Get better fucking taste if you're going to make these threads, kid.
Fucking christ this is Sup Forums not imdb
I'll be right back, gonna go find the most obscure black and white foreign Cinéma. I need validation.
That might be the most cookie cutter 3x3 I've ever seen.
...
Entry level, I predict in a year you'll be an actual patrician.
what is that on the bottom right melancholia?
Fucking pretentious shit while I don't disagree with you post your own without lying to yourself about the films you pick.
hey thats not a 3x3
1/6
3/9 good taste
...
yeah needs more french films
Am I pleb Sup Forums?

...
Post them and we will judge you
make a 4x5 instead a 3x3
>Through A Glass Darkly
Patrician detected. Bergman's best.
9/9
mmm 6/8
>4x5
I think you might want to double check that math
no i actually do have better taste than 90% of Sup Forums
Jesus christ can you be any more autistic
your grid is still the plebbiest in the thread
Lol, what an eclectic fellow
>i have a top 20
4x5=20
...
nah, its pretty bland and uninteresting, nothing quite unique either
feel free to believe otherwise but youll get called out on it every time
How do you make this?
bighugelabs.com
befunky.com
Op made his on a film streaming site called Mubi, but I think you have to subscribe to make a list.
...
Only the top row is any good
D-
See me after class
this is my 'top 9'
I'd say middle row, I mean do you really prefer PTA over WKW and Dreyer?
middle? for research purposes
One pick per decade mode.
claire's knee
No but 2001 and Apocalypse Now shit all over the rest of that grid
I really like AN, but Joan Arc is better than both 2001 and AN.
Bask in my pleb, feel it wash over you like the tide!
autism incarnate
>Sunset Boulevard
Good choice. And Double Indemnity by the same director is also good.
newfag incarnate
...
I need to see leon
How am I supposed to watch the movies if you don't put titles on them?
Oh wait, you wouldn't want me to watch them anyway because that would rub off the false veneer of intellectualism that your "taste" in film represents.
Wait no one puts titles on these?
This thread is useless.
yeah leave tripfaggot
>good burger
is this the only good taste in the thread?
This alone made posting worth it, you conceited autist.
>hard boiled
my nigger
>Favourite movies thread
my kind of thread
>alucarda
my NIGGER
could i get the names of the other titles?
sure!
Veneno para las hadas
Kamen
Historia de la Meva Mort
Rose de Fer
Oi kynigoi (the hunters)
Skeleton of mrs morales
Nazareno cruz y el lobo
the most important thing, love (zulawski)
where do I find all of these?
thanks user!
Bottom row (of recent likes) is Nostos: The Return - The Trial - Voices Through Time
skeleton for mr morales is on youtube with eng subs
alucarda, veneno para las hadas i watched growing up, and only revisited them recently, but i think both are on youtube (dont know about subs)
same with nazareno, you could download them from there and get subs from opensubs, but quality loss is evident
sadly i dont think the others have much availability online, unless you're in public trackers
yw :)
amazing bottom row!
i think i was talking to you yesterday i think about piavoli
were you able to find al primo sofflo di vento?
Fucking christ this board has become entry level
unless you are in private trackers*
Thanks, yes I believe we were. Honestly I know very little about torrenting and never got started, so no I haven't found it
I know I downloaded it last year, but looking for it yesterday, I think I may have deleted it.
Anyways, I snatched it again, I'd have no problem sending it to you if you'd like.
That'd be great! Sorry for the naive question, but how would that work?
you can make a throwaway email account, and then i upload the film and the extras and send it to that email
Nowadays public trackers are beyond shit. The demise of kickass really hurt the scene. In the past you could find whole criterion releases (including commentaries and extras), now you can't find shit.
Good. Pirating is for faggots.
Kill yourself for ever being "a part" of a public tracker.
firstbreathofwind @ gmail . com
Thanks a bunch man
its at 3%
might take up to an hour, so just check your email in a while
oh and no problem, hope you enjoy it!
Will do, I can't thank you enough. How do you feel it compares to Piavoli's other films?
au hasard balthasar affected me like no other films ive ever seen
anyone recommend anything similar?
Kys autist
Well I think its not as theatrical as Nostos (although Nostos isn't really pompous in any sense, but it's definitely loud at times).
I think it's more comparable to Voices, but more dreamy I guess, in fact, there's a dream sequence that is just beautiful, it's also a very quiet film and the distancing of each person of the house makes for a very harmonious atmosphere, it's an amazing film.
Also like in his other films, the use of landscape and aural sounds is just amazing.
I still haven't seen Planeta Azzurro, can't comment on that one.
...
Feel free to let me know how much of a pleb I am
Man, I feel as if I'm the only one who didn't love It's Such a Beautiful Day.
>von trier
>pan's labyrinth
shameful
yuck. all intellectually vacant with film school level writing
what was it that turned you off?
or you could just watch life of brian for an honest treatment of the subject
enjoyable isn't pleb. be proud
U have good taste friendo.
Someone recc me something you think id enjoy. pretty please.
what is bottom middle
i keep trying to watch solaris on its own merits but its just so much worse than the novel.
I give you a 5/9, Twin Peaks, Memories of Murder, Alien, Mulholland Drive and Apocalypse Now definitely in mine somewhere.
I just didn't feel any real emotion. I appreciated the craft a lot but for me that was about it.
Also, I just sent you the files.
bretty good
that's understandable. It's honestly a hit or miss. For me, I personally think that it has one of the most creative ways to interpret mental illness and the feelings of isolation and depression, out of any other film I've seen.
hey that's pretty good. just watched elevator to the gallows recently. kind of a dumb premise rescued by lots of style and sincerity. i approve
