Wonderbread amerifats taking about their heritage

>wonderbread amerifats taking about their heritage

>tfw 50 shades of white
>tfw no sense of ethnic identity

>french flag
i've never met any french heritage fag here
i don't think they talk about their french ancestry
doesn't surprise me though, in a country like the US

>maltese talks about his heritage

Hello I am 1/64 Norman, therefore white

The only two major muh heritage fags are Irish and Italian Americans.

They are Italy's and Ireland's problem.

There's no French muhheritaging because French immigrants formed their own ethnic groups like Acadians, Cajuns, Creoles, Quebecois. So people talk about their cajun ancestry, not their French ancestry.

creoles aren't french though

there's some Swedish and Norwegian-American types. But most of the Norwegians actually know their cousins in Norway, and most of the Swedes are kind of being ironic and don't really care

...

Why do Americans do this? Seems to be a particular problem with Irish-Americans desu. I have met multiple people who talk about their Irish heritage.

>notice me America-senpai >_

Burgers just need to know that they will never be that nationality they have as heritage, so when they state they are Italian to acctual Italians it's quite funny.

They can't be Italian if they don't speak Italian or was not born and raised in Italy.

w-what if I have Maltese herritage?

you don't

I think you're misunderstanding it, they're not claiming to be that nationality, they're claiming to be that ethnicity as that's what they are considered here. Italians and Irish are viewed as an ethnicity and are treated as such here

it's not hard to follow, and sure it's dull, but it's even more boring when Europeans make a big deal about what dumb poor people in the US claim to be to stroke their egos

Southern sicilians and Maltese are virtually the same

What are you a N.Africa larping as a Southern European?

Don't bully little Malta!

you're country is literally muh heritage lite

I'm from New England and we have plenty of people with French Canadian and French roots but they never mention it unless it's obvious and you force them to.

Which is even more dumb since most Europeans also have other heritages, I have Swedish, Danish, German, Russian and even some Spanish heritage far back but I don't claim to be any of them except Swedish.

In Europe being Italian or Irish is a nationality not an ethnicity , I guess it's just different between Europe and America.

Pretty much or people whose parents are from a place.

>creoles aren't french though
If you bring them here and fuck them, they are your people.

Can confirm, my family always talks about our "French-Canadian" heritage and never our "French" heritage.

My autistic younger brother is a huge huge Finnaboo and is all about his Finnish heritage. He really wants to visit Finland and gets so excited to get any kind of Finland paraphernalia on brithday/Christmas.

People like being Irish, your family went through shit to bring you to the New World, they have cool type of styles (celtic designs, alcoholism), plus bonus points on St Pattys day.

>w-what if I have Maltese herritage?
They you're probably one of 10 people in America.

>BURE AMERICAN AND GERMAN BLOOD IRISH ONCE A YEAR SO PROUD OF MY CULTURE OF BURGER!!!

>tfw America has the most powerful culture assimilation on the planet

I'm so glad my ancestors gave up their rich European culture in exchange for American... """"""culture"""""""

At least we're not faggot latin ameircans

>Don't bully little Malta!
Fine you get bullied too.

>he doesn't want to know his ethnicity to give him an idea of where he comes from
>he doesn't want to know his history
>he doesn't want to visit the places his ancestors were from, especially since he's in a country that's new and mostly made up of people not originally from the land
Maltafags will never know the good feeling of "muh heritage" and the worst part is, many of them may be mixed with some other country and they'll never know

here we go again

wrong ameribear sorry chaps

Sensible posts

does that mean they were good posts or bad posts?

Some good, some bad, all sensible.

Thanks!

> with not an Irish flag in sight
L.O.L. is that true?

I meant by the americans.

It's just burgers being confused when they're not seeing their national flag every second

But pubs usually have some flags in them. If not the national one, maybe at least a flag of a local football team or something.

Burgers gonna burg huh
