I love 24 but they arent perfect seasons, every season has a lull in the last 3/4th when they switch over the plots to the final group of terrorists.

Season 5 doesn't.

One of the flaws in S5 is that it leads to a fucking boring nothingness of what is S6. But now that I think of it... that is the flaw of the very last minutes of the season.

And there are some boring parts and so on. 24 episodes per season is way too much.

Texhnolyze has 22 episodes.

Season 5 had the best soundtrack since Season 1. That grandiose Palmer Theme that blasts when Logan gets arrested... awesomeness!

youtube.com/watch?v=CmMX439Ro3E

Dash posting should be bannable.

That's not a flaw of season 5. Besides, season 6 had a good start, but went bad after the first four episodes.

I was being sarcastic obviously, but yeah, that's true. Although even the beginning had the muslim camp thing and all that.

Also Alexander Siddig should have become Jack's "buddy cop" or something because they were pretty cool together.

First season.

24 is a good show but after season 4 its ultra repetitive and the plot becomes complete garbage
its praised endlessly on 4 chan because even if the show does a good job at not falling into dumb racism what pol sees is a white man killing minorities so its like porn to them

Name a more perfect season of a television show ever.

It's sad that it turned into a show solely about terrorism and bombs and shit like that. It's ironic because the first season was solely based on a very personal quest for revenge and was a fairly minor in it's threat level: how to save this one candidate from an assassination.

After that everything had to be bigger! And BIGGER! And B-I-G-G-E-E-E-R! After a while it all falls down with that thinking.

This... is pretty good. It really was. Also the cinematography in the first season of Lost was bloody awesome! Later on in turned into shit and that is very apparent when you compare the pilot and the fifth season episode where Jack wakes up in the bamboo forest in a similar manner.

Season 1-4

I agree. While I did enjoy most of the show, I wish they would have gone back to more personal plots every now and then instead of OMFG THIS NUKE WILL KILL MILLIONS GET ME THE PRESIDENT NOW!!!!

Get rid of that shitty Kate episode with the suitcase and muh toy plane and we've got a pretty much perfect season here.

Yeah and also that's another flaw. We really didn't need the president side of things in every season. I mean sure, during S2 it's understandable since it was the first big season, but after that...

S1 didn't have it. It had Palmer yes, but he was just another character and only a senator at that. We didn't see shit in the White House or Air Force One and it was not a necessary thing to have all the fucking time.

Oh yeaaaaaaahhh... that...

...shit...

President plots also got really silly. In fact, not a single president managed to serve a full term. They were either removed from office, injured, stepped down or finished someone else's term.

Pretty much yeah.

Lost season 1 is still the best 20+ season I have ever seen.

As much as I fucking hate Lindelof now I can never forget that masterful season.

Except for that shitty Kate episode I mentioned earlier, it really was a perfect ride. I didn't watch the first season while it was airing, but I bought the DVD set just before season 2 started. Watched four episodes the first night before I had to sleep. Then eight episodes when I got back from work Friday. When I woke up Saturday I popped in the next disc and marathoned the rest with only a few food and bathroom break. Nothing has ever been that engaging except maybe the first season of Prison Break.

The amnesia storyline really drags it down but season two is far superior.

>That fucking episode where Mason an heros himself with the nuke and says goodbye to his son

I should watch this show again

Hey thanks OP I've been looking for a new series to watch and you reminded me that I have never seen 24 and it should be right up my alley.

>I should watch this show again

If only there would be a fan version of S2 where all the Kim scenes are edited out. Now that would be almost perfect!

liberal propaganda

Kim shit dragged season 2 down too much. Especially when she met the cougar and that doomsday prepper.

Oh right, I forgot about the Cougar scenes, that was in S2 right? At least we got some nice scenes of Kim's ass as she runs.

What the hell happened to Cuthbet anyway? Seems like she was going to be big but then just fizzled into obscurity for a while.

She made The Girl Next Door, which was probably the worst of those early 00s American Pie ripoffs. Then she made House of Wax and that pretty much turned everyone against casting her in anything else worthwhile again.

My god did I fap to her shitty sex scene though.

she became a big puck bunny and got passed around the NHL

It was more of a homage to the 80s teen movies like Risky Business.

I understand this for a rewatch but when I watched this show for the first time those scenes were at least a nice build up to Her shooting her kidnapper and frantically calling Jack and then Jack coaching her to "shoot him again"
Hearing that was like having angel dust injected into my dick. I was pumped! It was just such a different route than other dramas would have taken. It was the moment i knew the show truly was different.

>start watching the show
>his daughter running around in that top makes my dick hard
>hope she gets gangraped when kidnapped so i can cum
>to few scenes for me to fap to
>stop watching after 2 episodes so i can fap
>cum watching blacked.com
>never turn on the show again

Well S6 was basically the Jack Bauer Family hour and it was dogshit

Nina was the perfect waifu.

Anyone got on The Girl Next Door webms? I remember watching that movie a few times but I never made it to the end due to how bad it was.

...

>better spy/action show than 24 that aired at the same time
>better JJA mindfuck show than Lost
>somehow got completely forgotten
Its endless plot twists and cliffhangers were mindblowing good back then, great Giacchino music, great action, etc. S2 was amazing

Does this series stay good in later seasons? I just started season 7.

I just finished S7 and it was a complete chore to get through, somehow even worse than 6. At this point I just watch any non-Jack scenes on x4 speed

I have to agree. Especially all the Rambaldi stuff made me giggle and in a good way. Also Sloane was a fucking GOAT villains - at the time. He had a motivation other than just being evil and thought that he was doing all the bad things for the greater good. Also Lena Olin as Sydney's mother... MILFFFFFFFF!

This was a pretty epic Sloane scene...
youtu.be/CCdOVOnFkdI?t=1708

But then the finale twist came and I kinda had the feeling that oh fuck this is all fucked.

Miss Bristow, I'm CIA

Also FUCK... and I mean FUCK that retcon of oh yeah nooooo no no no Sydney's daddy ain't the bad guy even though in the S3 finale it was pretty clear that Sydney was part of a Sydney Super Agent Project from the start and maybe Jack could be even worse than Sloane! Oh no no way! He just killed her mother. Even though the file title Sydney is reading clearly states otherwise, but yeah. He's good. She's good. All is good. And oh yeah, Sloane is back in the CIA and heeeey a soft reboot before a soft reboot was a thing. Fuck that shit.

No, it's because characters are lickable and action is good.
Story becomes meh only after season 5, because they've made a big mistake of making BIG CONSPIRACY.

Oh yeah, in the beginning Jack Bauer was really cool. A family man who just happens to work in a counter terrorist unit and there's something pretty bad going on behind those eyes - he just had that feeling that sure, he's nice and calm and social, but he can snap in any second or do something fucking wicked cool OH SHIT HE JUST SHOT MASON IN THE LEG! OMG!

What upsets me the most is the last arc of season 7. They bring Tony back and turn him into a terrorist to go after who? Some new guy who is now suddenly the man who was really behind day 5. Imagine how awesome it would have been if they had him go after Logan. What a missed opportunity.

Yeah, I wondered that at the time why it wasn't Logan. Would have been pretty obvious, but logical.

That's why I'm more excited about the reboot than finishing Season 8 at this point. Sup Forums already hates it because nigger lead but I'm curious to see if the writers can go back to something more grounded and action movie-ish instead of endless terrorist conspiracies

I got 4 seasons in and got bored.

It's always the same. 12-15 episodes on a terrorist plot, and then REVELATION in episode 16, and the final 8 episodes is about the REAL TERRORIST PLOT.

Alias was fun, but not better.
And not later seasons, oh no.

>tfw they left him in Russia

I liked that while on surface he seemed like a nice, charming dude (that haircut though), you could sense that he's capable of some bad things.

>on surface he seemed like a nice, charming dude

For hour 1 of day 1 only.

The dumbest thing was at the beginning of season 5 when a certain guy gets sprayed with a machine gun in the stomach and then ten episodes later he's revealed to be alive and well and it was all part of a plan to fake his death. I've seen some dumb shit, but that...

...

D-delete this!

>Ryan, is there anyone you wanna talk to?
>What do you mean? To say goodbye?
>To say whatever you have to.
>I have a brother I haven't spoken to in years. I don't have that many friends - just the people at work. So no, there's no one

I think Jack didn't reach his true beast form until S2E1.

>I'm gonna need a hacksaw

Crying Jack breaks my heart.

Hnnnnnnnng

Reminder that she is plotting Jack's rescue as we speak.

...

...

tfw my husbando was kiled

Serves you right for not choosing Jack as your husbando.

Jack was clinically dead at least twice

Jack is not for sexual

Yes he is.

Side characters had a hard life

Tell me about it.

>ywn be choked by Jack
youtube.com/watch?v=hcRVooQeODQ

Dunno what you're talking about

Jack definitely has a choking fetish.

That shitty fake beard

How can they make that short and not make a new season with Jack and Tony?

Kiefer specifically said he wouldn't do any more 24, man.
Though with DS going down the drain he's probably gonna change his mind for the $$$. Jack is his destined role until he's dead

>try to watch legacy
>new main actor has the charisma of paint drying
>his fucking brother is a better actor/more interesting

>not being sexually attracted to Jack

What the fuck is wrong with you?

DON'T SEXUALISE JACK

I think he will drink himself to death if the can't play Jack anymore.

Here's a (You) my brother, you deserve it.

The first couple of seasons were so much slower as well, but in a good way. After season 4 it became ctu finds a lead, Jack chases lead, Jack accidentally kills lead, oh, it's OK though chloe opened another socket and found another lead so Jack can chase that one, now the terrorist is just a patsy of another bigger terrorist/corporation/government, and being Jack is suffering.

That said, Jack rescuing heller and Audrey in season 4 was based

And the fucking cougar

Oops, thought you meant 24 season 2.that had a Kate and there was probably a suitcase somewhere along the line

>no-one at work liked him

>Kiefer specifically said he wouldn't do any more 24, man.
lol no he didnt

he actually said the opposite, that he was open to coming back.

Soooo suck a dick i guess.

Fuck that cunt. Cheap Nina ripoff.

youtube.com/watch?v=dCiageqMHJc

What's the most fucked up thing Jack's ever done?

youtube.com/watch?v=dCiageqMHJc

DUDE MERCATOR PROJECTION IS RACIST LMAO

That Christmas tree was a terrorist cell.

ist.
Correct.

Man, Jack is an asshole.

This was such bullshit. He could have just fired two shots in the ground and it would have had the same effect. 99% of the crowd wouldn't know if anyone got hit or not and a couple of shots is enough to cause a panic.
