TW3's combat system is much like Arkham Asylum's.
A lot of people complain about it but I think it's pretty decent.
Also, if you get the game get the DLC too. Contrary to what other developers offer, the DLC in TW3 is definitely worth it. Especially Blood and Wine, which adds a whole new map with new stuff to explore. Hearts of Stone is pretty nice too if you like Faustian stories about demons tricking people and whatnot.
