This shit was boring, not even the surreal parts I found that surreal. I could see why normies find it so quirky and weird though

I've only seen the first season but I remember laughing pretty frequently at it.

>trying to put Twin Peaks under a single genre
TP is the show with literally every genre.

But yeah, it's pretty funny

There was a fish... in the percolator

It's literally satire

It's a soap opera

it has that quirky vibe to it, can't help but laugh at it some times

I laughed at the leland palmer dance.

Aside from that it was a pretty boring show.

That's basically what it's supposed to be. It has all the elements but through the lens of David Lynch.

This. Probably he most overrated show of all time, right there with BB

Are these real sentiments? Because I'm really unsure if I should bother with this show

It's pretty bad, has its interesting Lynch moments but they are far and few between.

I have only met one other person who thought it was overrated. The vast majority people hail it as one of the best of all time so you'll probably like it

Watch it, at least the first season. It's only 8 episodes and it's incredibly great. The second one is not so good, it falls continuously down and down until the final episode, which is an unforgettable classic.

It's the favorite show of hipsters attending a state libarts school for a reason.

If you want actual arthouse TV, watch Dekalog, Heimat or Berlin

I thought it was fucking awful. Its your typical weird for the sake of weird David Lynch trash.

And thats just the first season. Almost everyone agrees that the second season is legit bad, even fans of the show.

A lot

I liked the first 5 eps or so but it was just generic from there on.

It's a soap opera. It's designed to have all emotions.

No, it's just very tongue-in-cheek and a lot of its themes are meant to parody the soap opera genre. For example:

>female character supposedly dies but is actually posing as a Japanese businessman

lmfao are there more edits like this?

...

...

the resemblance is uncanny

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I struggled to get through 4 episodes and couldn't get any further.

...

...

oh my god

I don't like this one very much please no take it away

THE ALL-SEEING EYE DEMANDS YOUR OBEDIENCE

Thoughts on the cast for the new season?
>tfw David Bowie was planned but then he died

PLEASE JAMES NO MAKE IT STOP IT HURTS AHHHHHHH

Fuck brett gelman, michael cera, and sky.

The second season is fucking terrible

...

it became a comedy after the first arc ended and NBC wanted more episodes

I think Twin Peaks is great, even parts of the second season.
It can be great at being funny and creepy at the same time.
