The premiere just finished and all I can say is wow. Can't wait for the rest. What did you think Sup Forums ?

JACK IS BACK HOLY FUCK THIS IS SO GOOD
It was shit
this fucking guy was amazing
>a steaming pile of shit that's only redeemed by the presence of this man
How does he do it?
Looks like they really upped the violence, it's still kinda goofy because it's a cartoon but I'm definitely looking forward to the next episode
Not even a comparison. Gen Z ruins another artistically stunning franchise for a quick buck
Was pretty good. Didn't completely blow my mind but was exactly what I expected
THE FIGHT SEQUENCES WERE SO WEIGHTY
FUUUUUUUCK ITS SO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD
I'm furious that it's not longer.
So excited, I really want to see more.
Scatbot was dope, shame he got killed off so early.
anybody have a recording I can download? I need to take to my dad to watch with him, he has dialup.
It was great. It holds up unlike most reboots however it's far from perfect. Scatbot's death is an example.
He had more potential
Haven't been legitimately excited by a show in a long time. Good shit.
Gen Z aren't even adults yet grandpa
i missed the first 13 minutes aka the first half of the episode
what did i miss?
this episode seems pretty meh
Yeah babe
honestly i'm just hyped that jack is back
search on piratebay in an hour or so

ITS PUT ON THE LOOP, YOU CAN WATCH IT ANYTIME YOU WANT
It's not mindblowing, but I like it. Although after going back and watching the old episodes (check KissCartoon for that), the old episodes weren't either. They're all typically slowly paced and subtle. I like it though. Can't wait to see more.
A transvestite robot assassin playing a flute and singing like scatman? Yeah, it's pretty amazing
too bad they killed him already
All this has done is reignited my interest in cartoons, this is not good.
>free stream
>search Pirate Bay
...nigger it'll be on youtube in 10 minutes
>transvestite
i think you may be retarded.
I watched all four of the origami seasons several times, including as they aired, and as a huge fan, it was awesome. Only thing they got wrong was the final fight could've been a good deal longer. When Jack previously fought episode "bosses", it was usually half an episode of setup and half an episode of the fight. I felt like it jumped around too much, dealing with the craziness and daughters of aku. That could've been it's own episode, like how there was a lot of backstory and meandering in S4 and not too many "boss fights".
Still an 8/10
Do you seriously believe a show that's run on adult swim has Gen Z as it's target audience? Fucking think, user.
I don't think Austin Powers bot is gone, the black matter drifted away...
But I rather characters be killed off than stick around to make prissy fans happy
hopefully the rest of his enemies will be as interesting
>exploding tuning fork knife
that was a fun idea
whoa awesome dudes
How was he a transvestite?
I always heard Gen Z as being born from 1995/6 to the CURRENT YEAR
That is, unless you don't consider 22 year olds adults
my only problem was i feel you coulda cut one of the first two hallucination scenes. having them both as close together as they were seemed a little repetitive
the fire/water contrast between was pure kino though
>complaining that the robot died
since when has there ever been a reoccurring villain that isn't Aku? every episode has had a big bad that jack shits on and is never seen again, why would they keep this robot?
I noticed an animation error. Right after Jack is AAAAAAAAAHing the one robot, and strikes down on him, his beard is missing. Next shot, it's back. I'm trying to see if I can hunt down a screenshot of it.
He had heels. A transvestite in my books. Fuck off fag piece of scat
Based. The hype was real.
The depth with the backgrounds, interesting villains that are mortal, and the violence.
Tartakovsky stayed pure to his original work, I think it's an amazing episode.
We will see about this season.
Why wouldn't they?
You're move.
What's the point in having a half hour fight if you know neither can die until the end of it?
why did the robot give him the grenade like that
Yeah, noticed it too.
the child assassins being born and trained, aku has gone somewhere but its not clear, jack is bitter, grizzled, saves people, but is hallucinating that everyone in the past hates him because he has forgotten about them and they are all dying
this may be /tg/ related but I am trying to come up with ideas for a D&D campaign and will just rip off Samurai Jack now, the setting is so crazy
Because that character served it's purpose. Establish that Jack lost the sword, randomly call Aku to establish the new VA foe him and then die so Jack takes the tuning fork shortsword
Good
>scatbot
>Jack's redisgn
>the action is just as good
>why didn't you save us!
Bad
>aku sounds like poo
>no sword
Pretty great all things considered
>
Gen Z is anything past 2000
You're thinking of millennials
because they never have and there's no reason to start now, now why would they?
>Jack might use it later on
Oh man I can't wait to see him fuck someone up with that.
Why doesn't John Stamos shit on the whole cast and bukake Bob Saget at the end of season 4 episode 1? Because that's not the pattern. Shows have status quos, nigga. Deal with it.
The knife is his now
this
i want more right now
Gen Z is mid 90's to early 2000's you fucking tard.
retard
Well it would be an 11 minute fight since episodes are 22 minutes, and half of it would be setup, but just for the sake of development. Take Jack vs the Minions of Set, or Jack vs Demongo the Soul Collector. Those were both long fights but were very interesting as a lot was going on story wise while it happened.

Cool I thought I saw that
Good response Shia.
...
>Aku sounds like poo
well, it was a phone call on a dying phone to be fair lel
>no sword
Now I'm no genius russian weeb but I think there is at least a small chance that Samurai Jack will get his sword back at some point.
That's an excellent point user, really. I hadn't thought of it before. I guess it is moreso the spectacle though. SJ is known for its interesting fights that are pure chanbara and eye candy. I like that it occasionally dips into that pure and unadulterated excess.
none of Sup Forums has watched SJ because they're underaged shitposters
Fix it dude.
Where the hell did you get this retarded definition from
>projecting
underage b&
you underaged faggot
Not muh Mako
I think it might be a setup for Jack to find a different way to defeat Aku but it feels cheap that he looses it offscreen
Google.
>BlockS your path
what do?
cum on her thigh
how the fuck was he tricked so easily by his own weapon's abilities? he knew that knife was going to explode so why not back away just in case? surely, being Aku's favorite assassin, he realized that Jack would have enough common sense to at least try throwing it back in his face as it exploded? to that point he seemed intelligent enough but that was just poor writing and extremely anti-climactic
Remove my pants.
yeah yeah he's irreplaceable, but what can they do? Mash together old voice clips like they did for Chef on South Park?
y-you can fuck my wife.
we need rule34 immediately
its still streaming the episode on a loop at adult swim website
I like the decision. It changes things up, shows off new weapons (lmao guns) makes the evil thiccsquad seem more threatening and every new enemy seem less like a buster, sparks a plotline, etc.
And you just know you'll see Jack chopping stuff up eventually.
If I take that mask off will she die?
if it was sound based, and the first time it just shattered the sword but didnt blow it up, maybe Jack was sorta resisting the vibrations and letting the energy build up before throwing it at him? I dunno.
Can I pause/start from the beginning?
For you.
>millennial desperately trying to pretend to not be a millennial makes some retarded shit and you found it on google
Hmm
She's a big gal
Or Jack waited until the last moment to throw it.
user unless you're over the age of 35, you're a millennial.
Not even that guy, but I had a feeling Samurai Jack returning would come to this. I'm late 20s so I enjoyed it when it was coming out, but god damn, just get the show new fans instead of shunning them away. We're lucky as fuck we even got this final season; the show was considered shelved indefinitely for like 8 years.
For you
bretty gud ep
nothing amazing but a decent enough revival, the effeminate scatting music robot was amusing enough. Over all I feel good about the season
Did you just crop my image so you can re use it you fuck
So the Shadow Samurai that Jack keeps having PTSD about has The Sword?
>bad to the bone starts playing
HOLY FUCK that would be amazing if thats exactly what happens
Way too fucking short.
How does he refuel it?
>I think it might be a setup for Jack to find a different way to defeat Aku
So, a la Riddle of Steel?
It's painfully obvious that the shadow samurai is Jack.
That is what I'm most disappointed about so far this season.
>you're
YOUR image? I don't see your name written on it, pal.
