I don't think I've ever found out someone's a vegan by asking them, though. They've always shoved it in other people's faces in an act of virtue-signalling. The meme is not a meme, it's real.

It's supposed to be a rebuttal to pic related—saying that the only reason vegans tell everyone they're vegans is because it is coaxed out of them.
