What the fuck was the point of this movie?

What the fuck was the point of this movie?

trying to portray white males as cucks. It's shit

>DUDE I'M SO DEPRESSED: the movie

typical white people drama

What was the point of White Men Can't Jump?

Was he fucking autistic?

better question is who exactly was this supposed to appeal to? it's too boring for normies, it's not pretentious enough for reddit-tier pseudointellectuals, and it's a legitimately shit film so it doesn't appeal to actual patricians either. who the FUCK even enjoyed this thing? who wants to see casey affleck mope and mumble for two and a half hours until the movie just sort of ends?

yeah this movie was bullshit. we never even found out who Manchester was

the first half hour I wondered why am I seeing this shit and almost dropped it out
at the end I didn't want it to finish

being sad in boston guy

yeah i didn't want it to finish either because i was waiting for some semblance of character development or narrative structure

I think the biggest twist is that he used to be married.

the nephew was a piece of shit

this movie was fucking stupid. why was he so sad in the first place? they never gave a reason for his depression

are you fucking retarded?

...

ITT: Movies should reflect only my personal experience and since I am 12, I don't have much experience. I am not capable of acknowledging other people's experiences.

did u fucking watch the movie?

this. same thing needs to be said for those shitting on moonlight as well

la la land can go fuck itself though

Meme flick

mohammad kasim al fleki

Aww man come on.
It was a great character study of the main guy. The amount of emotions throughout is something else. I'll admit some characters were weak or heavy handed, but for the most part this is a really solid watch that sticks with you.
Great use of music and flashbacks too.
Casey Affleck was amazing.

White Men Can't Jump has far more ideological consequence than Manchester.

Ironically, La La Land was the ideological of all three contenders for best picture, and Moonlight was equally as Void as Manchester despite people placing such an impetus on it as a race/queer film.
