On her majesty's secret service

Licence 2 Kill

I literally fell asleep during that one and never got around to finishing it.

Best imo is between From Russia, Goldfinger, and Living Daylights.

Best theme is View

Either From Russia with love, Goldeneye, Tomorrow never dies, Casino Royale or Spectre

Casino Royale. The rest (besides Timothy Dalton's brief run as Bond) just feel like smug self-important garbage, I'm really not a fan.

Goldeneye.

A View To A Kill is unironically one of my favourites.

The Living Daylights.

Also best theme song.

If you think David Craig is the best Bond you're not a Bond fan. You're a Bourne fan who mixed up the names.

WHEEEEEEEERE HAS EVERYBODY GOOOOOOONE

...

Austin Powers is the only good Bond movie, and even that series collapsed under the weight of its own shit

>best theme song
that's actually Licence to Kill

i'm sorry i got bond wrong, alan

Who's the best Bond girl? And why is it objectively her?

I don't know which one is the best movie, but my favorite is You Only Live Twice. I think it's the most fun one.

>License to Kill
You mean License to Kilt?

Best Blofeld by far

It would have been if she hadn't had nipple surgery.

Dead Bond girls are the sexiest

Roger Moore in that one film is correctly the best.

Best Connery: You Only Live Twice
Best Moore: The Spy Who Loved Me
Best Dalton: Licence to Kill
Best Brosnan: GoldenEye
Best Craig: Skyfall

Best overall: GoldenEye

...

The one where he assassinates trump

...

Why does Roger Moore get so much hate on here?

I love the cheese. I love the gadgets. I love the 80s. He's the best Bond but the best film goes to Goldeneye.

Lizenz Zum Toten

Goldeneye.

i don't think any bond film has aged particularly well at all

i liked craig-bond as he at least dealt with halfway legit shit. to begin with. like y'know private companies hoovering up water rights in Quantum of Solace

and it just goes in one ear and out the other for brainlets intent on hooting and clapping at VOLCANO BASES and KUNG FU ACTION so bond GETS THE GIRL while TAKING NO SHIT. also something something GADGETS idk

Why is Goldeneye so loved?

It's my favourite too. Is it an age thing? I just like the fact it's still got a Cold War vibe and a great villain.

>inb4 hurr durr nostalgia of Goldeneye on Nintendo 64

I never owned it but I played it

The Man with the Golden Gun, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, and A View To A Kill range from mediocre to terrible.

Cavill for new Bond?

>Why does Roger Moore get so much hate on here?
Because for some reason anonymous people still feel the need to present themselves as leet somehow, and contrarianism is the low hanging fruit they do for every time.

Moore has the worst movies, and by the end of his run looked like he was gonna keel over and die while banging awesome broads

Best: Casino Royale, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger
Worst: Die Another Day, Quantum of Solace, Thunderball
Overrated: Goldeneye
Underrated: Tomorrow Never Dies, You Only Live Twice

bond was explicitly a cold war relic in a post-soviet world. m even says this, out loud. it's in the opening montage with tina turner's music.

so it's the first half-way modern bond, where he couldn't just do cold war espionage things because a madman wanted to breed the perfect human then take over the world!!! or some such shit

They want Craig to stick around

Goldeneye
has best Bond girl, a tank chase and Sean Bean

Daltonfags help me out here, I really enjoyed both License to Kill and The Living Daylights, but can't decide which is better

>the last two bond films have been the highest-grossing means everyone loves Craig
i'm sure it had nothing at all to do with the gigantic fuss made about some kind of anniversary or anything

idris elba

youtube.com/watch?v=XgFtQPgHyek
youtube.com/watch?v=VBRXsAWBgFA

favourite bond themes, I barely even remember the movies even though I've watched them all
the craig ones were joyless tripe

oh dear. now you've done it

Both amazing films but I feel that LtK has the edge due to Bond going rogue and the darker tone of the story. The Living Daylights gets a bit boring when they get to Afghanistan.

It was the first James Bond film in six years. Between this and Casino Royale it seems like the best, most enduring Bond movies in popularity are the ones after longer periods of time
Of course they want him back, they spent 270 million dollars on one fucking movie and set up a OHMSS situation with the new girl, not to mention Christoph Waltz. They've banked too hard on setting up Bond as a sequential story and it's going to bite them in the ass if Craig leaves. Then what, are they going to pretend he's still the exact same Bond or are they going to reboot and do another origin story? Neither of those are appealing options

fpbp

No meme, he would've been a great Bond a couple of years ago but he's too old at this point

I love both. I don't think he's the best but he's certainly up there.

Living Daylights is good because of the Cold War link. Licence to Kill is good because it's a new setting and Sanchez is cray cray. Watched it as a kid and the shark scene and the powder crusher scene are one of the most memorable Bond scenes for me

'james bond is now a codename' - instead of how it is now where each bond movie exists in its own canon, picking and choosing from others as needed. problem solved, everyone can get back to being angry forever online about the actor playing bond, as is right and natural

James Bond should never be black. I don't care if he's fictional. He's written as a tall Brit.

Prove me wrong.

Never thought about that but yeah having an origin story for this Bond really hurts future Bonds since its gonna be difficult to reboot without people complaining

tall black british people exist, i'm sure. unless this is a setup for a trap where you post a picture of a really short black person or something

You know what else disappoints me about The Living Daylights is that Morten Harket from a-Ha was going to be the main henchman

I never even thought of that, I like it a lot. I actually wouldn't care who plays him then if it's set up like that, making it a legacy title. I personally don't care if he's black, just don't make him a woman.

a gay bond would be worse

No it's a set-up for the garage analogy

>I personally don't care if he's black, just don't make him a woman
i'd quite like to see a kickass lady secret agent doing bond things. i know it'll never ever ever ever ever happen and it would inevitably be all-things-to-all-people garbage, but it would be fun to watch i think

wasn't there a recent spy film where the protagonist was a lady but of course it was a comedy with fat jokes?

Imagine if we got Dalton in GoldenEye and Tomorrow Never Dies was Brosnan's first.

The Living Daylights has all the makings of the perfect Bond film as well as being a great movie in its own right.

>that opening
>the cello chase
>the aeroplane fight

Everything about it made it an instant classic.

Imagine if Brosnan's TV deal didn't fuck him over and he was Bond during Dalton's run

Casino Royale is the best movie and even that's "ehh yeah it's pretty good" tier.

Brosnan is obviously the best Bond, best theme would be the one Ace of Base did for Goldeneye but they never used it so now the best one is A View to a Kill.

It's easier to do best movie from each Bond.

>Connery
From Russia with Love
>Lazenby
OHMSS
>Moore
Mans with the Golden Gun
>Dalton
Living Daylights
>Brosnan
Goldeneye
>Craig
Casino Royale

Or Dalton in A View To A Kill? Would have made the love scenes less awkward, but the story would still be crap.

Imagine a hot girl with big boobs, sucking you off.

...

>best theme would be the one Ace of Base did for Goldeneye but they never used it
BASED user (get it?)
seriously though, the song is great

>black british people exist
Nope.

...

From Russia With Love is actually a bad movie.

>Imagine a hot girl with big boobs, sucking you off.
Remember when a hot girl with big boobs, sucked you off, fucked you with her tits and had you cum all over her.
FTFY
nice digits

"You see, Moneypenny, this woman has eight pussies. If you follow my meaning..."

Spectre is worse than Quantum of Solace.

actually that was the one that's really obviously a STAR WARS JUST HAPPENED WHAT DO bond in spaaaaace film

youtube.com/watch?v=BX1oHZ4BKZc
I absolutely love it up until the "Why don't they do it" lyrics kick in
Speaking of alternate themes, Thunderball had two pretty good ones including one by Johnny Cash
youtube.com/watch?v=R3rqS98seNA
youtube.com/watch?v=qSxT6mufIyM

Pretty much, except I might argue Casino is better than Skyfall

Despite all of our differences, we can all agree that this is the worst theme song

youtube.com/watch?v=VlLGJOoFqFk

Yeah but no one pretends that that one is actually good.

Bonds

>Best bonds

1.Connery
2.Dalton
3.Brosnan
4.Moore
5.Craig
6.Lazenby

>Best films

Thunderball
GoldenEye
The Living Daylights
OHMSS
Goldfinger

>Best themes

Nobody Does It Better
Live and Let die
Diamonds Are Forever
Thunderball
Tomorrow Never Dies

Daniel Craig's jaw is lacking desu.

spectre's worse

>ywn have a best friend cia agent that asks you to be his best man and you two capture a drug lord right before his wedding.

jdimsatbqhf

also

>tfw they turned felix into a dirty nig

Spectre's one of my favorites

kek. I love Roger Moore.
youtube.com/watch?v=yiWeqVYYI1c

a product of its time, i think

well, I wont argue about tastes
the maddona one at least has that violin line which is weirdly catchy
the sam smith song was just so terrible to me when I heard it, unmemorable and whiny (god that high pitched squealing)

But think of context. You really think a black guy would pass as a Russian, a Serb, an Italian etc? James Bond is a Cold War spy. Sorry but that rules black out.

STOP GETTING BOND WRONG

youtube.com/watch?v=TC8dWWImNzU

yeah I don't understand the hate for" View to a kil"l lol walken is a really great cartoon bad guy.

also "Goldeneye" is best

Goldeneye
dr no
goldfinger
thunderball
view to a kill
live and let die
the living daylights

worst

die another day
never say never agin
for your eyes only
skyfall
quantum of solace

I was sad Sharkey died

needless to say, i'm having the last laugh

Every time you serious reply to those idiots you own decrease your own intelligence.

>as if I forgot about the pressure scene

i'm almost certain that black people live in russia, serbia, and italy. i've never met one, but i'm sure it's possible.

and the days where a Master of Disguise TM could wear a big coat and dark glasses and tolk in a wery Russian accent, da, and squat-dance over border checkpoints don't exist any longer, if they ever did outside of, well, bond films.

I can definitely see why people wouldn't like it. Something about it just hits me in the right way
That's why it's a dumb question which Bond is the best, you're willing to forgive different things in different contexts and it's always going to come down to personal opinions. I personally like Skyfall and Octopussy but a lot of people don't and their viewpoints are perfectly as valid as mine

>i've never met one
a black russian, etc, that is.

>it's always going to come down to personal opinions
all these people wasted their precious time doing infographics with 'tiers' for NOTHING??

OH LITTLE BIT OF BUSH

Craig has only ONE good Bond film

Debate me

>Guys? I feel sorta weird. Uh... guys?

Well not nothing, it's always interesting to see what other people like about Bond movies you may not care for. That's the special thing about James Bond, out of 24 movies there's very few if any "terrible" ones. Even ones I don't personally care for like Die Another Day or Quantum of Solace have really interesting elements or parts that you watch and go "Oh, I like this bit a lot". That's pretty amazing for a series that's been around for 55 years now

If you think a black British agent going undercover in Russia you're retarded.

The right black guy could do it.

Before Craig, I was rooting for Colin Salmon... who played an MI6 staffer in the Broznan films

underated bonds

tomorrow never dies
dr no
diamonds are forever
view to a kill
