MY BOI BEN

Liquor & whores

>Lay was barely over four feet tall and wore clothes that he made himself. He was a hunchback with a projecting chest, and his arms were as long as his legs.

You missed the best part.

>Throwing his overcoat aside, he spoke his prophecy: “Thus shall God shed the blood of those persons who enslave their fellow creatures.” He raised the book above his head and plunged the sword through it. As the “blood” gushed down his arm, several members of the congregation swooned. He then splattered it on the heads and bodies of the slave keepers. His message was clear: Anyone who failed to heed his call must expect death — of body and soul.

Truly the second best Benjamin to ever live, after Benjamin Franklin of course.

What about Judah P. Benjamin?

I'm talking about people with the first name Benjamin, not last name.

The worlds only remaining dreadnaught type battleship, the USS Texas. Built in Virginia (British design). status:
Museum ship at San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site San Jacinto County
Texas

I await the day the US builds a battleship large enough to be considered a floating city. DO IT NAO!

It's called Key West
The battleship part is secret.

Really though, the only people even remotely capable of making an aquatic city is you guys, so get to it!

>aquatic city

They call it New Orleans haha.

*ba dum tsh*

>the only people even remotely capable of making an aquatic city is you guys
The dutch reclaimed a province from the fucking sea

danish did that aswell
hell reclaiming land isnt even that much of a big deal anymore

The oilniggers in UAE do it all the time

That's just putting up a large wavebreaker. USA could make a city sized vessel in case Waterworld ever happens (and just for the hell of it). Your biggest carriers already have around 5000 men serving on them, turn that same model into a non-combat one and add some space.

I made a thing.
R8 pls.

>that one time napoleon finished a fort in the middle of the english channel because ''Lel fuck you england''

Neato

Havin fun making countries for Victoria 2, lads

Why not hoi4 :)))))))))))))))

busy making finno korean hyper war mod (FKHW)
adding 50 gorillion cores is SO FUCKING BORING

no progress at all since college started

>vidya
>no progress at all
sounds about right

Why does history get so boring after WW1 ?

WW2*

ww2 was interesting but nothing after it was

I've never bothered trying to make an actual mod.
Merely adding countries.
also
> finno korean hyper war mod (FKHW)
kek

WW1 was objectively more interesting though.

I am a good old rebel,
Not that's just what I am

sh-shut up
i told /gsg/ about it once and they all seemed to like it

you can read about what lore I'm using (conflicting lore means I get to pick and choose) if you want boards.fireden.net/vg/thread/187403348/#187424181

yes, it was
doesn't mean ww2 was boring

Vietnam and Korea were interesting.
The middle east is interesting.
The history of every day stuff like country music or rock climbing is interesting.
Weird little political events like the Oka crisis were interesting.
Talking to old people about that time when they were teenagers and would dip the girls' braids in the ink wells at school to get their attention is interesting.

that was a good kek
not a bad kek

how far into it are you?

The US made WW2 boring. At least in the media sense.

>Vietnam and Korea were interesting.
'no' in every sense
>The middle east is interesting.
kinda, but not really
>The history of every day stuff like country music or rock climbing is interesting.
my parents are interested in that but I'm just not for some reason
>Weird little political events like the Oka crisis were interesting.
valid
>Talking to old people about that time when they were teenagers and would dip the girls' braids in the ink wells at school to get their attention is interesting.
not really history in the same sense but yes I love doing that

They really did. You hear only about Germany and the US in the war. Nothing else. Also muh hall of cost

about 40%. I said no real progress since college started, so most of what I have is just untested event/decision code written down in a notepad document

I don't want to abandon it but I might have to until next semester or so.

It's better. That way no-one know about our fuckups.

>>Vietnam and Korea were interesting.
>'no' in every sense
U ABSOLUTELY WOT

name 1 (one) interesting tidbit about the korean war

put your paypal, i'll give you 1 dollar if you can actually get me interested

The Korean war was a shitfest on all sides.
>NK is reckless and attacks even after Mao tells them to fuck off we aren't ready for your bullshit
>USSR tells them simply "No"
>Kim il-sung does it anyway
>MacArthur is a recless bastard as usual
>Muh Nukes!!! Bomb it so hard Korea becomes an island!!! 200 year nuclear corridor!!!
>Chinese intervention
>The borders stay almost the same

battle of Chosin Reservoir

You're leaving out Vietnam from that wager? Fishy...

Anyways, all jokes aside I find the Korean war interesting largely because it represents the conflict between the Korean people's loyalties. North Korea was motivated by an old and out-dated view of the world in which every man woman and child needed to pledge loyalty to some form of governmental authority very much like the imperial systems of yore. South Korea believed in looking to and emulating the west as a means of improvement. They wanted to leave the old system in the past and rebuild from square one in order to attain a better existence for their people. In a way, this was the last remnants of the old world upon which humanity and the global playing field is built refusing to fade silently into obscurity. Thousands of years of human nature accumulated to give one last push against the progression of time.
Idunno, I just think it's cool from a philosophical point of view.

Korea upped the retardation of confucianism by 11.

That's a good way to put it.

>North Korea was motivated by an old and out-dated view of the world in which every man woman and child needed to pledge loyalty to some form of governmental authority
>old and out-dated
you taKE THAT BACK RIGHT NOW

also I see the intrigue in the philosophical point of view, doesn't make the war itself that interesting though.

No step on snek, commie.

>doesn't make the war itself that interesting though.
Sometimes things are deeper than the first seem at face value. Going only off of physical events is a very 2D, black and white way of looking at the world methinks.

it might not be old and out-dated if the Kims' version of it wasn't completely autistic.

If you look at the original works and how it was put into practice in China, it fuctioned as a social net for the elderly, and a solidifying force to keep the continuing thread of history together.
It somehow turned into whatever NK is currently doing. I guess the people of the Korean Peninsula have a tendency to take things too far.

gib king cake pls

into the trash he goes
it's a shame because the rest of his platform is pristine

>lecturer assigns a massive amount of reading material
>had my first exam today
>literally everything was straight from lecture

>skipped almost all my classes today because i sent a note saying i was sick from the surgery
>decided to go to one just because i felt like it
>turns out there was an oral presentation that i completely forgot about today
>studied off my phone and literally came up with a script while i was in class waiting for my turn to come up
>presentation went perfectly
>presentation was about how trial and error and just winging it is the path to success
>presentation was obviously correct
got a 100 on a major project i didn't know i had until today

i'm either really lucky, unlucky enough to think small victories are signs of luck, or god cares about my grade in an elective course for some reason

I hope you get aids.

>implying i won't end up dying a virgin

Good job, son.

I still hope you get aids.

>have a public speaking class
>try on my first speech
>have notes and everything
>practice it
>completely fuck up the presentation, stutter through the whole thing
>get a 65
>decide I don't care about this class anymore
>write my second speech the day before I present, don't practice at all
>get a 100, professor tells me my speech was great

>in chem
>carefully add exactly whatever volume to whatever volume
>carefully do everything
>72% accuracy

>next time
>yeah that looks around 50 mL
>i'll just round for this water
>oops added 4 drops instead
>100% accuracy on the dot

i do this with all of my presentations
winging it is the best way to do it (even though i never show up to any of the classes)

t.best notes on presentations in the whole class

maybe if i had a gf or friends that i actively want to spend time with i would go outside more often

i wish there were more men in arts

There are plenty of men in arts.
They're just all faggots.

i mean yeah
there is actually more effeminate beta-males than actual gay people in arts
i wish there were more dudes in arts, the handful of people that are like that get dissed by both students and the teachers because they dont ''fit in'' and they stop going
like me
I got called fascist and got belittled by it by a professor of all people

>I got called fascist and got belittled by it by a professor of all people

what for?

she was a really militant commie
i got into alot of arguments with her.
Weirdly liked that side of me, cause the rest of the pussies in my class couldnt even defend themselves.
I called her bullshit about how she always used her higher position as a teacher to win arguments and to get off her high horse.

She is in prison now
Touche, commie bitch

Just got my Bible today lads, it's t h i c c.

>Weirdly liked that side of me

>"user, you're so disgusting, chauvinist!"
>"You're a capitalist, fascist pig!"
>"I'm infuriated! I'm appalled! I'm..... more turned on than I've ever been in my life!"

>commie slut was thrown in prison

why is turk justice so based

...

mine is quite slim
which version did you get?

gross tbqh
she was a cunt
she also had these handmade stickers of herself in caricature forms around the school
there is alot of handmade stickers around my school though, also alot of drawings on walls.
Especially in my classes, i heard there were considerably less in other classes

alot of good teachers got sent to prison for what she did aswell
but y'know what i dont give a shit
thank god she isnt around, i heard she was quite a cunt in her other classes aswell, low points and shit

pretty sure f*males arent people lads

I have a pocket bible with both testaments. It's small but fat. Chibi bible.

What did she do that got her arrested?

It's a NIV study bible, ~2,500 pages long, figured I shouldn't just dive right into Christianity with KJV Bible because I'm not really good with old words, I'll get it eventually though.

Figured this would be a good start for someone who's never read the Bible before.

KJV is overrated anyways tbqh. Makes scripture sound a whole lot cooler tho.

signed a commie pamphlet defending pro PKK commie professors in eastern turkey
im pretty sure every teacher that signed that thing got sent so jail, or atleast lost all of their legitimacy and jobs

Do you use NIV as well ?

Yep. I find it a whole lot more straight-forward than other versions.

y'know
do cocaine

>fantasy
Not a weeb tho, they just seem like neat cities

>he hasn't been to japan yet

>Not a weeb tho

what seems neat about them user...

I want to visit taiwan
no reason
there is just so few videos about it
like, there is more videos on how life in north korea is like than there is of how life in taiwan is like
I want to know why the 23.5 million people in taiwan are so adamant on keeping their culture a secret

>shitty pedestrian streets, arched ceilings and high office buildings
japan everybody

this was the suburbs, i was on the way to the samurai sword museum

They got pretty gud cars and trucks.
I'm gonna import me one of these someday.

I have watched exactly 4 (four) animu

Supposedly it's really fucking poor

mitsubishi trucks are adorable
i dont know if they are actually useful or not though
Like, the back of ther truck all look really unreliable and also they have shit tires and are very close to the ground

im pretty sure they have one of the best open economies in the region. They also have a bunch of high tech companies
They have enough money and market to buy fruits from turkey im sure they are alright
You are just an uncultured retard weaboo

...

wow look
