I believe in you Juno!
...
No such thing as the Jewno sattelite or sattelites in general.
>he thinks space is real
Oh look, it's Pluto's face on Pluto. How cute.
cuz the earth's flat?
what
>33 light minutes from earth
>live
nice try Jupiter shill
what are you on and where do I get some?
what does this mean?
Why is it getting farther from Jupiter
THEY WHITE FOLKS SPENDIN MONEY ON SPACE AND SHEEEEEIIT INSTEAD OF GIBBIN ME DAT
HYPE
because it passed perijove
I want to be this dumb, what must I do to achieve this level of stupidity?
Share your secrets to being so retarded m8s
YAY IT WORKED
YEY!
SO DID WE DO IT
ARE WE AT JUPITER
usa usa
YES
PREPARE FOR 10 MONTHS OF HIGH RES JUPITER IMAGES AND VALUABLE DATA
Now we can see the secret lizzard man base and portal to hell.
nice new wallpaper i guess
THREAD THEME
Basically Juno has been flying on a "straight" trajectory this whole time and has finally arrived at Jupiter and shot its engines in the opposite direction to lose speed and fall into Jupiter's gravity well, hopefully coming in at the precise angle and speed to put it into a stable elliptical orbit it can monitor the planet from.
The part where it has to shoot its engines in the opposite direction and stay in low power mode as it does these adjustment maneuvers is what's scary because they can't really see what's happening and they won't know if it went wrong until it's way too late.
>inb4 Jupiter collapses and becomes a second Sun
IS IT GOING TO SEE OR STUDY IT'S MOONS TOO
OR JUST JUPITER
Both, I imagine. Won't have nearly as long a life as Galileo.
Just Jupiter. Although who knows with these things and NASA. Usually they fly them into the planet or the sun, but they might have extra fuel for something cooler if they're lucky. Most of the time they're spot on with the math, though. So it'll most likely be sent into Jupiter's atmosphere.
Excellent.
We've been getting a lot of great science data from Pluto and Ceres, now we'll have more for Jupiter.
I only regret that the next Mercury mission got it's lander portion cancelled. Mercury is really under loved.
Someone wanna fill me in?
Is it a live stream of the actual spacecraft we can watch, or just a countdown thing or what
Because the stream is just people in fetal positions with cameras
Mercury a shit
WE JUPITER NOW
All I'm seeing is a very very rare pepe.
I wanted to see space niggers not this shit,
Fuck you. We don't even know enough about it to call it a shit.
We Jupiter again, for like the eighth time now.
Pioneer 10, Pioneer 11, Voyager 1, Voyager 2, Galileo, Cassini, New Horizons, and now Juno.
Imagine if Mercury has a massive amount of diamond from all the pressure and heat it withstands.
Cannot unsee
Wrong. That is the hexagon on Saturn.
Second orbit though, and most dangerous one.
>current year
>trusting the spacefaring Jew
Craft will be mysteriously lost as it approaches Jewpiter, their homeworld.
then we still cant get there safely
GOT DAMN IT
whats juno doing differently?
why are we sending so much shit to Jupiter? the only interesting thing is its moons
Everyone knows that Jews come from the asteroid belt, the remains of their home planet. Their home planet exploded after the Jewsians mined into it's solid gold core.
But the monolith is at Jupiter.
USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA
Studying water in Jupiter's atmosphere, electromagnetic fields, testing anti-radiation shielding, ect.
What did Google mean by this?
Good choice
Robotic mining ships will be the future.
honsetly nasa still needs to stay current
no one cares about it like in the 60's-80's
kids only want 20 something lets players, and minecraft
sad, but the reality we live in
There will be presidential candidates 50 years from now who have privated hamster dance videos on youtube
Yeah, once we set up bases on Mars that can launch from Mars to the asteroid belt, it'll be considerably easier to mine asteroids.
...
Jupiter has tons of Helium 3 in its atmosphere
Ever play Halo 2? An installation like the one with the heretics would be possible to "mine" Jupiter. It would be cheaper and more efficient than a lander that had to find a spot then drill into the crust and extract the minerals. Helium 3 has one of the biggest yields as a nuclear energy source and also has no harmful byproducts.
.
Maybe Lando is there in a Cloud City
...
Aaaand it's destroyed :/
BS
We're trying to figure out a way away from you.
You can have it all once we leave.
Top kek
Hitler lost.
Even though white guys make excellent engineers we can't have A FUCKING WHITE MALE on the Juno mission team.
We must import indian engineers, put in bearded lumbersexuals, and put in white women based on diversity quotas.
Are you triggered?
Diversity card hires aren't on design teams.
They come out for photo ops only.
Spacecraft is safe from wearing fake glasses and pink haired fatties.
(((Google))) cannot help but erase white accomplishments.
> One white male
> Two blacks
> The blonde woman next to the black man
I just realized something. They never try to erase the accomplishments of white Jews. Just white goy.
Why is Sup Forums always right?
...
Fixed from the other thread.
Agreed; but only if you live on a flat Earth.
Just Jupiter, short life because close in = heavy radiation & magnetic damage
(((Ju)))piter
nice try OP
Not "the sun" - need LOTS of delta V (fuel/energy) to escape planetary orbit and redirect to sun.
Investigating how the gas giant formed, does it have a solid core, etc.
The bearded one is probably white male, though in truth who cares? And white included dudes with spray tans i.e. the orange individual but yet again, who cares
>go onto nasa twitter
>there are videos of the nasa team
>not one black guy, all of them are white
Praise Kek
twitter.com
surely there is a logical explanation
Not if kek has anything to say about it
Jupiter was already a second sun in the past. They called it "the primordial sun". It was probably a brown dwarf.
Jupiter has big.
jupiter didn't even have the mass to become a dwarf star, it's why we're not in a binary system right now
>Jupiter was already a second sun in the past
no
>Muslim intellectuals
Anyone know what a Jupiter American flag would look like?
Pic related as an example for the moon?
>German education

this is the main mission of Juno
