I unironically like the Fast & Furious movies and i'm looking forward to Part 8
They did a good job of refreshing the series to not make it stale by turning it from Racing movies to Heist movies and now Spy movies.

I am also a genuine fan. Nonetheless, don't you think they Flanderized Roman and Taj? Roman is no longer funny, but a clown and Taj is Mary Sue. I first notice it in London, but it was even worse in the last one.

Yeah this does happen. Taj went from street-smart guy to full blown elite-hacker. Roman is now Mr. Quip.
That being said their characters are still enjoyable, especially in an ensemble when they interact with each other.
