Name a film, role, or actor involving a black that was GENUINELY great and worthy of being acknowledged.
This should be interesting

>I look at acting through the eyes of identity politics
You need to stop that shit right now friend. Do you know how cringe worthy it is hearing "THA WITE MAN" over and over by you loser 16 year olds? It's pathetic but at least one day you'll grow out of it.
Flight. Flight is pure cocainekino.
Denholm from Peep Show. He was also in part of season one of Leftovers.
Denzel Washington in The Book of Eli.
Matrix, Gladiator, Empire Strikes Back, Shining, Pulp Fiction, Jurassic Park, Apocalypse Now,
Pol used to be mostly "non-white". Then the Trumpvasion happened and Sup Forums turned into r/politics.
Daniel Kaluuya's performance in Get Out is absolutely fantastic and worthy of praise.
Secrets and Lies

Didn't see that, but Chadwick Boseman was impressive in that James Brown movie. I thought I was looking at real life footage for a good minute.
Try harder next time, loser.
Please refrain from any further use of ebonics in this web-zone.

The Pursuit of Happyness
Shawshank redemption
Very good movies, and not all their roles have been acted as high as these two.
While I truthfully, like anybody else with 2 neurons, consider these
trash.
Most black actors can't act or are rubbish, many getting their roles through the black actors guild or token diversity roles.
>inb4 samuel jackson is a good actor
He plays himself in every movie, but does it better each time.
>lists Shawshank Redemption as good
>calls other guy who lists Shawshank Redemption trash
I thought I was the only person who saw that.
Also: Fuck the Security Guards
Apocalypse Now is an obvious and undeniable one.
Hotel Rwanda
What the fuck has any of this got to do with liberalism?
King Kong
>muh librul boogeyman

Laurence Fishburn in multiple things
Training Day
Crimson Tide
Cicely Tyson in general.

imagine being so triggered by black guys, that you can't enjoy a film with a black actor.
Gone with the Wind is the main one I'm thinking of. Mammy is a legendary character. Sure, she's a little bit of a stereotype... but when you think of the setting (1860's South) she is indicative of the time and manages to make us smile and laugh even in the midst of a very terrible era.
Another one, although the film flew under the radar, I feel, was David Oyelowo in Queen of Katwe. I loved his performance and character in that. The movie (all black, by the way) was as story that (shockingly) had nothing to do with skin color. It was as story about a smart, talented black girl (no way!) and treated them like human beings. David was a missionary who helped impovrished kids and taught a kid to follow her dreams, etc, get inspiring story. You should see it.
But they're right - there aren't as many notable black performances as there are white roles. Rather than say this is the result of an active oppression or some kind of anti-black conspiracy, I'm going to chalk it up to the actual race statistics in this country and just sheer happenstance.
>everyone saying shawshank and pulp fiction
>>>>imdb
post a picture of yourself faggot
Is Denzel the only good nigger actor?
No other colored comes even close.
Ghost Dog
Green?
I REALLY like Denzel. He's smart, talented, and redpilled as fuck
The Thing
Go watch the wallet scene again and come back.
You could name good black actors all day. Denzel Washington, Samuel L Jackson, Michael Clarke Duncan, Lance Reddick, Terry Crews, Forest Whitaker, Don Cheadle, Danny Glover, Michael B Jordan, Keith David, etc etc
Sup Forums hates politically correct bullshit but you're retarded if you think there are literally no good black people in movies/tv
a black what?
Darth Vader
>Keith David
>The Thing, Princess Mononoke,Requiem For A Dream & Coraline
He's 10/10
