Is it even useful in today's society?
Give me a good reason to learn Japanese
there's literally no reason
animefags and weeaboos btfo
Learn a useful language like Chinese or Spanish or something like that instead senpai
nope
I already know Spanish and I don't like Chinese
To fuck a Jap woman
Good post
Really makes you think..
Well posted
>learning a language to fuck women
the ultimate beta motivation
bait
fuck off monkey
t. salty monoglot
t. learned japanese to fuck some ugly jap gaijin hunter
Nah I don't speak any chink language
But it seems like a fair reason to me
The only good reasons are:
1. A dream job in Japan.
2. An irreplaceable woman of Japan that wants (and you want) to marry. But first, she needs to speak English, if she's not brazilian Japanese.
how useful can it be if has no love for chinese or hispanic culture and don't intend to develop any.
Just learn the languages you want to learn and don't bother with supposed usefullness
t. american under proxy
>UK
sasuga!
>Is it even useful in today's society?
This question makes no sense.
Meh unless you want to visit or study there.
It'd probably be more useful if you learned a coding language instead.
I have no 2 except she doesn't want to marry me so i'm torn
Only for Anime Or useless
Your country language + perfect english that's enough
Get rekt by their shitty writing system.
Watching anime without subs is pretty much the only reason.
>coding language instead
I think you mean learn and apply the syntax? that can be done in a month while japanese takes years
Japanese is a language which isn't worth learning unless you spend hours per week learning it for a good reason
As a job?
Well Japan has a pretty big economy, if you have a legit degree like engineering or international business or something like that there are some good job oppurtunities with it.
Other:
Translation:
There are a lot of Brazilian born Japanese as far as I know, so there would be a lot of competition there I imagine. Maybe you would be better off going for a language pair that is rarer in your country but there is still a demand for it. You have to do your research.
Teaching:
You could teach it to weeabos there is a lot of interest for Japanese all over the world, but usually as soon as they realize that Japan doesn't equal anime they quit.
So you'd be probably always teaching the basics.
If your sole motivation is money, then do something else, it takes a really long time to be proficient in Japanese and during that time you could probably learn something that gets you a better paid job.
If you are passionate about it you can make a living of it, if you are proficient, but you'll need some dilligence.
