Hubby couldn't afford a g-wagen?

>approaches us

>goes out of gas

I was blown away by how it was unbelievably quiet in one of these btw

Euroshits never know the ultimate form of luxury which is not having to bother with cranky manual shifting and just cruising relaxed and comfortably.

isn't manual also preferred in nipland

Hate fucking suvs and crossovers and the like.
They solely exist for mothers who are too insecure to drive a minivan

europeans have become quite familiar with large motor vehicles recently

Get out of the way burgers.

...

Whatever Cornelius, this looks fucking baller.

>Cornelius
Haven't heard that one

>HEY, STOP IT ROIGHT THERE

Wow thanks for ruining everything, Potomac.

Well maybe you shouldn't have forgotten your image you silly goose

Almost 99% of newly registered cars in Japan are equipped with automatic trannys.
Three padal manuals are too painfully annoying to operate in city traffic

They are the ultimate cancer. They want to protect their kids but their shit driving combined with a massive vehicle just means they're going to kill whoever they inevitably run into with their boats on wheels, and probably when their kids aren't even onboard considering how most of the ones I see have the moms driving them alone.

>get taken to jail
>have to run after police car because no space

Do these VW sedans sell well over there in Europe?
What's the point of buying them when more premium brands such as BMW or Mercedes offer nicer cars with an actual automotive design to talk about at almost the same price point?

>hungarian
>aryan
nice try chong.

he's an american english teacher, don't listen to him

>an american nigger talked to me

day ruined

VW is THE German family car, and therefore THE family car in Europe.

But do european families still buy sedans in general?
SUVs and vans are much more spacious and practical, and high speed stability merits of sedans don't seem to matter much for most non-German euro countries with no autobahn.

this

>family car
its skoda imo

>modern volkswagen
>any year since the late 90s
fucking lmao

you're better off getting a skoda because only a drooling amoeba would pay a premium for a modern vw.

>SUVs and vans are much more spacious
there's a top gear video on youtube where clarkson was comparing luggage space b/w a RR and a MB/bmw station wagon, they were about the same but a car is easier to drive

>gets stuck in small streets of Prague

I want this

why are even the cars in america fat?????

what a beauty

Make way for The Car. I used to have one just like in the pic, too bad I had to sell it for nothing when I didn't have the money or time to fix it.

The fucker had almost 700'000km on the clock, which I doubt many modern cars will ever reach.

>Big BLACK AMERICAN CAR

DADDY

Interested in a race, low PS loser?

Off the way you Ameriturds!

>posts american car
>europlates

Why do soccermums loves to drive these vans.

oh go referendum yourself

>which I doubt many modern cars will ever reach
its because of the fucking downsizing and planned obsolescence.
current cars are designed for 200k km max.
it would be no problem at all to design cars that reach 1m km at least and easily.
but what stockholder wants something like that?

how many plants do MB have? i want to buy one but i don't want to be made in turkey
im thinking of coming to reichland for that if i have to
also when would you say planned obs settled in

Old cars are uneconomical anyway. It can be a nice hobby project, though.

Your theory doesn't work with the notion that electric cars will/are more long lasting than their fuel guzzling brethren.

>its because of the fucking downsizing
No, it's because of people who for some reason are afraid of a car that has less than 90 horsepower.
Small engine is fine, but if you're desperate to squeeze 120hp from a 1.1 turbo engine it's bound to shit the bed within the first 200k.

If you're scaling down, scale down for real.
My grandfather's W123 has 2 litre diesel that's been doing 50 horsepower and had somewhere around 800k on the clock.

>My grandfather's W123 has 2 litre diesel that's been doing 50 horsepower
truest nigga

and enough torque to plow a field kek

...

oi m8, let me see your sidewalk license

lol

>drives into other americans
that'll teach those fucking euro shits

perhaps, you want one sir?
if yes, just stop liking pagani

Free Texas¡

Free California¡

hey hey guise, don't fight please
pls be happy, hate more pagani, and buy more koenigsegg

OUT OF THE F*CKING WAY, TECHNOLOGICAL SCUM!!!

speaking of cars does anyone outside of france buy french cars?

All of Europe

My friend had a puegot in H.S. that the muffler fell off of on the highway.

this
t. renault owner

My dad had a Peugeot 505 in the 80s-90s
then a Renault 19 from 90s to late 2000s
and a Renault Megane since then
they just happened to hit the sweetspot between price, performance and reliability
The Renault Clio and Peugeot 206 are also popular on the 3 door hatchbacks segment like VW Golf and Ford Fiesta and Ka
There's also Citroën, but they're way more unusual

>breaks down due to poor manufacturing standards

my first car was a renault megane.
the engine itself was great and even after 300000km not a single problem. (bought the megane with 50000km and sold it with about 320000km)
but the complete electrics - like really all of it - broke down. some of it even multiple times like the electric windows or the door locks or the automatic lightcontrol or the radio or the rear window heating or the motors of the windscreen wipers or the sensors for the airbags.
everything apart from the engine and the metal or plastic body was completely utter shit.
but in the end i loved my megane and it was cheap af.

>spacious and practical
>in europe

You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. High taxes, high gas prices, almost impossible to navigate some streets, let alone find a parking slot. Also many europoors will think you are a tool for driving one.

Americlap style SUVs/Vans don't work here.

>Americlap style SUVs/Vans
on top of the very bad steering and chassis in general the interior is a bad joke.
you cant trade off missing quality in materials and workmanship simply with a ridiculous amount of cup holders.

>europeans get out of the way
>the president still get shot

>American "" cars""

youtube.com/watch?v=Xl25S7hy8mo

You can't sell Sedans for shit here.

agreed

How about that:
You take all that money you save by not driving a W123 and instead drop a new engine in your downsized car.
Beside, 200.000 km as a limit is bullshit and people exaggerate. Usually 300.000 km is not a problem for a PROPERLY MAINTAINED and MODERN engine with FOUR CYLINDERS AND NOT THREE.

Compression is not what kills an engine and neither is lack of displacement. It would be easy if you could just say that. But it isn't. It's a truly complex matter.

>200.000 km as a limit is bullshit
I'm working for VW and all German Automotive OEM build their cars for a runtime of 200.000 Km. This is an official thing, not a rumor.

This is bullshit because this number comes from leasing-financing services, who say that the car is not worth anything after 200.000km. It's a number everybody uses but nobody knows where it comes from. BMW's number is even lower, like 150.000 km.

The truth is that people want a new car after 150.000 - 300.000 km and then sell it. It's not that they break UNDER PROPER MAINTENANCE.
In fact, those cars are sold to Africa and the Middle East and people are driving the shit out of these cars. Nothing gets wasted, everything is repaired and refurbished and resold over and over again.

>needing roads

I'm not talking about the average mileage that could reached with proper service and taking care of it. When the engineering is done and the materials are chosen, they have a lifespan for defining the requirements. That's where the 200.000 KM stem from. It's not about the worth of a car. Especially for leasing agencies a car is worth nothing after 2-3 years and 100.000 KM. Maybe 10-20% of the initial price.

Pretty much all yanks with money drive range rovers if they want an SUV lel

>When the engineering is done and the materials are chosen, they have a lifespan for defining the requirements.

What is this supposed to mean?
Beside, there are taxis with downsized engines doing 400k+. This is because they maintain them.

Also, what can go wrong anyway? The reasons for a total engine failure are mostly because of skipping maintenance intervals or mistreating the engine. All the critical parts are replaced piece-wise within service intervals because every part has an expected expiration date. And I don't think you mean that, because 200.000km would be damn high for most parts and this would also imply you could go 200.000km without maintenance.

It's not about the expandable parts like the braking system, pads etc. but the whole system with engine, drivetrain, chassis etc. When designing parts of a whole system like a car you have to have a target for the lifetime. Obviously you could build a car that lasts 500.000 KM with thicker materials etc but they chose to build a car with an expected lifespan of 200.000 KM.
You can easily go beyond this point and drive a car much much longer but ahead of 200.000 KM everything get's much more unreliable. Also Taxis with 500.000-1.000.000 KM do have 2 or more complete new engines, drivetrains and corresponding parts. In the vast majority of all cases the main problems don't come from the casted engineblock but parts like the turbos and all the electrical parts.
Again: I don't say that a car above 200.000 KM is trash. It's what the engineers use as an expected or target runtime of a car while constructing it.

Muslims call Europeans "speedbumps"

The Escalade outsells the rover though

>americans will never ever own this

God damn that's actually a pretty sexy car, well done Asspain
