If capitalism is infallible

then how come small businesses are dying?

Whats this map of? Biggest businesses?
Texas has exxon, im pretty sure that overides DP.

Because capitalism is long gone.

>Florida
>hooters

Never change

I think it where these businesses started.

...

Not in my country though.

That's not real capitalism :^)

Hookers

>how come small businesses are dying?

They're not.

Now go back to r/socialism.

It works a whole lot better when multinationals aren't allowed to donate to politicians in return for legislation that kills the small businesses.

this, my specific, perfect, entirely infallible brand of capitalism has never been tried

Fucking Oklahoma, gas stations are top revenue lol

>Tax the living shit out of everyone
>Make no discrimination between small and large businesses
>Make no discrimination between self-employed and corporate-employed people
>Keep bailing out huge businesses
>Punish success, reward failure
>Expect small businesses not to suffer

Large businesses can absorb losses that small businesses can't. It isn't "capitalism" that is killing small businesses, it's government-imposed expenses that crush people who don't have unlimited corporate backing and holdings diversified over fifty states.

You don't get to blame the free market for something the government did. That isn't how it works. If you want small businesses to thrive, maybe call your senator and tell him to stop beating them up and taking their lunch money.

>how come small businesses are dying?

Because liberals force policy makers to artificially raise the minimum wage in places like Washington and Oregon so that big corporations can still operate while small businesses can't afford to maintain employees.

PLEASE, THIS IS A SERIOUS DISCUSSION

I'm not liberal, I'm not communist, and I think more socialism is NOT what we need.

But I'm curious. I've noticed that many small businesses around where I've lived have been replaced by huge mega corporations.

Is this good? Will it stop? Why can't the local businesses compete?

Are you kidding me? You don't even live here, retard. Small businesses have been eradicated.

The thing is, it's not capitalism that's doing it. It's corporatism. We keep enacting regulations and imposing barriers to entry that destroy small business. It's the opposite of capitalism doing the work.

>muh small businesses meme

New Mexico is non-profit healthcare charity.

How is it a meme?

>Tax laws so absurd that people make entire careers out of min-maxing them
>no guys, this is totally capitalism we swear, now keep dumping money into your 401k or we'll take it from you.

It's been tried quite a few times, and it always goes pretty good until Jews decide to start printing money and giving it to whoever they like.

>Hooters
Get that whore garbage off my state
Winghouse is 10x better and the girls aren't vomit inducing sluts

Hooters is world wide though faggot. You can laugh all you like but literally everyone else partakes in that garbage establishment

Because of heavy government regulation.

What so you're saying this shit was advertising? Fuck off then, you're not getting my tourismbux

Is Starbucks a larger Washington based business than Microsoft?

You know, at least CAT, Cummins, Bobcat, GE, shit even GM, actually make stuff. Maybe it isn't always the best but its still the kind of products with a lot of backward linkages you'd want to see in a healthy economy. The rest of this shit? God what the fuck how can shit like Starbucks, Denny's, Sonic and Best fucking Western really be that strong. That's just fucking garbage.

What's wrong with hooters? It's overpriced, but when it was across the street from the old stadium it was a great place to see post game tits and beer

Small businesses choose to die.
When your start a business, you can either keep growing and growing until it becomes a big business. Or you can be complacent as a small business and that's fine, but it will eventually die or be bought.

because state regulations are killing their ability to grow

1) Obamacare. (government)
2) Insurance regulations. (government)
3) Limited taxes on imports (government)
4) Local, State, and Federal permits, taxes, and fees. (government)
5) "Too big to fail" banks and corporations. (government)
6) The Jews.
7) "Too big to jail" politicians shilling regulation, tax, and legal breaks for large businesses that donate to their campaigns. (government)

>Gee, capitalism is failing. I know! The Government will help!

Also, wtf is a Taco John's? Is it any good?

Over regulation, over taxation, and an inability to grow due to health care laws and difficulty securing loans from potential investors.

Next question.

Government keeps making stupid laws which prevents small business to expand

>campbell's soup
>biggest business in new jersey
you seem to have forgotten governor christie's daily excretions

This, Wal-Mart lobbies for raised minimum wages.

Capitalism is a sham. National Socialism all the way. Seig Heil!!

Minimum wages and increased regulations. Small businesses can't afford to overhaul when new regulations come out or Labour prices are inflated.

Larger companies can. Big government begets big businesses and smaller businesses are driven out via over regulation.

then it's not capitalism

what you're describing is the keynesian economy

Weird, she looks great from the side angle but looks terrible from the front and from behind...

Have none of you ever heard of economies of scale?

Government regulation kills small businesses.

The weight of compliance is absurdly large on a small business, but negligible for a large one.

The biggest effect is on self-employment.
People are cuckolds and wage slaves because of government abusing its authority.
