you'll rarely find a good rec on Sup Forums. its mostly just the same ones posted over and over again. there might be 1 or 2 good threads a month tho. maybe check one of the post a pic, get a rec threads that are up every once in a while

Learn to describe movies further than "the cinematography was good" or "great editing".

Good way to do this is watch a movie to focus on a specific aspect and then keep track of what it does and why you think its that way. Doesnt evsn need yo be a good mobie and your why doesnt have to be right, just dp I ng it will make you better.

If you want to learn about film the first and best thing to do is actually watch film. Once you've got a broad enough base to start recognizing techniques, shot types, camera movements, and editing you can start working on learning about the technical aspects.
