this movie
Harrison Ford has the charisma of a paper bag
Venom Snake?
I ALREADY WORK AROUND THE CLOCK
Fuck the teddy bears man
IRONIC SINCE TOMMY LEE JONES PHONES IT IN LIKE A MOTHERFUCKER EVER SINCE UNDER SIEGE
HARRISON FORD CARRIED STAR WARS BY HIMSELF
...
Is that a JLC Reverso on his wrist? Good taste, desu and a greaet flick. Absolute Fordkino with comfy yet thrilling atmosphere.
Why didn't he just move to the left or right?
HAHAHA!! LE EBIN OBSOLETE CLIPITYCLOP MAYMAY!!!! TAKE ALL THE UPBOATS!!! LELELELELLEXDXDXD
damn, Ford has been in myriads of brainless action movies hasn't he
For some reason he likes to play Doctors a lot.
Ventrillo Harassment forever ruined that scene for me. My brain can never not heere ''He Had a Mechanical Arm !''
youtube.com
This guy's dirty cosmo
the Fugitive is good though faggot
Van? That's an old school greyhound bus
Since he's played Jack Ryan so much, I always think this is another Jack Ryan flick when I think of it.
>YOU WILL NEVER GET NEW FORDKINO
Good, the man stopped giving a shit a long time ago. Every new "performance" he shits out is painful to watch. I'm still going to see the new Bladerunner but I'm already bracing for how cynical and half-assed he'll be.
FORDKINO WAS CLEARLY SPECIFIED, NOT FORDPAYCHECK
GOOSE'S AUTISM WILL BE THE PRIMARY PROBLEM WITH BLADE RUNNER 2
>The Fugitive
>brainless action flick
>HE HAD A MECHANICAL ARM.
tell me about the arm, why was it mechanical?
What did he do? Haven't seen this in years.
Yeah that one is a classic.
Alright, listen up, ladies and gentlemen, our fugitive has been on the run for ninety minutes. Average foot speed over uneven ground barring injuries is 4 miles-per-hour. That gives us a radius of six miles. What I want from each and every one of you is a hard-target search of every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse and doghouse in that area. Checkpoints go up at fifteen miles. Your fugitive's name is Dr. Richard Kimble. Go get him.
This clip made for some pretty kino ventrilo harassment
Kill yourself 90's born faggot
>tfw you'll never be a US Marshall chasing fugitives
They never have fucking job openings!
No, but what Jones did fundamentally changed how law enforcement was portrayed on screen.
Deputy Gerard was unemotional, detached, but far from cold. He carried out his duty with a meticulous ferocity that showed how dangerous even ordinary looking men can be.
Sure, this iconic performance became overshadowed by his own parodies of them (Men in Black, The Man of the House), but at the time, there was nothing quite like it.
>Man of the House
>overshadowing anything
You almost had me there for a second.
I DIDN'T KILL MY WIFE
>Nominated for 7 Oscars including Best Picture, Best Cinematography and Best Supporting Actor (which Jones won)
This is a well made tight action-thriller whodunit with some strong performances but a Best Picture contender? Was that a PARTICULARLY weak year or was the producer blowing somebody?
every year has been weak since 1984.
the fugitive isnt a bad movie.
The Fugitive was my favorite movie for a bit -- I just loved the way the movie "felt" and the story was fun to follow.
But, I watched it way too much and it airs on TV almost every week, it seems; so, I got sick of it.
It was the perfect storm of old school Hollywood (handsome doctor loses his wife, gets blamed for it, passionate ACTING in trailer), Baby Boomers starting to "get up there" but wow look at Harry Ford still kicking butt in his early 40's and the habit de jour, turning 60's Television into Movies.
I guess they would hire internally from the FBI or state police I guess
Good movie with a few meh parts. As others say, Ford had a few bad scenes (but truly a few), the ending twist could have been tweaked a little.
Overall, I would think it's a good movie.
The real question: What is Harrison's last good movie? As in, where HE was good in it, not the film itself (though you can answer either).
He actually wasn't bad in the Star Wars movie. I'm assuming they promised him he would be killed off in exchange for him actually giving a shit.
Before that you'd have to go back to the 90's
>early 40s
Ford was 51 when he made this. He was 40 by the time Jedi came out.
You're actually right. He did phone it in a bit but it was a huge fucking step up from his last few movies.
I would actually say he did quite well and was the best, if not second best, part of the movie.
>FBI to Marshalls
Seems like a step down to me, but you're probably right about the recruitment method.
Depends if you liked Airforce One. If not, it might be the Fugitive but I admit, I haven't seen all the movies after Airforce One.
It's not the years, it's the altitude
Goddamn, why didn't they just cut the shot of the ragdoll out?
"Should we throw another dummy?"
"NO BULLSHIT WE GOT THE SHOT. HE WAS SISSOR KICKING TO SLOW HIS FALL."
Why is this such a comfy movie bros??
I don't know. I really like the way 90s film looked. I can't explain it.
Same goes with Goodfellas.
It's actually filming on film, not some hard drive. Even Phantom Menace looks like a 90's film.
I was pretty into this film in 93-94. I remember my friends had a descrambler box and watching this at their place on Viewer's Choice, along with another 1993 release, A Perfect World. Good times.
