Two teams are going to play two games in Mercedes Benz stadium this year.
I've been trying to warn people about the SEC but here we are, less than three weeks from the inevitable. Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl are primed to be blowouts.

The greatest and most emotional championship in the history of college football is coming.

There's some interesting stats to go along with the well known ones like:

>Only trailed once all season
>Closest margin of victory was 14
>Average rushing yards per game were 400
>Never gave up a single sack the entire season
>Average margin of victory was over 38 points
>Absolutely booty blasted 4 teams that ended the season in the top 10 and another 4 teams with at least 8 wins.
>27 players played in the NFL.
>12 punt return yards allowed all season with over 50 punts
>D only gave up an average of 14.2 ppl
>Played a triple option with 3 of the most dominant rushers in CFB history-Tommie Frazier, Ahman Green, Lawrence Philips.

95 Nebraska is the undisputed GOAT

>letting a team come within 14 points of you
>allowing two touchdowns per game average
>only two shutouts
You are like a little baby. Watch this.

45 Army is another GOAT, but not THE GOAT. 45 Army would have gotten wrecked by 95 Nebraska but different eras so it's tough to compare

I was trolling. All that is actually comparable is dominance of the year in question, and by that measure '45 Army produced probably the single greatest season ever. But there was a world war that year which casts some doubt on that accomplishment.

Both are the only teams in the poll era to never be challenged, and since only '95 Nebraska played in the two-platoon era I definitely agree they're the GOAT for all intents and purposes.

bowl schedule:
fbschedules.com/ncaa/college-football-bowl-schedule.php

1st game of bowl season is a Battle of Champions

There are only two undefeated teams in the FCS: James Madison and North Carolina A&T.

Back on Nov 20, the last FCS Coaches Poll ranked NC A&T and Grambling:
>#7 North Carolina A&T (11-0)
>#12 Grambling (9-1)

ncaa.com/rankings/football/fcs

>5 hour drive from NC A&T
>8 hour drive from Grambling

Grambling produced 1st Round (#17 overall) QB Doug Williams who was MVP of Super Bowl XXII

NC A&T alum include a magna cum laude grad (and high school valedictorian) physicist (PhD in physics from MIT) Ronald McNair who died in the loss of the Challenger (the 2nd Space Shuttle) in 1986, leaving behind a wife and two kids. NASA also lost the Columbia (the 1st Space Shuttle) in 2003. Only four Space Shuttles still remain:
>Atlantis - on display in Cape Canaveral, FL
>Discovery - on display near D.C.
>Endeavour - on display in L.A.
>Enterprise - on display in NYC

>I rate nebraska

>not rating UCF North

Bill Snyder is a classy guy. He is also a bit of a control freak, but he needs to do a better job grooming the coaches under him so they can take over

Black college football national championships

15 - Grambling St
>1955, 1967, 1972, 1974, 1975, 1977, 1980, 1983, 1992, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2008, 2016

5 - North Carolina A&T
>1951, 1968, 1990, 1999, 2015

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_college_football_national_championship

>devastating injury
>has over 200 yards rushing in first game back
>still better than Oklahoma's Runningbacks

>Oklahoma 2008
They lost two games by two scores, one being a championship

The Bulldogs are 13th nationally in yards per play at 6.75, while the Sooners are 68th in yards allowed per play at 5.66.

Looks like Grambling has themselves another great coach, and he's only 43

Grambling is famous for HC Eddie Robinson, who has the second most wins in NCAA Division I history behind only Joe Paterno (111 of Paterno's wins were vacated from 2012-2015 but the NCAA restored the wins in 2015, keeping Paterno at #1 and Robinson at #2

Every HC at Grambling since Robinson has won a Black college football national championship...

Eddie Robinson (1946-1997)
>9 Black college national titles (1955, 1967, 1972, 1974-1975, 1977, 1980, 1983, 1992)

Doug Williams (1998-2003, 2011-2013)
>3 Black college national titles (2000, 2001, 2002)

Melvin Spears (2004-2006)
>1 Black college national title (2005)

Rod Broadway (2007-2010, then took over as HC of North Carolina A&T, and still is)
>Grambling: 1 Black college national title (2008)
>NC A&T: 1 Black college national title (2015)

Broderick Fobbs (2014-current)
>1 Black college national title (2016)

>allowing points

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1899_Sewanee_Tigers_football_team

Georgia is 36th in yards per play nigga. Oklahoma is ranked #1 at 8.44 YPP. Georgia is ranked 110 in passing offense and 11th in rushing offense. Oklahoma is ranked 88th in passing yards allowed and 40th in rushing defense. Their defense is skewed by a worse passing defense, but Georgia has one of the worse passing games in the country and aren't likely to take advantage of it.

>Georgia is 36th in yards per play
Total yards is not yards per play.

>Georgia has one of the worse passing games in the country
Georgia is 13th in yards per completion and 9th in yards per pass

Great job evaluating stats.

Your information does not add up.

that's how all generals are setup newfag

no, only the ones by dumbasses

while he is just beginning his coaching career, the A&T coach is nearing the end of his likely HOF coaching career:

Rod Broadway (age 62) has won 4 Black college national championships, winning one at all three schools he coached at:
>North Carolina Central: 2005, 2006
>Grambling: 2008
>North Carolina A&T: 2015

He's a former UNC Tarheel great
>born and raised 100 miles from UNC
>was HC at NC Central, which is right next door to UNC
>now HC at NC A&T, which is 50 miles west of UNC

I've reported this thread for REBBIT linking a cancerous server.

Fucking when?

they impressed me regardless

I hope to have Saturday's bowl games on my channel before Saturday

I'm gonna try to stream the NY6 and playoff sims
I'm gonna test the streaming system Sunday with 1 mascot game
Probably the Fiesta Bowl
Along with a twist on the Cotton and playoff games

The stream was cool last year

Nebraska adds Sept. 10, 2022 home game with Georgia Southern, who went 2-10 this year. Nebraska's OOC for the next 5 years is now set

Beyond that:
2023/2024 home and away with Colorado
2025 - nada
2026/2027 home and away with Tennessee
2028/2031 home and away with Arizona
2029/2030 home and away with Oklahoma

>fbschedules.com/ncaa/big-ten/nebraska-cornhuskers.php

>2-10 in 2017
>this is a clear predictor of how they'll do in 2022

You know nothing, user Snow.

>Bruce Feldman: SOURCE: Herm Edwards is targeting #TexasTech DC David Gibbs as #ASU's new defensive coordinator. Gibbs was his DB coach with the Chiefs.. Tech turned a corner this year w/ Gibbs up to No. 6 in Big12 on D.

That would be a big blow for Kliff if he left

>almost losing a game

It doesn't really matter as long as there's one marquee OOC game, and they have Oklahoma.

I want to see Hawaii vs Alaska

>UTSA defensive coordinator Pete Golding is “the leading candidate to join Alabama’s defensive staff” the Tuscaloosa News is reporting. Golding also coaches UTSA’s corners. FootballScoop sources add Golding was a candidate for defensive coordinator at Mississippi State, a job the ultimately went to Bob Shoop.

Interesting

Does Alaska have a FBS or FCS team?

FCS yes

Can't wait for 2021-2022 return of the true GOAT rivalry-OU vs. NU.

We may even be a decent team by then too, so it may actually have some playoff implications.

No they don't, unfortunately.
