Are you kidding me. After 5 it was just a plain heist film under the name fast and furious. 6 and 7 are just average heist films, while the earlier ones were actual street racing. From those tokyo drift was without a doubt the most fun.

Fast Five is a legitimately good movie. The action scenes are fantastic and the plot is actually palatable.
Other than that, the first is the only other one I actually like.

Oh, come on. It had a great climax, got Brian and Dom back together and it set up the following movies just fine. Sure, it hadn't quite hit its stride yet and I'll admit that it might be overall less memorable than 2 and 3 but the series was just starting to find its identity.

The fifth was a heist movie, the 6th and 7th were basically super hero movies where all the powers are connected to cars. Honestly, I only really started enjoying this series when it went away from its roots.
The first one was just below mediocre, the second was an alright buddy cop movie and the third one was a pretty much the first one, but good. As awkward as 4 might have been, I started enjoying those movies way more when they became over the top action movies with a focos on car based stunts and a fun ensemble cast.
