Is there a better Woody Allen film?

Is there a better Woody Allen film?

It's among my very favorites along w/ Hannah and Her Sisters

Manhattan.

I need to poop.

Hannah and Her Sisters > Annie Hall > Crimes and Misdemeanors, and all 3 are absolute masterpieces

top five for sure

I liked the one where he wakes up in the future.

...

The Purple Rose of Cairo, of course

also acceptable

I do love it but I wouldn't say it's better. They're about equal, same with Hannah and Her Sisters and Annie Hall.
I love Broadway Danny Rose just as much as those three but it isn't as good. There's just a charm to it.

It's just a shitty, ponderous Patricia Highsmith rip-off.

Yes. Annie Hall, Love and Death, Hannah and Her Sisters are all better.

the only one I can think of is Husbands and Wives.

>Is there a better Woody Allen film?

Is there a better Martin Landau film?
He should have gotten the Oscar for this instead of Ed Wood.
Eh, fuck it he should've gotten Oscars for both...

Sleeper

Yeah Landau was unbelievably good in the film.

Hannah and Her Sisters was more boring than
watching dog shit dry.
All you double beta cucks should choke.

If you wanted some confirmation, yes, you can shitpost. Congrats.

I liked the one with the neurotic guy and the quirky girl. The same with a lot of jazz music.

Part of the reason I like Crimes and Misdemeanors so much is because the focus isn't totally on a neurotic guy and a quirky girl.

RADIO DAYS

it's the best Allen's movie of all tiem.

You know, I like his films except for that nervous fellow who's always in them.

neurotic*

Blue Jasmine is great, surprising given the fact that it's a newer one

Radio Days is comfycore.

Blue Jasmine is excellent. GOAT Cate performance.

This, Amadeus and Paris, Texas are the three best american movies ever made. Kino reached its peak in the 80s

In a way only. True, the likelihood of great films is lower since the end of the '80s, but Allen always makes something at least good or interesting even now in his late years.

All three are excellent and above stuff, but you should watch more films.

Is there a single Woodie Allen film starring Woodie Allen in which he doesn't play some autistic neurotic person who noone would want to be with because every single thing he says is a reference or a sarcastic comment?

Annie Hall

No.

>Woodie
You seem biased against the type. Or it's just a joke.
I myself love it and Allen is great on playing the neurotic jewish modern man.

Except with Woody its his wife's daughter and he fucks her.
literally /ourguy/

wait give me a quick rundown of why this is funny

I liked Midnight in Paris the most...

...

I'd you don't think Zelig is his finest kino you don't know SHIT about film

kek
I haven't seen that one yet but I'm more of a reader than a film watcher so it's on my list. I also can't help but love Owen Wilson

how can one man be such a pleb

By disliking the movies on the patriciancore list
