She has an offputting, smug 'I'm better than you' vibe that audiences despise. Also she is a wooden actress.
Camden Lee
>Out in a week >Already 6.1 on IMDb JUST
Lincoln Hill
Remember how great Amy Adams was in Enchanted?
Lucas Torres
it will never beat the original
Jack Fisher
That is quite possibly the ugliest doll I've ever seen.
Brody Adams
She was playing Gaston's role instead of Belle's.
Asher Taylor
>Part of the problem lies in the casting of Emma Watson as Belle. Now, Miss Watson seems like an admirable young woman, and hats off to her for reportedly declining to wear a figure-altering corset in this film. She said she wanted to look real, and also that she wanted her character to reflect some of her own feisty feminism.
>Fair enough. But the reality is that Miss Watson is not a particularly good actress. In common with her Harry Potter co-star Daniel Radcliffe, her star wattage greatly exceeds her talent.
David Harris
>Watson >Wattage
What did he mean by this?
Parker Kelly
The role should've gone to Jenna Coleman or Lily Collins IMO. Watson doesn't have the 'sweetness' that is needed for the role, these girls do.
Leo Morgan
>What went wrong?
you simply can't act away deep seated resentment of both genders.
Robert Rodriguez
To be fair, that was Belle's personality in the animated version.
Carson Gray
Jenna coleman has a fucking ayyyy cube head. No chance.
William Mitchell
It's almost as if casting an actress who hates all men, hates white people, and hides millions of dollars in Panama while saying the rich don't pay taxes was a bad idea
Zachary Gomez
That can be disguised with a good hairstyle.
Isaiah Harris
she has too much of a square masculine face with sharp features, but i guess that goes along with their stupid hard edged feminist interpretation of belle anyways.
Jonathan Gonzalez
It was a movie doomed from the start, the Beauty And The Beast was always a boring fairytale, the only good variant was the TV show with Sarah Connor and Hellboy.
Oliver Thompson
The Beast should have been a lion. Then they would have had chemisty.
Owen Davis
The 1946 film is absolute kino.
Cameron Wright
Okay lets be serious now... will the dolls really look like that?
Anthony Hernandez
Finally people are seeing her lack of talent. I can fucking guarantee you that any that any CW actress would've done a better job
I hope so, it would be the perfect reflection of such an abortion of a movie. I guarantee that this will flop. Hard.
Ethan Morris
>SHE TURNED DOWN LALA LAND FOR THIS
Sebastian Johnson
>woefully miscast >that picture
Nicholas Jackson
This is so fucking stupid yet I still laughed
Jeremiah Allen
>Watson is a bad actress
Thanks for confirming what everyone who saw HP should have noticed. Does anyone in Hollywood actually know how to discern good acting from bad?
Bentley Edwards
She didn't. The studio didn't want her. Her agent asked for too much money (probably a Jew) and they went "She's too much work for that amount of cash" and declined. They didn't want her lecturing the boom mic guy on why his job is reinforcing the patriarchy cause the mic looks like a dick.
Eli Myers
Nice Rocky Dennis head
Cameron Bailey
Yes, because shes actually a good actress
Gavin Price
Lily Collins would have put me in the theater. GG Disney.
Angel Campbell
Except Radcliffe is trying to improve. One way of doing that is by doing theatre productions which are a lot more difficult. He's not that talented, I actually got auditioned for Harry Potter because the filming was in Oxford, they had scouts coming round to the local schools asking for people who looked like him. I was one of them.
I was never given a chance to perform, the guy only looked at 2 of us then fucked off.
Connor Roberts
>This isn't even armond white
Mason Brown
Same. If Lily Collins were playing Belle, I would have definitely bought a ticket. But since worstemma is in it, I won't even bother to illegally download it.
William Lewis
She didn't turn down La La Land, she asked for too much money and got replaced.
Juan Reyes
don´t worry girls don´t buy ugly dolls
it will make the whole thing just funnier
Jacob Clark
Lily already played Snow White, it'd be silly to have her as another Disney princess.
Jackson Barnes
Watson is a piece of shitt that needs to be raped by muslims.
Nicholas Ross
It would be very empowering if she consented to be raped by Muslim refugees. It would certainly be a bold step forward for equality and feminism.
Chase Walker
In my heart, she is all Disney princesses rolled into one.
Ryan Kelly
I know that feel.
Still, she was perfectly cast as Snow White and is more fitting for her than Belle, who's more of a basic bitch, down to earth beauty.
Joseph Diaz
True
Bentley Lewis
She also demanded that rehersals take place in London.
Jaxon Perez
Soulless feminist.
Jaxon Miller
>Emma would rather fuck a CGI Jesus-figure Lion rather than you.
Ok, time for suicide.
Joshua Murphy
LMAO, it's this sort of ego and overinflated sense of self-importance that will kill her career. She can't act very well anyway. Doesn't matter, she'll probably end up with a UN job as a 'Minister for Women" or something dumb and useless like that anyway.
Christian Long
>she has an off putting feminist aire about her performance
Ftfy
Jack Wilson
Armond White will love it
Elijah Johnson
I mean the movie looks like horrible shit in every possible way, but I'd see a shitty movie with Lily Collins in it
If you feel the same, I recommend the first half of Rules don't apply
Isaiah Bailey
Belle was innocent, curious and naive, not smug. Her only smug scenes were with Gaston, because she rightfully viewed him as an obnoxious, stupid pleb.
Hudson Johnson
I'm on it, thanks user. She really needs to do something with her eyebrows though
Luke Gray
She has taken the SJW route and will continue to be cast until this new McCarthyism dies down. Then her career will be dead as all the producers and directors will no longer be afraid to ignore the cunt.
William Williams
Someone shop the JUST hair on Emma pls
Gavin Watson
If everyone else hates it this is a guarantee
Ryder Gonzalez
it should have been this girl from ex machina. she's a princess. emma watson is too feministy nowadays to be a princess.
Benjamin King
But her eyebrows are one of her best features?
Evan Miller
Sup Forums used to love emma kek. you guys think she's beautiful deep down. but just because she's a feminist you deny your old feelings for her. it's pretty pathetic. right wing ideology is so stupid.
Levi Price
A bit too bushy and unkempt for me, personally.
Dylan Reyes
Alicia Vikander
John Martinez
>it should have been this girl from ex machina. she's a princess
we've seen her tits, ass and pussy on camera there's no way disney would sign her for a princess role
Nathan Taylor
They usually get fooled by the accent. Then we get boring wooden actors like henry cavill. British actors are just like that in general though. They can't emote.
Chase Green
Where can you see her pussy?
Xavier Brooks
We used to love Emma when she was beautiful Now she's not
Ayden Davis
what does gg mean?
Kevin Robinson
good goyim
Gavin Cooper
>all these triggered newfags from Sup Forums and redditors trying to fit in
Caleb Lee
Sup Forums was in love with the famous child actress. Then she got "too old"
I somewhat agree with you, though her looks are starting to drop off. The fact is that she looks slightly worse beause of age, she now dresses terribly and she's a feminist that comes out with annoying stupid shit. I still think shes stunning when she tries, but she's becoming cringe worthy as fuck.
Joseph Young
daisy whats-it's-name got cast for the farce awakens and her only resume was a naked corpse in some tv show or whatever
Adrian Campbell
>This Beauty And The Beast is no match at all for the animated classic.
Did people go into the movie expecting this? That's their fault, not the movie's. It is literally not possible to make something that is a match for the animated classic.
Caleb Hughes
Nah, it's great. 10/10.
Luke Howard
No, it really wasn't at all. She wasn't smug in the slightest.
Owen Diaz
So why make it. I know why, money, but why make it.
Jayden Jackson
Money.
Noah Anderson
why tho
Daniel Morris
No it wasn't though?
James Reyes
Why is Best Emma so beautiful and charismatic, bros?
Adam Evans
it's nice to have lots of it
Andrew Lewis
Looks don't compensate for a terrible personality. You'd know this if you had ever been on a date.
Robert Scott
Emma turns 27 in like a month. She is now closer to her 30s than 20s. In less than 10 years she will physically unable to have kids unless she undergoes a huge risk.
Let that sink in and realise how far things have changed now
Elijah Robinson
agreed but y
Zachary Ortiz
shit. you just made me realize how old i am. you son of a bitch.
Owen Edwards
t. godcuck
William Jenkins
Cavil's fine.
His problem, in the DC films anyways, is the script he has to work with is garbage.
Matthew Ross
>he is now closer to her 30s than 20s. In less than 10 years she will physically unable to have kids unless she undergoes a huge risk.
>it's dangerous for women in their 30s to have kids
t. Conservative Think-tank
William Gonzalez
wait is the movie even released yet?
Logan Moore
is this a new meme?
Jayden Cox
i like her and i agree, bad casting. Honestly, should have went with someone new for belle.
Gavin Stewart
Emma Watson is smug and unlikable. That's great for a character like Hermione, who was also smug and unlikable. It doesn't really work for a character like Belle, who is supposed to be likeable.
Xavier King
Have you seen the movie?
Henry Morris
No. Idiots are stuck thinking it's the 50s still and access to modern medicine isn't a thing
Oliver Lee
Way to prove you're an easily offened newqueer, retard.
I think casting an unknown is paramount in successfully adapting anything animated. Animation does show how a character looks but it also can be interpreted in a similar way to how people see characters in novels differently. When you cast a known actor (studios make this mistake fucking CONSTANTLY) into a role like that you have a large portion of your fanbase that is going to judge it completely off of their past performances.
In this case, it doesn't help that cast a girl who is literally incapable of being anything more than what we saw when she was twelve. It's fucking Hermione Granger every time out.
Even the good actors in this are in voice acting roles. Ian "cried working with a green screen" McKellan does not strike me as being able to competently act that way.
Fucking mistakes everywhere with this thing. Belle being Hermione is probably the least of it.
Current year Disney, folks
Ethan Parker
He she didn't go with the whole feminism shtick she would be perceived as being sweet and confident.
Instead: >Haha I think Aslan is hot >Haha I put oil on my pubes
It's forced and unnatural, but apparently that's how men act during interviews (yay feminism), you know... talking about pubes and being attracted to animals.
