My own experiences have been highly varied, from totally white schools in Britain in the 70s and 80s to a high school in Toronto which was appallingly diverse and had a weekly race riot in the cafeteria. People will always point out, Britain is around 90% white, there's nothing to worry about, but something like 1/3 of school children at the moment are immigrant descended, so that means at the very least, once this generation has become elderly, Britain is only 66% native British. My father was involved in extreme Scottish nationalism back in the 60s and 70s (to the point that Special Branch paid him a visit), but he was right-wing and a monarchist. He died several years ago, and I often wonder what he'd make of the current rabble under Sturgeon. Trading rule from Westminster for rule from Brussels isn't independence at all, and then as you say they want to flood the country with foreigners to the point that there will be no Scottish nation any longer anyway, just a physical space marked "Scotland" on the map with a population as heterogeneous and culturally balkanized as any other in the Western world. It's heartbreaking to watch a country you love die this way.

I mainly listen to Hard Trance now but when I was younger, I was in the scooter scene, so I listened mainly to Northern Soul and '60's stuff when I was young. Having said that; I still have a large vinyl collection from Ultravox to Madness and The Who to David Bowie.
The only genre I could never get into was Rap/hip hop or Heavy metal (sorry).
