How poor/rich are you, Sup Forums?

I literally wear everything made in China, I buy all of my stuff from aliexpress. From clothes to kitchen appliances.

Probably all of my wardrobe is worth 100 bucks only (about 40 usd I think, maybe less). I have to use only 1 soap bar per week, otherwise I'll be lacking those.

I have hot water on my shower but don't use it often.

I only have 1 jeans but it's starting to shred, it is discolored already and has some drops of paint on it from a previous job.

Feels bad man

Middle class. Drive a Mercedes and live in a $ 2 million house though so I can trick people into thinking I'm rich.

hi where can i donate to you

i pay $13 a month just on razors to shave.

pls adopt

the fuck?
you're rich as fuck bro, what kind of middle class has a mercedes and 2 million house

*adopts*

Jesus, what?
Buy a double sided safety razor for $30, and a pack of 100 double sided razor blades for $12.
Depending on how much of a hairy fuck you are, that pack can last you a minimum of two years.

I bought my pack of 100 razors over three years ago and I don't foresee myself running out for another 4 or 5.
I pay more for shaving cream and aftershave than I do for blades.

Poor as fuck, get 193 euromonies per week.

used to have a good income, but my mind shat itself and ruined everything.

was it the alcohol that did you in

I'm wealthy due to family connections and living/working in Manhattan. If you have the ability you should move to a large metropolitan area, it's the easiest way to earn a lot of money. Don't believe the cost of living meme.

>living/working in Manhattan
I live and work in the Bronx, make $100,000 a year and still think taxes are a bitch here.

How the fuck do you people afford commuting to work? Public transportation is expensive as balls.

Probably poor, but almost to middle class. My parents gave me a bad start but I'm doing better thanks to my schooling.

between working class and middle class, like most "normal people" here.

...

I spend $1500 a year on public transportation but I make $170k a year which is six times more working here than I would working in my family's home town, so it's completely worth it.

>just be yourself and move to the big city, bro. You will have connections in no time, like me who was born into wealth and connections from the start

If you are trying to sound convicing then I'm sorry to inform you that you are achieving the opposite.

he probably commutes by car, not public transportation I think?

>100 bucks (about 40 dollars)
one buck is one dollar dumbass

nah, just GAD/AvPD

is that enough to be a neet in Ireland?

this guy gets it

>If you have the ability
Next time try reading critically. And imo a lot of people have family connections and opportunities they let go to waste they could have seized on because of some misguided notion that you are not supposed to benefit from nepotism or favoritism. That's a ruse the lower classes convince themselves makes them better people, all to their loss. You should take every advantage presented to you in life.

Nope. Subway and walkin'.

Middleclass, wanna make it rich. Though I'll most likely wagecuck until I die (read kill myself)

Starting MechEng this year

>If you have the ability you can do it
>If you can do it you can do it

Tautological non-sense. What's your point again? Your "advice" is worthless.

Living in a shared house with 3 other people, in an used 30 dollar mattress and eat oatmeal with milk for my 3 meals, posting from a stolen Wi-Fi connection and have 35 dollars in my bank account

>a lot of people have family connections
This is a misunderstanding brought on by your upbringing

Try to understand that a significant and nontrivial portion of Americans are first or second generation, which implies that they have no family connections--at least none that will lead to upwardly mobile gainful employment or entrepreneurship.

As someone who has done that whole jig (I'm the $100k/year guy), I am not proud to say that I did it without using any connections whatsoever. I landed this job through pure luck.

In the end all I became was an example of how government funded college education is a thing worth keeping around.

>(read kill myself)
You'll probably get the urge throughout college. Just remember that your life hasn't even started yet.
When you graduate, that's your last easy chance at a fresh start at life. You'll be able to go anywhere and do anything you want, forget your past, and become a completely different person, within reason.

I'm 93rd-97th percentile in income in the US depending on who you ask.

Top .07% globally

Father owned a small and specialized manufacturing business that went bust during the 2008 liquidity shock.

Went from upper-middle class to precariat over night.

>wear everything made in China
so is it still a thing in your countries to believe if it is made in china/asia it is crap? in 2017?

broke as fuck

>poorer that 4 million people
you are a poorfag. i am in top 3000 richest people in the world. i am a self made billionaire. that's what happens after you post on Sup Forums long enough

How's your suicide planning coming along?

I make around $2,500/month. Fortunately, my cost of living is really low, so I'm still able to save money/ball out on fun stuff like drugs and books.

I am working class. I have lots of stuff, and I don't care about most of it.

is it still a thing for americans to be ignorant fucks?
I didn't say their products were bad, John Lee, I said I wear them, and that's because they are not expensive.

A good country is a country where 90% o the people are middle class and live well enough.

This
Also, entire families are shit. There are lots of people who would rather hold their own down than watch those with talent rise as they get left behind.

Not even the Scandis have 90% of the population as middle income.

I actually bought a Sup Forums pass. I'm constantly spending money on games on Steam but I barely buy any clothes.

I think upper middle class?
24 single making 130k canadian dollaridoos

My dad makes 80k a year so he is upper middle class, I guess.
I make 24k and i cannot tell if i would ever earn more than dad in my whole life
I would end up making 50k maximum.

Please tell us more about your version of socialism, which, unlike every other iteration of socialism that's been tried, will definitely work.

The one from Japan and South Korea.

South Korea has extremely high income inequality.

Stop being a commie, and stop being poor. It makes you look like a real cunt.

>If you have the ability you should move to a large metropolitan area
>should

I know English is probably not your first language but try harder.

You have your parents at the least if you are 2nd generation. You can go into the family business or at the least get a job working in the same place as them and see benefits from that. I have seen so many people who refused to get help from their parents out of a nonsensical idea that it was cheating or unethical.

I'm poor.

>you're rich as fuck bro, what kind of middle class has a mercedes and 2 million house
he did not say how high his debts are

we would be pretty well off, but 4 children cost a LOT of money, all go to university and sheet, that puts us down to lower middle class

>live off loan money
>just die someday

rich ppl cucked

ah yess

My wife and I make approximately 10k USD a month after tax. I own 800k usd worth apartment and 300k usd financial asset and no debt. I think I am upper middle class here.

Not rich. The Mercedes only costs me $400 per month, will probably be purchasing it at lease termination at which point the payment will lower to $345. The house is leased and I'm splitting the $4,000 per month rent with 3 friends. Any non-shit 4 bedroom home in a good part of Los Angeles is going to be worth at least $1 million here. My friends and I are all middle class. Me and one friend are upper middle (I make $19 and hour he makes $28)and the other two are lower middle ($11 and $15 per hour) but we just spend our money carefully so get to live comfortably.

I don't really use credit very much. Credit payments are about 10% of my income. I learned my lesson on overusing credit cards way back when I was 18. The only thing I have financed right now is my car which I'm planning to buy anyways, and got cheap through knowing dealership employees.

All Americans, from factory workers to millionaires, consider themselves middle class. Because they're idiots.

I'm poor since I'm a university student $80,000 in debt to the government but my family is quite rich.

I probably will also be quite rich once I graduate and enter the work force

>Probably all of my wardrobe is worth 100 bucks only
that's how much the cheapest item in my wardrobe is worth

glad I won the lottery and was born in Australia. My mum was a poor farm girl from Ireland and managed to make something of herself here

>look at my flag
>Take a Wild guess

He's talking about the brasilian real, and then comparing it to dollars

Nice try El Sueño

>what I earn

Top 0.48%

still living with my parents

>(I make $19 and hour he makes $28)and the other two are lower middle ($11 and $15 per hour) but we just spend our money carefully so get to live comfortably.

What the fuck dude. That's horrible wages for a middle class.

I made a little less than that, when I had a sabbatical year, at an unskilled factory job

mother's a nurse (specialist), father's a machinist (foreman), i'm a paramedic (not a technician), sister still in school.
i wouldn't exactly describe my economic standing as poor as of right now, in the past we used to be on the brink of complete poverty when my pops lost his job, we almost ended up on the street.

Definitely working class family.
I don't actually mind that much. Sure it would be nice to have shitloads of disposable income but we lived modestly our entire lives.

My gf is currently doing a physician's degree. I might just end up marrying up the socioeconomic layer, who knows.

Last year I earned 43 000€. I always have like at least 1000€ at the end of the month since I don't honestly know where to spend it all.
I already top tier electronics, decent car etc. Everything I need.
Maybe some day I'll take a year off and travel across the world.

Also I've inherited an apartment so I don't need to buy one.

Nice try El Sueño

Everything is literally 50% cheaper in the US than Denmark. $19 goes a long way here.

What does any of that have to do with anything I've posted?

Still, 19 isn't upper middle. That's less than 40k/yr, which is lower middle for the whole country. For L.A., 19 is not poor, but it's not really even middle class.

Seems pretty comfy to me. I have a nice car, afford rent in an awesome house, expensive clothes shop primarily at Bristol Farms, pay off utilities and still have more than a grand a\ left over for fun, investment and savings every month. Seems pretty middle class to me.

You’re in the top 20.67% richest people in the world.
That makes you the 930,288,570th richest person on earth.

I work as an offshore welder so money is no problem.
But I don't have expensive taste as in flashy brands and cars.
>buy all my clothes in outdoors/hunting shops
>drive a 20+ year old Volvo
>live in a normal house
My only expensive purchase each month is single malt whisky.

I earn little but have a quite good life. For example, I travel a lot, which is something important for me.

I don't spend money on extra clothes, or tobacco or alcohol or unnecessary stuff like that.

depends on what you mean. if you are talking about how much stuff i can buy, how often do i go abroad, what car do i own and so on, then i am above average by russian standards but poor by western standards

Shitty office job in the capital, so probably lower-mid. Moving to my own flat next year, grandparents help me cover the costs.

Working on my IT post-grad, hope I can break through.

I'm not debating your comfort level or your ability to spend/save wisely. I'm just saying that 19/hr is lower-middle/working class, even with lots of overtime.

I earn 38 000 SEK each month (around 4 700 dollars ) after taxes.
I have quite a lot saved away from an old inheritance and such.

Honestly have no idea what "class" I belong in.
I drive a 2012 Volvo S60 and live in my average house here 30 minutes outside a major city.
