Character fags >>>>> mystery fags

Not to say if you were watching the show for the mysteries you were wrong, because some of them were cool as fuck, but you 10x more out of this show if you watch it for the characters

Post the korean wedding one, it's my favorite

Sup Forums's golden age and baneposting all seem to revolve around the theme of planes crashing.

Always the best

We all want to fly high on live but we ended crashing here.

This one?

I keep trying to rewatch Lost but always burn out around Season 5.

Love this one

Yep, thanks

I liked Desmond

I think this is the best of all

I'm crashing this thread with these dubs

We have to go back Kate!

That scene was kino.

is this what ant-man meant when he asked for orange slices?

why couldn't that handsom fucker be the real hero?

The rest of ya'll know

that look...

Decided to watch my first LOST episode about 3 weeks ago. After about 3 or 4 episodes I was hooked. Binge watched the entire thing in under two weeks. Most addictive show I've ever watched.

For those of you who watched in real time whilst it was airing on tv, how did you manage to wait one week per episode?

Sup Forums was amazing during LOST, abatap, green oval

I ask this about a lot of finished series that I have only seen via box set.

>Sister won't shut up about LOST
>Spends 5 years obsessing over the goddamn show
>Refuse to acknowledge meme le twist: the series
>Crash at her place and binge the first 5 seasons two weeks before Season 6 started

It was excruciating. The show is far more enjoyable at your own pace than weekly.

YOU ALL EVERYBODY!

Someone post the T-bell run image.

S U B M A R I N E

You spent a large portion of the week discussing theories.

>tfw I came to Sup Forums during LOST and although it gets worse every day I've been stuck here ever since

just let me go back

Literal obsession. Downloading the new episode from Limewire hours after the US airing. Reading extremely tinfoiled theories about cloud patterns and ghosts stuck in time loops. Learning morse code and decyphering cargo manifests and 24px Dharma logos in real time for the lost experience ARG. Analysing frames of Canadian promos on lostforums, refreshing DarkUFO's homepage endlessly...

Best television viewing experience ever.

What's the best season?

I've seen a lot of people shit on season 2 for being slow and boring but I loved all that shit with the Hatch. So comfy.

>you will never hang down the Hatch with your Lostbros listening to Geronimo Jackson, pushing buttons on a computer, eating Dharma products and taking a nice hot shower after a long sweaty day hunting boar in the jungle

Feels fucking bad man.

>tfw I missed out on all this even though I was 15 when the first episode aired so I could have easily watched the whole thing

I remember watching the first episode and it not really hooking me in so I never watched it again. Big mistake. Didn't give the show another chance until 13 years later and I fucking loved it.

I liked everything about the time travel season other than Miles.

*last 3 episodes of season 3 (alongside The Constant) are legitimately some of the best television ever made. WE HAVE TO GO BACK KATE!

**Jack's tattoos.

this

I always argued with my friend that LOST had some of the best character development for a network tv show (low bar, but still).

>mfw reading this in Sayid's voice

life imitates art

We were all brought here for a reason, user.

Season 3 is extremely underrated. The middle is shit but I actually really enjoyed the beginning with Sawyer, Kate and Jack in cages.

I've only watched watched LOST once and I agree with your rankings exactly. Need to rewatch it to be sure.

The only thing I'm absolutely sure of is that season 6 was by far the weakest of them all.

>2009 was 12 years ago

Fringe also does a fantastic job with this in a similar way (amongst Olivia, Walter and Peter in particular). True TV kino.

When lost ended, Sup Forums began its descent into the shithole it is now.

What a golden era. Those streaming threads were the absolute apex of discussion this board will ever see.

We're now at 80 million

Which cast member had the biggest career downturn after the show was finished?

It really is. I'm convinced the quality of episodes 9-16 (in particular SIASL and Par Avion, excluding Exposé depending on your feelings towards it) KILLED the momentum of the series at that point. There is nothing objectively wrong with the quality but the story goes nowhere.

It sours S3 for a lot of people. It took until episode 19-20 to get back on track 100%. The show improved dramatically in pacing when they announced an end date (late during season 3 I believe?)

Season 2 and 1 are so close in quality they're essentially tied. But I loved the entire DHARMA/Desmond storyline so much it elevates it. The opening scene of s2e1 is the perfect mystery.

I agree S6 is the weakest, but I still enjoyed it and loved the ending. My only change would have been a full John Locke resurrection/redemption arc. He deserved better. And to do more with Widmore.

It's been so long that I don't remember shit about the first seasons, only the last one with the island gods and that shitty ending.

Maggie Grace? Her career just... ended.

Charlie, Desmond, Claire, Mr Eko, Faraday, Locke everyone who wasn't Kate, Jack, Sawyer, Ben, Analucia and Hugo

adults are talking. No one cares about your opinion

How awful. Across the Sea was/is terrible. It promised massive mythology related answers, instead it wasted 40 minutes on creating MORE ridiculous, unanswerable questions IN THE PENULTIMATE EPISODE. Bravo Lindelolf, you hack. It does not improve with time.

When did Sup Forums last do a rewatch?

I binged all seasons two years ago

The first bunch literally all got DUI's.

Terry O'Quinn just got old.

Some of Michael Emerson's best character acting was actually in Person of Interest....

I'm long overdue. I watched season 1 about 2 years ago but didn't finish...

Did it still hold up for you? What did you think?

...

Pottery.

How'd the dog's career go?

>He doesn't die alone because they lived together

Terry is actually on a new show called Patriot, it's pretty good.

When I read one of these I almost feel like I'm back in 2010.
Why can't I go back guys?
