Rate my kino folder and recommend me a film

I mostly like dark, serious films so don't recommend comedies or anything cheesy. This folder is fairly new and I've seen most of the obvious good, mainstream films you can think of. I wan't films that are worth keeping, there's a couple of average ones in here like lost in translation but who cares.

Funny mixture. Good movies, mainstream mediocrity and weird schlock. Very small folder though.

I recommend Ex Drummer, Kokuhaku and Ghost Dog because you remind me of myself when I was 19/20.

I've hated the look of ghost dog since I was young. It looks terrible. I'm 28 btw.

Obviously I'm joking when I say kino but I just want films that are worth keeping.

look at my patrician taste

>It looks terrible.
No, that is untrue.

I'll take your word for it. I don't watch films that look shit to me. I don't like wasting time anymore.

Using linux is the epitome of being beta.

The Man From Earth.

Some of the acting is kinda hokey, but otherwise it's really good.

>pirating

My brother made me watch it years ago. It wasn't bad, fairly interesting. Thanks.

I like you. Guess why.

Okay. Windows and Mac on the other hand are overcomplicated bullshit. I prefer Linux for user friendliness and simplicity.

Oh, forgot pic.

What's wrong with vlc? What's the superior alternative?

...

>YIFY
>vlc

The memes are real

> 1 of them is yiffy

I get your point though. I'm actually deleting the film from my folder right now anyway. It wasn't that good in hindsight.

There are two yifys.

k sempai

Only patrician itt.

Couldn't see it but i'll take your word for it. I plan on replacing the few 720p films with decent 1080p ones also at some point.

VLC?
Bet you didn't even disabled color correction, you cuck.

I'd start to collect physical media but there's no criterion in my country and the shipping is too expensive

Some of these are pretty shit, but whatever. I like to give my library covers.

>srpski film

tfw huge backlog

Delete brrips and yifi asap if you wanna be a true patrician

All the director labeled folders have all their notable movies.

What program is this?

...

I need to update mine but can't be arsed.

Seems like there's some fans of Japanese movies so here's some:
Serious: Sword of Doom, Onibaba, Kwaidan, Hausu, Hana-Bi, The Cure, Harakiri (1962), Visitor Q, Audience, Ichi the Killer
Not so serious: A Stranger of Mine, Fish Story, Survival Style 5+, The Taste of Tea, Tokyo Drifter, Branded to Kill

Just Windows file manager using shortcuts. I took the icons from IMDb posters.

rate muh stash

The Witch
delete Neon Demon

Thanks, will check these out

J.S.A: Joint Security Area
More touching than any korean film in there (not saying they're bad)

The admiral is actually pretty shitty. Red Cliff I and II are better.

Clean your shit up man

RATE

I used to download everything on to an external hard drive but then just gave up and started streaming/kodi lyfe. I had 5 folders, one for TV series, one for movies, one for foreign movies, one for anime, and one for subtitles. i must have at least 700-800 movies alone and another couple hundred anime/tv shows. now its just collecting dust on my shelf

Do you have to convert them to .ico?

>he doesnt yify

perfect blue

punching linuxcuckx

0/3 of my favourite movies

Yeah, it sucks. I take an image, like
> images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BMTU1ODYxNTc0NF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwOTU1OTc1MDE@._V1_.jpg
And change the end to
> @._V1_SY256_CR0,0,256,256_AL_.jpg
Then convert to .ico and save.

move out of my way plebs. look at this alphabetical organization. All BRay. No Yify.

MPC-HC
Actually, I switched from vlc yesterday. So far better in every way. Smoother playback, can play higher quality videos, you can costumize subs etc.

>V For Vendetta
Rewatched that the other day. It does not hold up.

Why are there only like 40 movies? Are you 13 or something?

Because the list is fairly new and I've only been adding films that I've watched recently, besides 5-10 of them. I haven't really got around to downloading films that I've seen in the past.

Your Status: Beginner

>that many films
>it's 90% pleb shit

Fucking disappointed. I was expecting some real deep kino when i opened up the picture. Bad user!

Still building.

r8 so far

>90% pleb
>Means 10% good
>10% of 2000 is 200
>200 is still more than most people in this thread

Lets call that a win by volume!

>.srts in the main folder
Why not just make folders for the movies?

>Some things are in folders and some are standalone files
>No consistent filename structure

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

There's nothing to rate. Thats not even a start.

see
and that's not even me.

I hate the look of mixed collections and shitty file structures. Plus I like to see file formats at a glance because when I copy shit to various devices they have various incompatibilities.
Xbone/UEBO/Measy players

How do you guys store your movies?
I think I'm going to have to buy a couple of 10TB drives, or back shit up on tape.

you'd have to be a raging social retard to use linux these days.

R8 my collection.

All made in the last year.

Flawless

>Wearing the same fucking glasses in 4/5ths of the movies

Not that guy, but I think I'm going to be stuck on Windows 7 forever unless Microsoft reverses their cancerous course.

>having a folder, of folders of movies
>instead of just having all the video files in one folder
>not even renaming the files to just the movie titles

Goddamn autists.

all i see is a bunch of filler and Thief. chinatown is overrated as fug.

0/10 for the formatting of the folders alone
How do you deal with subtitle files faglord?

Because that's autistic. If anything, make srt files invisible.

See
I don't have a movies folder anymore, but I have a small TV collection. Step up your organization, spergs.

Purist autists get upset at the high compression.
If a 1080p isn't ~>5gb then it isn't really 1080p.

>More than 2k movies

Jesus fuck.

You deserve disappointment.
