Why do so many movies get guns so, so wrong?

Look up the north Hollywood bank shootout one of the robbers got their legs lit the fuck up with gun shots and they kept going off of pure adrenaline I think if you got shot in the right areas some people could power house through it

There are certain things in life that, when they happen, they ruin that thing in movies for you forever.
Some of these include, breaking a bone, firing a gun, being in a car crash, being in a fist fight, etc.
As soon as it happens you just think about every movie that ever lied to you. I'm sure there's loads more.
Heat did a pretty good job with the guns in it. Plus the sounds the guns make are actually really loud and sound great

It's one of the worst offenders. People will have shoot-outs in apartment buildings and be talking in normal volume to each-other. It's just so blatantly wrong in every movie they are in.

if it was realistic you wouldn't have entertainment. How do you not understand that? If everyone went deaf when a gun was shot off next to them and had to yell at each other for the rest of the show/movie it would be annoying. If I had to sit and watch two people have a 5 minute shoot out while they hid behind things that would actually give them cover only to have them run out of ammo cause they didn't bring enough I would turn it off. If i had to listen and watch a dude slowly bleed out from being shot instead of just dying I would lose interest in the movie. Get where this is going.
maybe just write a movie more like real life then so you don't have to have autistic shoot-outs that break the natural laws?
